Dealing with passengers who refuse to add a stop can be difficult and tricky. I've been tricked a couple times as well. They usually don't add stops for a few reasons. 1. They are hoping for a free ride 2. They are hoping to pay less by offering you cash 3. They genuinely don't know how to add a stop If you offer to add the stop for them and they refuse, they are hoping for a free ride or to pay less. It's that simple. If they say they will cash app or venmo you, acquire that money before heading to the next stop. But it's better to decline the offer since Uber and Lyft consider this as a violation of their terms of services. So if you remind the rider to send the cash, the rider can report you for requesting cash for a trip and the rider will get a full refund and you will be deactivated. So just refuse. If the rider says they will add the stop, stop the car until it's added. Likely, if the added stop comes before the main drop off and it's nearby, they are hoping you take them to it or close enough for them to pretty much argue "What's the point? We're already here." So stop the car. If they say they'll send money to you after the ride, they will likely not pay you and were just looking for a free ride. The best thing to do is add the stop for them if they genuinely don't know how or refuse taking them altogether. You can tell them that you will be fired for accepting cash on a trip and that you also don't do free rides. You are working, not doing favors.

You are just in a good market, that’s all. In Indy for example surge is rare. I part time on weekends, and it’s been very bad all spring and summer. In a premiere qualified car I average 20-25/hour on Friday evening. I don’t really drive Saturday evenings anymore because it’s completely dead. I live close to a concert place and just do concert events for few hours. Indy is a dead market. Many people know how to cherry pick, doesn’t take much skill.

You wont make $32.50 per hour, you get paid only when in route and drop off, if you sit and cancel rides for an hour, you get no pay that hour... you have to be driving fares to get paid. so you could be on the road for 10 hours, only drive 6.5 hours, at that rate u lose money

What’s wrong with millions of around the world? I have been driving full time for almost 10 years in LA for Lyft Black, and I also know how to accept regular Uber X rides, Uber Comfort, and regular Lyft at rates that pay at least $3 per mile, and much more. The truth is, Americas economy is in the the trash, and almost all rides are paying $1 a mile or less!! Almost no one is ordering Uber black or Lyft Black anymore. 99% of all drivers around the world are excepting all of their rides for one dollar per mile or even less. You are not making money. At that rate, if you made $150 for the whole day, you lost around $200 or more in taxes, gas, and wear and tear on your car and body. Drivers working for regular UberX and regular Lyft, and excepting 99% of their rides that pay around one dollar per mile or less, are the reason everything is broken. You are all Uber slaves.

Don’t ever rent any car for any price from Uber or Lyft. I’m a 10 year full time Uber Black/Lyft Black veteran driver from LA. When you crunch the numbers and realize that there’s no rentals or hardly any ride requests for Uber/Lyft Black, that leaves you with rentals from $250 to $600 a week, with almost all of your rides, paying one dollar or less per mile, and you slaving for 10 to 12 hours a day, 6 to 7 days a week, for a little over $500 a week, minus taxes, gas, and/or charging, and a broken body. Not to mention a skyrocketing chance of being in a severe crash, or dying from being on the road nonstop driving. Even if you use your own car, you will kill your car in two years or less from nonstop driving for one dollar or less per mile. Don’t do it! Get any other job I personally have to quit my job after doing it for almost 10 years, even though I do the luxury Uber and Lyft. No one is ordering the luxury anymore, and I refuse to drive for one dollar or less per mile for people that are not tipping anymore either.

Side not delivery drivers should get $2 per delivered packages unless multiple packages per house. They can easily make an extra 300 to 700 a day just from that alone. Make it a mandatory tax that the customer pays.

Is it me or are these really good offers he's denying? $13.50 for 7 miles and only 17 minutes????? Is Boston traffic really bad at 7pm? Here in Tampa fl I'd NEVER see trips that pay out that much for that little mileage. But maybe cost of living makes the offers pay more? Or is it the over saturation of Cuban drivers here in Tanpa that take anything they see pop up on the screen that makes it less here ? $7.68 for 8 miles is typical in Tampa market. At the airport waiting lot it's 98% Cubans that can't speak English that sit around. Maybe the 2 step background in Mass make it harder for illegal immigrants. Can someone tell me why the offers are amazing on his screen. I'd make $300 a day easily there in Boston.

It's almost good but do the quick math and be honest about dead time between rides and you should aim for yes $2 per mile and maybe $1 per minute because if you don't once you add expenses and dead time then you're "OUT" there working for $10 to $15 per hour or less than fastfood work if you take all rides....
