Few things: MW is so shallow and this is the fight that makes sense for Perth, as the UFC is so focused on gate revenue. Izzy does not deserve it based on merit. He already got his immediate rematch with Alex based on his accomplishments. He then got routed in his fight vs Strickland. He had zero defenses in his 2nd reign. Is Adeysana a PPV draw? He draws when he has a rival, but not on his own. I doubt the Izzy vs Marvin or Cannonier fights did much on PPV. Him vs Yoel is tied with Rose vs Carla for worst UFC title fight of all time IMO. Izzy sent Pereira to LHW by immediately after his win saying he did not want the trilogy. Alex was even still calling for the trilogy after he went to LHW, but Izzy does not want the trilogy. He's content with his win. OK My god the press conferences leading to this are going to be another level of cringe. historically Izzy as the challenger has fought more aggressive and gotten finishes, so let's hope that guy shows up, because I can't remember another champ in the modern era who's had the crowd walking out of his title fights so many times. Strickland couldn't handle his business against ddp ..he also cried about having an immediate rematch with Izzy so cry later either way Izzy was going to fight for the belt

@@thatboybrandon123 He didn't get an immediate rematch tho. He had to fight Costa, and he beat him, while Izzy just sat out off of a lopsided loss. shrug. MW gonna MW.
