Recycling ♻️ (in America) isn't good because it isn't efficient. We could make it work, but we'd have to sort materials much more than we currently do. There is a village in Japan (Kamikatsu) that has almost perfected it. For it to really work we'd have to follow their model. Unfortunately the majority of our recycling goes to a landfill, because it cannot be processed and reused. I'm convinced that we only do it to feel virtuous. People have argued, that not only is recycling not solving any problems, it's actually creating more. There are several documentaries and news articles that explain the current issues much better than I could.

Losing Howard Stern as a friend is no loss at all. We all saw how quickly he could turn on his own staff. One of the worst cases was George Takei. He was a fan favorite who was so open about his personal life and Howard took advantage of his financial situation. However, when someone made an accusation at George during the Me Too movement, Howard quietly cut him off completely. Later it came out that the accuser was hazy on most of the facts and people realized the guy was probably caught up in the finger pointing. Stern should have stood by his friend until it was proven that he had committed a crime. Any A-hole can point a finger and try to ruin your life, but friends should be there to always support you.

Stern aside, I like the triple-cushion platform Nealon is sitting on just so his knees aren't in his eyes.
Im a huge fan of howard but on this matter, I agree with bill 100%.
Just how tiny is Bill?
@hutch1197

He's 5'8", but Nealon is 6'4", so a lot of people look tiny next to Nealon.
Howard and Bill came together briefly a couple years ago when they were moving up and down the spectrum In opposing direction, I remember Bill coming on HS when I was still a fan of Howard’s. Now they’re polarized again but on opposite sides, very strange.
All Howard wanted was praise and acceptance. Anytime he trashed somebody it was because they were in the club and he wasn’t. Now that he’s in the club, he trashes those who aren’t.
Bill always been one of my mentors ...... Respect
Howard was amazing back in the day but sadly he has gone 100% freak.
Never knew Kevin Nealon is 8’12”. They should’ve just had Maher sitting on his lap.
I have no doubt people remeber Bill Maher saying he was against recycling. I also have no doubt that Bill Maher never said he was against recycling.
All y'all bashing Howard cuz he ain't like he usedta be . Who is like they used to be 30 years ago ? Change happens; people grow wiser. Who cares if he's a germ freak? Everyone's allowed their little eccentricities .

The germ freak thing has nothing to do with it. I lost respect for him in the early 2000's when he became a massive hyp0crite and started snitching to management whenever Opie and Anthony would make fun of him. It got to the point where O&A couldn't even say his name without management coming down on them. Stern had devolved into sensitive cry baby a long time ago.

Stern was supposed to be the rebellious media man, but it turns out he's a cowered sheltered in his home.
Howard went from shock jock to nut job. At one time he was the man. Now he’s the woman.
Stern really turned into a weirdo over the pandemic.
Stern is a smart guy that evolved with the times. If you stay doing the same shit it becomes old and people lose interest.
I was a Stern junkie from 1982, then to Sirius. As of 2010 I couldn't take his shows anymore. Today he is, Everything Stern once hated!
Stern isn't even a good interviewer, he just reiterates what the guest said.

A good example is his interviews with McCartney - he never learns anything from the past interviews. I swear every time he asks the same things and makes the same mistakes, like asking if it's true that Ringo had more #1 hits than him and Paul having to say "uh...no, I don't think that's true." After all this time he knows very little about The Beatles. He's not a great interviewer but he gets great guests, gets a lot of time with them, and has a great studio setup for musicians to perform.
