Is your Pacman Frog not eating? Don’t worry! Keep trying but give your Pacman time to settle in! Every frog is different some eat in a couple days some take a week, KEEP TRYING, but Just give it time! Baby Pacman frogs do need to eat more often than adults so keep they in mind as well! Don’t touch or move them, and they will eat when they are ready. Offer them food every few days until they are ready to eat! Good luck! * when I spoke about giving it a week or two, i meant it can take up to 2 weeks for them to settle but most settle much faster but keep trying to feed them and hopefully they will eat!

So I got my baby frog a little over a week ago, and he still hasn't eaten. Is he just stressed about moving in? I have unfortunately touched and moved him, so is this just going to take longer than it normally would? I'm worried about him starving or worse. We bought him from PetSmart and he was active when the lady took him out of his tank. He will hop away if I do try to touch him, but I am almost certain that he hasn't eaten since we brought him home. And he isn't particularly active, even though I know they're not generally active in the first place, mine is particularly inactive.

hey! i got my baby pac-man yesterday, and he ate the day i got him and he pooped, but he’s showing no interest in food right now. the temp is 78 degrees in his enclosure with a 70% humidity. i’m freaking out 😭😭😭

Ah that's too bad, just means he didnt get fed right over the years. Dont get me wrong you can be a caring owner and not realize your under feeding your reptile or amphibian, I did it.

I don't know I just bought him in Taiwan. I actually didn't buy him he was giving to me. The owner I had him for like less than a month and then just came to me. We followed with the pet store said in regards to feeding him. He got bigger since I wrote this post. But he probably needed other things than just pellets. I don't know in America they have different standards for feeding any kind of pet like a beta cuz I have betas. but usually amphibians reptiles bettas and Taiwan they all get fit every other day or every two days. I usually just would feed them every other day maybe four or pellets depending on what it is. Of course I have blood worms as well for bettas. I thought about getting worms for my frog but the store said if you get worms he won't eat his pellets

@@meggrotte4760 yeah for the most part over here (US) all are imported or bred there not native ofcourse but anyway we feed em live prey like crickets, worms etc also to promote a healthy diet you want ro use calcium powder on the food. They can sometimes even eat mice when they are big enough Sounds to me like she got under fed has a baby and didnt get the proper nutrition and shit to grow big. The first three months of a pacmans life they grow the most. So baby's eat the most, for the most part. This can vary though. Also the part of him not eating the pellets if he got worms isn't that far off because you also have to take into account what the frog is used to eating. Although weaning him off pellets and giving em live prey like insects and nightcrawlers will be the best. That will take time though.

@@sethhowerton1489 oh thank you actually sadly my frog passed away but I'm recovering from a broken shoulder but in about 6 months I hope to get a new one and thank you for the advice. I'm sorry I think the way they raise them in Taiwan is different. But I will work on that in the future

Literally dealing with a pacman that won’t eat RIGHT NOW! This couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve been trying to give my blob a little time but I’ve been worried of course. He hasn’t eaten on his own for a couple of weeks, so I’ve had to sort of gently assist-feed a bit just to get something in his system.

BB's Beasties this is very very common! That’s why I made this to put minds at ease. They can go a week or so and then start eating out of nowhere! Keep temps up and keep them moist and they should be eating soon! Good luck!

I swear this video made me feel so much better, I got a pacman frog shipped to me and i missed the package and waited an extra day to pick the Frog up when I brought it home I quickly gave it a honey bath because I thought it was dying I gave it a warm honey bath 87°f its legs were stretched out it kind of got me nervous so I drained the water a little bit and then I put it in the cage it's been 4 days so far and it's not eating doesn't even move when I put the food right next to its face, it hasn't moved for 4 days from the spot I put it LOL I know it's a live because everytime I sprinkle a little bit of water on him he sort of moves I just hope I can be able to feed him his first meal.. I have so much food I ended up getting another Pac-Man frog but from a pet shop just so the crickets doesn't go to waste and the Pac-Man from the pet shop ate the first day so I guess each Pac-Man is different. But seriously I hope the the Pac-Man that get shipped to eats eventually because I'm 😟 worried right now

Hey there! Brought home a pacman maybe a few weeks ago. One thing I've also observed - my pacman won't eat if they're belly is full. Normally I have to wait for them to poop before they're ready to eat again. If they're feeling a little constipated, I give mine a bath in spring water! Lol.

This was really reassuring to know Lemon and Fiona didn't eat for a couple weeks after getting them. I got a baby pacman frog about 3 days ago and he hadn't eaten without assistance. I got him to eat dubias the first and second day but he won't eat on his own, at least not yet. Knowing this makes me feel a lot better! MY pacman is named Pancake and he's super tiny, only about 8 grams.

Swimming can help Pacman to activate digestion around 2 or 3 minutes and don’t put the water too much and should be swim with soft sunlight that’s gonna be useful for that. Hibernation frog it’s the one thing that for not eats you should prepare a coconut fiber with a water cup and coconut fibre should be moist. Do not let the water hit the frog because the water may wake the frog up. Should let the frog hibernate for about two months or one months or 20 days it’s up to your frog, location and temperature. The heat will make it wake up itself, and usually, the frog will hibernate from cold season to the rainy season and the water is like the rain to wake the frog as well. In the event that frogs sleep too long, they should use water to wake up.

I've had an Australian White's Tree frog for about two weeks now. We were keeping her too cold, and quickly realized our mistake in time. We purchased an Infrared heat lamp to keep her at the needed temperatures. She has only eaten one cricket since I bought her. It's been worrying me. Thank you for the insight and giving me hope she'll be okay. We all need space in times of change, even us humans.

Thank you for this video...unfortunately we just lost our new baby albino. My daughter was sooo sad till she heard your video and heard you say it was so common for baby frogs to stress so easily or how they could already be sick when bought. She kept wondering what we had done wrong. Hamburger only lasted 2 weeks unfortunately, but maybe after Christmas we will try again. We had him in a small enclosure with wet sphagnum moss per the reptiles shops request for his substrate. Anyways, thanks for the info.

ive had two pacmans one when I was 12 and I held it to much so it died. then I had one in the ninetys named walter he was gorgeous. I keep my house super cold I'm always so hot.my a c is set for 67 but if I'm cleaning the house I keep it 64. so I have to have heaters for all my pets. my frog did great until his legs broke out in a rash. took him to the vet they said it was probably his bedding which was dirt and moss. vet was right I switched beddings it went away. he only lived four year miss him. love ur videos love lemon too.

Another reason why your pacman frog would not be eating is because its weight.. they would need to be fed once or twice every two to three days.. And they are lazy at day.. so it is best to feed at night when they are active.

Cora Croxford OMG, same. I have mine in a Terrarium that i put so much effort into spending over 300$ to perfect ideal wild conditions, just to have him not even touch his food whatsoever. I purchased him from Josh’s frogs and i’ve had him about 3 months. Hes only eaten about 3 night crawlers and 2 wax worms. I’m getting worried and i have no clue what to do. I’ve had my baby Pac-Man for about 7 days now and he’s been eating really good as soon as I got him and actually was eating from my hands up until yesterday! Another reason why your frog might not be eating (depending on how long) he could be trying to poop! Mine goes off food a few days before he poops

Is there a way to help them poop? I think that's what's going on with mine. Eating like a beast and then all of a sudden, nothing. But I haven't seen any poop in at least 4 days. It's still a baby.

I got a pacman frog last week ,I tried feeding a pinky and he got it in his mouth but the mouse was too big , so my frog was sitting all day trying to swallow the mouse, eventually the mouse got out of his mouth so I took the mouse out, I threw a mealworm in there and he won't eat any suggestions? It's been 3 days , (the first day I fed a mealworm and he ate it right away, the second day was when i tried to feed the pinky, and he hasn't ate ever since )

I had called a specialist and they said that the super mealie could have bit her on the inside or be impacted, but mine goes potty fine, so they told me, if I give her the ,super mealies, to take their beaks or heads off. This does make their insides come out, so I may just keep her on the smaller mealie worms and her dusted crickets. She is very close, qt almost 9 months to being able to eat smaller pinkies! She is beautiful. And I am so in love with her. She is a translucent, albino argentine horned frog and so sweet. Loves coldplay's song yellow. She breaths to the beat, and gets real still and listens to the singing, then back to breathing to the beat, so she has her own little ways. I love her. Not a biter either. She got mad at me and screamed once. She is a creature of habit. She looks out the window during the day, and turns the other way if she's hungry or its night. She is such a peaceful little being.

It’s hard for me to say, I can’t see him eat or the setup but I tong feed so I know lemon gets enough & I can give her variety :)

On any videos I watch on packman frogs I cannot find if I put calcium with D3 on the crickets or if I put calcium without D3 on the crickets what should I do?

GamingQueen 68 calcium with d3 twice a week, multi vitamin once a week (with or without d3. its a water soluble vitamin so providing a little more than necessary isn’t harmful; it’ll just come out in the animal’s waste)

My new baby pacman frog has buried himself comepletely under the substrate to where I can't even see his eyes. He hasn't eaten since I've gotten him (5 days). Do they just come above ground when they're hungry? I don't want to move him, but I'm worried since he's a baby.

I know this is late but temp should be between 75 and 85 while humidity should be between 50 and 80%

Do I need to feed Pac-Man by tongs or leave crickets in cage for him to eat himself?

Either, i do tongs to prevent eating substrate but crickets are great for them to chase

I know this comment is late and probably won’t be answered but, My Pac-Man frog has not been eating for about 2 weeks, I got him in December, it is now June the 1st (so about, 6 months) he is blinking, but not moving a lot, when I got home from a 3 day vacation his legs were limp behind him, and he usually has his feet under him. Any suggestions? He already passed on into the afterlife...

I need some help.. My partner got a baby pacman frog (2-3 months old) about a month ago.. It ate once.. The thing is, their sister accidentally left the ac on last night (it was about 21-22 degrees Celsius) Now it's not moving at all, they put it on its back, it didn't move.. They gently nudged its mouth and it didn't react, the eyes are open.. Is it dead or did it go into hibernation? I know that shouldn't ever happen to babies, but is there a possibility of it happening and the frog still being alive if it was just a few hours..?

I just brought mine home yesterday I threw 3 crickets in the tank so he can eat if he so chooses if they die I will just dust more and throw them in since it's stressful for the car trip and new tank.

Try not to leave crickets in your tank while you’re not supervising, as they can bite your reptile and cause them more stress ): also: Pac-Man frogs are opportunistic hunters, which means they won’t chase the crickets. It’s best to tong feed them to make sure they’re able to catch their food. If he won’t eat right away, wait a few days-1 week and try again (:

My frog has lost weight and his pelvis is very visible, he sits in his water dish 24/7 and he has lost weight I've had him for a little while He is small and still poops

May be too dry & needs to be fed. 💗 they also expel water as well and slim down.
