Why Linda Tripp Taped Her Calls With Monica Lewinsky

Ойын-сауық

When Linda Tripp first made claims about sexual impropriety in Washington, the White House responded by attacking her credibility. Fearing a perjury charge, her lawyer made a daring suggestion: tape your calls.

She did it because she was salty about being moved to the pentagon that’s why. Period. When she found out about the scandal she had a motive and mission. In her head she did it because she saw a young girl hurting and it was the right “thing to do” but nah, she was just salty.

What does “salty” mean? And what is a book deal and meaning? I never knew anything about the 90s, even tho I was born in 93. I grew and notice things in the early 2000s. I’ve learned about the Clinton scandal from the new series by FX. What is this book deal she was trying to get and what is Linda’s definition of “book deal”?

Oh yeah, it truly sounds like Linda Tripp was hesitant about taping the calls. Wished Monica had that sense we all had in Middle School when we learned how to pick out the little backstabbing snitch who would tell our secrets out to everyone.

She broke a friends confidence. It wasnt her story to tell. Thats why she was so hated. Breaking a friends confidence resonates with us all. Its an unwritten promise with women, as we specially confide in friendship. If you cant trust that, then we lose a great part of how women communicate with each other. Linda violated that and should have just stepped away and let the whole thing take its course, without her.

linda tripp was sincere, and despite the way the media described her, she did what anyone else would have done if they had common sense. Monica herself blamed her for "betraying their friendship", before judging a person it is necessary to understand the reasons that lead a person to commit a certain action, if only they had listened to Linda Tripp with more attention they would have realized that what she did was right, one does not lie under oath, one does not lie in a trial against a poor woman who has been molested, one does not ask her friend to lie, one does not stain a position so high that it is a presidency with reprehensible behavior. Let's stop blaming this woman who didn't create the scandal and let's stop judging her for telling about Monica Lewinsky's relationship, for having "leaked the secret" that if you want a secret to remain a secret, you don’t tell it around the whole office. Let's shift our attention to those who are truly responsible for everything. Ah, I'm still waiting for an apology from Monica Lewinsky towards Paula Jones. Thank you
