Nah the match was supposed to end with Gunther winning it but the chops that Gunther gave shaemus might have been personal because of the twitter rivalry they were having and shaemus was selling it to him like is that all you got lol. They both are Marks for wanting to be this in ring warrior type of wrestling fighting even though injury. It's on both of them.

It's not a new " era" if Triple H and Stephanie are still there at the top , running things. It just shows you the pettiness and vindictiveness that they have and how the company still operates with a shallow ignorant mindset.

If Russo is telling the truth about the Harris Brothers then I have even that much more respect for them.

I have a theory, uneducated to be sure, that this was a means of Triple H solidifying that he’s is charge and not a pushover. The implicit message in what happened to Sheamus is that if this is what happens to Triple H’s buddy, imagine what happens to anyone else. I don’t endorse the actions, but I feel this is how they are best rationalized.

I think this was all because of the deleted tweet that shaemus put out on gunther to which gunther responded saying WTF so this was mostly a shoot match between them and also giving triple h the opportunity to make gunther look more strong who he is completely investing in. The tweet by shaemus was few days before raw so it might make sense.

Ric Flair was more blown up in his "last match" than Sheamus was.

Remember, awhile back Sheamus was openly vocal in a couple interviews about how WWE wasted his organic momentum when he returned to Smackdown and was paired with the Brawling Brutes. Sheamus also said something along the lines of “nobody cared about Roman Reigns until he turned heel in 2020”. So not only did Sheamus openly criticize WWE creative, he also talked about the golden boy Reigns. I think this was a direct message to others who might speak out against the current regime that this will be the consequence. I’m gonna be brutally honest here, Triple H is a younger and more politically correct version of McMahon. The same vindictiveness and the same childish attitude towards the talents. I hope that TKO will eventually fire everyone associated with McMahon including Triple H and Bruce Prichard.

Hunter was always "me me me" type of guy, he's been creatively involved since late 99. Look at his World Title run, all about him being the best of the Clik, him being better than those WCW who rejected him in the early 90's (one of his Title Reign is nearly only beating guys from WCW, Nash, Booker, Steiner). If Scott Hall wasn't a mess back then, he would have booked himself winning over Scott. HHH entire booking career was a titanic vanity project, at least Vince booked Austin as Sonic and him as Eggman always seeing his plans thwarted, and he did it only when ratings needed him to be an active character.

what organic momentum...he was one of the most forgettable stars even when he beat cena...ambrose was just as boring when he was champion..

Sheamus stated that he was to return at the draft but he got a call to come back a bit earlier than expected. He answered the call. Drew and Sheamus are best friends so exchanging barbs for laughs is just banter on their part. Sheamus loves working with Gunther and they knew and probably so did Sheamus ..that Sheamus would be working Gunther in the KOTR..it was expected. The problem is that because of their previous meetings there were high expectations for the rematch...but Sheamus simply didn't have a full tank this time around. They still got a sound match out of it.

This kind of thing used to happen regularly when Vince was in charge so who is doing the same stuff now, almost makes you think Vince is still in power.

Shaemus is good. Wwe is letting too much talent go. Aew roster is definitely more talented. Bron beeaker is too short, amd so are all the other nxt guys. Also 2nd generation stars are kjmd of lame, so are college athletes. I don't see any kimd of good future for wwe.
