When it's hot sitting in your car for 20 min - 1 hour waiting for a surge is a bad strategy. Plus starting and stopping the engine with AC is bad for the car.
It really depends on what market you in. But lyft is completly garbage in my market. If you decline five trips you get pause for hours. Plus in some areas in my market lyft takes away more money if you are in a rental. I feel lyft has more control over you if you are renting. When i was renting on uber i was able to make more money and felt less control. But it just depends what market you in

You’re right, my friend. I totally agree with you long trips. They don’t help the driver in anyway the best way is trying to negotiate with the customer.
Do you accept multiple stops requests or add- on stops when rider is in vehicle?

I was there last Saturday, the market totally dead, barely make $100 within 5hours, using UberX,Lyft,Uber eat, its no longer that good man.

In Chicago Uber pays more than Lyft even with $3 surges with Lyft. Only with 30-40% Turbo plus $2+ surge does Lyft pay more.
