Of course. God knows and tells those He speaks to. I wouldn't trust an a-Thiest that talks to another a-Theist, and neither believe in God when He foretold the end from the beginning that only those who He allows to live will live. Most atheists die horribly they say. Cursing, illnesses, fear and trembling, gnashing teeth and claiming God is a madman and evil. *If God is non-existent, why call Him names* God is visible to those who have eyes to see; Rom 1:20

There is another biblical point that is seldom addressed. I have a relative who believes the miracles, specifically of the Old Testament, to be the makings of fairy tales. But if we had the Word of an omnipotent God who did no miraculous signs or wonders, that would seriously put into doubt his omnipotence. We NEED these miracles in order to understand God's power. And if an unbeliever read a bible that had no miraculous signs, he or she would be less inclined to put any trust in that god. In the same way, we need the miracle of starlight to show us just how powerful God is. Starlight, in and of itself, is a miracle---plain and simple---because we shouldn't be able to see it at all except for the sun and some very close stars. I have no problem "bumping into" a miracle when it comes to discussing science because the rules that science has discovered also come from God who is the only one who can either bend or break those rules.

It certainly was miraculous. The entire creation event was entirely miraculous of God. On the 3rd day the plants before the sun on the 4th day the sun, moon, stars 20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind So God simply created everything as new but also matured, full grown, as if it took a long time to get there, so why not starlight.

Even provided that it is a miracle, if the speed of light changes, it affects nearly everything else in our physical framework. Can the Universe even remain stable if the lightspeed begins to change? Contraction and expansion in a 3+1 hypersurface vacuum expansion can occur with gravitational waves. The light speed barrier becomes irrelevant if the distance can shorten and expand without effecting rate of travel. You can take longer to reach the same destination at the same speed depending on how space time has been stretched out. But this is only a potential explanation for some observances, not all Personally I'd recommend Robert H. Stein's statement on Miracles and how belief in or against them is what will inevitably determine which direction the first step in your journey takes, and ultimately your final destination. Lutheran Satire has a very humorous video on the subject called Conal and Donal meet Richard Dawkins, my favorite line is the joke about disproving the existence of barium in a laboratory setting simply by throwing away the few samples they definitively had on hand.

@@modakkagitplugga, so far all observed deformations of spacetime have been waves, returning cyclically to the original state in a short time. The space-deforming waves are so faint that we need top-level instruments to detect them even though the natural phenomena creating them are of cataclysmic scale, like colliding black holes. This is very different from the whole observable universe to rescale itself and stay that way. Even supposing that such a space deformation has happened, we are still not off the hook, because such deformations do not disappear without leaving traces, a record of the things happened that we can read from the sky when the light of them reaches our eyes. Creation narrative in Genesis is composed of two strands: one describes the process of creation starting with "Let there be light...", (scientists call this the big bang), accompanying this creation narrative is the second narrative which culminates in Seventh Day Shabbat rest, these two narratives are intertwined together as is melody and rhythm in a piece of music. The repetitive "And it was evening and morning..." is the rhythm section, its purpose is to introduce the 7th day Shabbat, this does not impose earthly 24hr time on the creation narrative. It is unnecessary for Christians to insist on 6 x 24hr creation, but we are to maintain that creation emerges perfectly formed from the moment of its appearance. Fossil evidence confirms that creation appeared perfectly formed, there is no evidence of evolution from so called lower forms, there is adaptation, but there is no species transition. Hebrew word for "day" does not necessarily mean 24 hr earthly time, the meaning allows for very long earthly time, consistent with scientific observation. Crucial point to defend for Christians is that creation is "very good" from the get go, and does not evolve across species boundaries. Regarding nature of Man: Man is the embodied breath of Life, this breath of Life is our mind. Man consists of: physical body, the mind, and language. The physical body is me, the mind is me, the word is me, a triune unity.

They are still unsure of many microbiological subtractions and reactions that somehow maintain balance in our own body. Which is rather susceptible to disease yet highly sustainable and implausibly regenerative. It's degradative yet regerantive. Mind blowing. Genesis is all super vague for a reason, God doesn’t have to tell us squat. He knew we would be interested, as he knows all, and gave us a basic over view of everything(like a PowerPoint of creation). I think the concept of time is more geared towards showing us about the sabbath, and not necessarily so literal. If the universe was much more dense than it is today, the light was at one point already here. For the light to not be here, the expansion of the universe would have had to have been faster than the speed of light. It could have been as fast as the speed of light or faster and we couldn't know the difference.

Inflation and general relativity can actually be used to argue for a young universe. Since time is relative, and the deeper you are inside a gravitational well, the slower it passes for you, and since in the early universe everything was close together, causing the most massive gravitational well in all of the universe's history (the singularity from which the universe supposedly expanded from), then from our perspective today, far above in the "average" gravitational well of the universe, looking at the distant past by observing light, it would appear to be much, much older, but just because time was running slower then. Just like if you look at an object falling into a black hole, it will appear to you as if it was moving slower. It means there are some parameters that could be applied to Einstein's field equations, where both statements: "from my frame of reference, the universe appears to be billions of years old" and "from my frame of reference, the universe appears to be a few thousand years old" are simultaneously true. If I still was up to date with my tensor calculus, I would give it a shot at finding these parameters. Something tells me they will be remarkably close to the conditions of the inflationary period.

I always remember reading a news article when I was a teen, it was about a church in Mexico I think where one night all the statues ( Catholic ) in the church all turned to face the statue of the baby Jesus and they said it was a miracle. It later said that scientists found that an earthquake occurred in that area which rocked the church just right to make all the statues rock and just so happen to turn and face Jesus. I remember thinking “ maybe that is how God turned all the statues, He used an earthquake just right and not His hand “. I later learned of many other things done this way by God and most of them set in motion way back at the creation. In this video they were talking about starlight taking many many years to get to earth, I believe God created Stars way out in space with light from them already traveling across the universe as if they were there for thousands of years. Like not only creating a 747 jumbo jet in full running condition but creating a 747 jumbo jet in running condition with 3000 hours of running time on it all hot wailing across the sky at 30,000 ft with a long jet trail behind it as if it had been there.

Berry Setterfield’s work on light and How it is directly associated with ZPE, explains a lot concerning light. He found Zero point energy as it increases is directly proportional to light actually slowing down. As the universe is being stretched (like a rubber band) generating energy in the form of waves which collide to create matter. When the peak waves move apart they convert back to energy. Think of two waves in the sea colliding and where they intersect forms a crests creating a white cap That becomes visible. As the waves continue on, The wave energy dissipates and the white cap disappears. In a similar manor, In the brief moment of time ZPE waves collide, it becomes a particle and captures the photons acting like a hurdle for the photon slowing it down. This is why matter seems to appear from nowhere Then disappears again. String theory was a result of observing these colliding waves. Their error was that they surmised matter was being drawn from another universe popping in and out of existence From one dimensions to another. “Again secular scientists trying to justify their worldview.” If it is impossible for life to exist because of laws of probability, then if I have an infinite number of universes, my probability improves. In essence, “if I just add more time I can justify evolution”......Anyway, The more hurdles the photon encounters the slower the beam of light. The less tension there is on the fabric of space the lower or the longer the waves. The more tension we put on the fabric like a rubber band increases the potential and shortens the wave intervals, thus the frequency of peak wave collisions increase. We have been taught that The speed of light is a constant, which is provably not true. Light could actually get to the earth instantaneously, it could take five minutes 10 minutes our 1000 years we just don’t know. There are several experiments conducted recently, where it’s has been demonstrated you can stop light dead in its tracks And start the photon up again. They’ve Slowed it down to 35 miles an hour. Light refraction in water also shows that light actually slows down according to the medium is traveling through. These all demonstrate the speed of light is associated or can be affected by the medium it travels through. The Bible even gives us a clue when it says the heavens can be worn out, stretched, torn, folded, etc. Nothing is supposed to be able to travel faster than the speed of light but physics reveals that you can effect one particle on one side of the universe and instantaneously affect others across the universe That can’t happen unless everything is connected for example. If I put a pen mark on a sheet of paper and I put my finger on the other side I move the mark instantaneously as I move my finger and the sheet under it. In a similar way the fabric of space works. As the fabric is stretched it gains more potential energy increasing ZPE. The expectation then is that if the universe is continually expanding or as God puts it “he stretches out the heavens“ is that light in the past would have been instantaneous or exponentially faster than it is today. Another question we need to solve is the red shift. The red shift can no longer be attributed to expansion of the universe. We have now found galaxies where the red shift occurs in the middle of a spiral galaxy. If the red shift is caused by expansion then how can occur in the middle of an organized galaxy. We should observe a galaxy being ripped apart not an orderly spiral as it is observed today. What that would conclude is that the red shift could be caused by something other than a Doppler effect. I would suggest we may be looking at early light wave when the ZPE waves were longer and the universe had less tension. Another good physicists to look into if you want to understand how the universe formed and how it works is David Lapointe’s premier field theory. He demonstrates gravitational forces are the effect of magnetic bowls formed by a Z pinch. This Z pinch focuses energy in the form of plasma and converts it to matter. These magnetic fields created by the resulting “Primer Fields” even affect non-ferrous material. As energy is drawn through a central nul point, (note: Energy radiates out from the null point in two directions known as magnetic poles in waves expanding in ratios seen in Fibonacci sequence, The outer weaker part of these waves are then drawn back in to the center) solid matter and raw energy is drawn toward this flow of energy much like a floating object in a stream is drawn toward the heaviest flow. The only reason we do not get pushed down the stream is because matter has formed around the drain or like hard water builds up minerals which acts like a sifter where only raw energy seeps through. The matter and larger items remain on top as energy in the form of magnetic energy is drawn through the center and expelled through the pipe which runs along its axis. These magnetic bowls “primer fields” generate magnetic fields focus energy to the point it converts to matter but in a stable state unlike the colliding ZPE waves which peak and then dissipate. Unconverted energy continues to flow through a central point where the Z pinch occurred because it can travel through the matter as it is smaller. This current then draws the matter inward toward the center pipe. like an electric current passing through a wire creates what’s called Eddy currents. Which the planets and the moons are caught in. Each planet and moon are Cut in these Eddy currents or Birkeland current along the axial plane formed by the primer field bowls. If you’ve ever seen rapid moving water you might get a sense of this effect. Picture a whirlpool forming because there’s an obstruction. The water is not allowed to pass freely and it creates a whirl pool. Any sticks or debris that are floating around a specific distance can actually be repealed from being sucked into the center. While everything else within the event horizon is drawn inward. Gravitational forces and magnetism are nothing more than the flow of energy. Since flowing plasma has Tendrils or fibers much like muscles they interact with each other. They are called Birkeland currents. As the Z pinch is Forming, The outer filaments are collapsed into planets and moons, as it continues to compress these plasma filaments become so dense that enough energy flows through it to go into arc mode which is what creates nickel, iron and then all the other elements. Our sun is a result of a Z pinch that has happened in the center of multiple filaments that as they compressed formed planets and once it collapses enough went into a arc mode. Because energy flow is sustained the arc is sustained. Again like a drain having too much water poured through it, some will splash out in the form of electrons which then collide with the first thing it hits, creating fusion only at the surface. This is why when we look at the sun spots they are 4000° cooler which means the center of the sun is not the source of fusion as the gravity model would predict. We observe fusion is not being generated from inside but happening at the surface of the sun. Like all energy it will seek equilibrium that’s why an electron accelerates as it moves away from the sun. It’s equalizing potential. The flow direction of the plasma creates the poles and the magnetic fields created by the collapse of the filament not only generate an Eddie current causing the systems to revolve a certain way but it creates an axial plane in which they are trapped in. A spiral galaxy is created when two filaments are traveling in the same direction and they interact with each other. Other formations are created when two filaments collide going in opposite directions. All demonstrated in the lab. Recently they discovered that spiral galaxies centers are spinning at the same rate Is its outer planets. This is an impossibility if gravity is the causal force of planetary formation and galaxy formation. There is no such thing as a graviton or even gravitational force as we know it. It is merely the effect of energy and energy flow. This flow creates frequencies such as radio and light Like the amount of breath forms a note on a flute depending on the whole size and the amount of air passing across it. ............ capacitance resistance and vibration. This same mechanism explains galaxy formation, solar systems all the way down to atoms. What you see then in an electron microscope is a physical representation of the magnetic primer field bowls. A proton and a neutron may be nothing more than magnetic pole opposites. Recent studies have shown Z pinches can be created in water via sound waves. Looks like a star in water. Ironically as hot as the sun. (The sun is a plasmoid). There have been multiple plasma studies that have been able to reproduce every formation we see In galaxy formations. Sapphire project has even created many signs complete with solar flares and pole reversals. What is interesting to think about is that the Bible notes in the end God will simply let go and the earth and the universe will go up in flames with A fervent noise. The sun and stars will go dark. Guess what would happen if you stop the flow of energy?

It just occurred to me too that space might not be curved like Einstein Theorized. Light may be drawn to the planetary body due to the flow of energy. Have you ever seen the experiment where you rub a balloon on someone’s hair and then hold it next to a running faucet? Photons are merely a form of energy, it is likely they would interact with positively charged planets much like a balloon.

You don’t try to refute them, not even on one point. Yet you think you’re being really scientific while you say zero about science! And by the way, even if the universe would be billions of years old, that would give absolutely no support for the evolution theory. We can see what’s happening right here on this planet with real science and logic. And it shows that there is no way the human beings came from bacteria or fish or Lucy. For just one of countless example, Richard Dawkins says you came from bacteria. What does the actual data show on this planet earth? Not one of them has ever been shown to be anything but bacteria in their bacterial domain, no matter how much it changes. There ain’t any transitions. The idea of cramming the Bible’s text into our beliefs is called eisegesis, as opposed to exegesis, which is pulling meaning and understand FROM the text. A simple reading of the text answers the question. God intended that the lights in the heavens were to be for signs and seasons, days and years. Genesis 1:14-19 14 ¶ Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; 15 “and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. 16 Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17 God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 So the evening and the morning were the fourth day. Obviously He created them in such a manner as to provide visible reference from the earth instantaneously, which, if you are an omnipotent creator, is fairly easy to accomplish, simply by changing the speed of light. The next dilemma is, why did God have to RECREATE the Earth at all. In Genesis 1:2 it states: The Earth HAD BECOME without form, and void. When you look at the actual Hebrew: Inflected: הָיְתָה Root: הָיָהSpeaker Icon Strong's: H1961 Language: Hebrew Code: H Vqp3fs Vqp3fs Word: הָיְתָה Speech: Verb Stem: Qal Type: Perfect (qatal) Person: 3rd Person Gender: Feminine Number: Singular Long: Hebrew Verb: Qal Perfect (qatal) 3rd Person Feminine Singular Which one is a verb, “WAS” or “HAD BECOME”? This is called the “Gap Theory,” and it has merit. It states that there is an undetermined amount of time between the two verses. Either way, this only becomes a problem when you err, and place God inside of the human restraints to understanding box. If He’s truly omnipotent, then this problem evaporates. What is the definition of a “DAY” anyway? By our cosmic understanding, it is the length of time it take for the earth to make a full rotation on its axis. The sun, moon, and stars do not operate on the same “DAY” definition. Maybe he made the stars in one full rotation of THE UNIVERSE, which could be many billions of years. Bottom line, maybe start defending your beliefs based on the omnipotence of the Creator. People who are looking for a scientific explanation of how this may have occurred are ask us to argue from the impossible position of an assumption that we know things that our scientists and astrologers are light years from knowing themselves. This is simply reductio ad absurdum, which is best answered with an absurd answer, aka, God is Omnipotent. Absurd? Yes, but also true.

Christians have no fear of saying "I don't know." When a Christian Scientist (not the cult) encounters data that conflicts with what God has told us, either directly through His word or in evidence He left in His creation, we know that the error is either in the data or with our understanding of the data, not with God or His creation. Both secular and Christian scientific theories are constantly changing, but the motivations are different. The Christian wishes only to conform his perceptions to the truth. The secularist wishes only for the truth to conform to his perception of it. By the way, secular science has the same problem. Secular science says the universe is 14 billion years old, but 93 billion light years across. Same problem, different scale, and they can't answer the question yet either.

Time does not pass at the same rate under different conditions. Stars created four days after the Earth can pass through thousands, millions, or even billions of years when God stretched out the heavens while the Earth only experienced the fourth day. Perhaps you've heard of the twin paradox (it's not really a paradox) where one twin gets in a rocket and flies away near the speed of light, turns around and comes back and discovers that his twin brother is now an old man while the trip only seemed to take a day for the twin in the rocket. Same principle with the Earth and the stars. Einstein's theory of Special Relativity is indeed true and as a Christian who believes in the creation narrative in the Bible, I am really glad that it is.

Of course this can't be definitively proven, but we do know that gravity affects how fast Time progresses and thus the speed of light. The further out of our gravity well that Earth sits in, the "faster Time" progresses. We know that our satellites register Time going faster than for us. I forget the exact difference, but it's like 1 sec on Earth is matched by ~1.0000003 seconds for the satellites. How much faster is Time outside of our solar system? How much faster between the stars? Or outside the galaxies? What if......it only takes a day or so for light to travel from anywhere to anywhere? Just a fun personal theory. ;)

A far-away star may be 100 million light years from the earth NOW, but if it starts its position within the visibilty horizon, its light can still reach the earth but with very great red shift.

@Will Theaxe Depends on what you allow the word 'proof' to include. The only 'proof' of God is the collection of stories called the Bible. But, if that is the case then there is every bit as much proof that a school for wizards called Hogwarts exists. Both books contain references to real places. And there are tons of people who would swear that witchcraft is a real thing. Not me, but there is quite a large population that believe in such powers. This is not evidence though. I was raised around religion, I went to christian schools, went to sunday school, sang hymns, etc. But it just never made sense. So, I gave it up. For one thing, I could never understand why a loving god would doom his creation to hell just for not loving him. That's not how love works. Or why did this loving god flood the world to kill everyone, including sinless newborns, save one single hand picked family. For that matter the whole ark thing makes 0 sense logistically. Anyway, believe what you will, but evidence is not an ancient collection of myths written thousands of years ago, then edited down to justify the authority of popes and kings. That's just not how evidence works. There is however plenty of evidence of how religions form, and gods are created and used, by man, for many thousands of years. It continues today, and began when some imaginative person, long ago, wanted to explain why things happened. What is lightning, must be a creature I cannot see. Why did Og die last night, mush have been some creature I did not see, and left no tracks, no marks. Why did happen? Must have been a god. And when someone else wanted to control that population they tapped into their beliefs, said 'if you do this, for me, then the god of whatever will reward you'. And this continues to this day. Pray all you like, no limb has ever regrown. No child rose from the dead from their casket. I believe religion is philosophical, and personal. It should be a pursuit of truth rather than devotion to dogma and liars. For me, this led to atheism. Is it possible an all powerful being exists? Sure, in the realm of anything is possible, sure, it's possible. Is there evidence of this? No. But it is possible. Is it possible the god of the bible exists? No. Why? Because for that to be true you first have to accept the bible as the inerrant word of god, but there are mountains of errors in that book, conflicting accounts, and conflicting claims. Stories told by a perfect all powerful being would not be so confused. Was there a Jesus? Perhaps. Was he supernatural in any form? No. Again, all we have are stories without supporting evidence. Was his mother a virgin? No, wouldn't be the first time a woman told a story about how she got pregnant. People lie. This is not a new thing. Anyway, believe what you wish, just learn what evidence is and work your way toward the truth from there. These apologists exist for precisely one reason, to keep the collection plate filled. The books they sell and the videos/movies they make are all funded for this precise purpose.

  • @avi8r66

    @avi8r66

@Will Theaxe Other than the bible what is there? Or let me put this another way... If the bible did not ever exist, if you deleted all human knowledge and started over right now, would research come to the conclusion that god was real? Even if different names were used, would that same conclusion be reached? This is unknown, because there is no tangible evidence. But, we would have the same physical sciences, because those are observable, testable, and repeatable. You would have different names for everything of course, Helium might be named Fred's Favorite Gas, but the physical laws we know of today would be rediscovered. But the supernatural, while such stories would still be running around to explain the unknown for some people, would take a whole new form. Maybe it would give rise to the many gods again, a god of the sea, a god of the sun, lots of house gods, gods of the harvest and so on. And, maybe, the same evolution would happen again, maybe, where in the constant oneupsmanship humans do where 'my god is more powerful than yours', one all powerful untouchable god would be defined, but no evidence would be available, just stories. Meanwhile, science would be figuring out how things work again. And as it does the need for these gods would evaporate. You don't need to pray to the god of the harvest, just water your crops correctly and remove the weeds as you should. You don't need to pray to the god of the ocean, just learn to build better boats. You don't need to pray to the sun god, it will rise daily, and we know why. It's too easy to just go 'I don't know, so God did it', and it accomplishes nothing, and it benefits no one (except the ones passing the collection plate). God became the popular primary religion because the roman empire declared it to be so. It's that simple. The pope and the roman emperor joined forces and established that their authority came from God. The pope's first 'real' miracle was deflecting a 'barbarian horde' from getting close to rome (he paid them a pile of gold on the spot, and then a steady supply of gold for years after this). The pope, and the emperor, were direct lines to God on earth was the claim. And that set it in stone. Other nobles over time bought into this, after all, if you have the power of the pope (who commanded an army at the time) behind you, and all they controlled, it's a winning combination. Thus, the roman catholic church propagated their teachings and rule throughout all the 'civilized' world. Over time, other flavors of the religion branched off to build their own power base, and we have the many versions we have now. it's just how human greed and power work, and always has. We have evidence of this progression in the form of records of not just the church but also the emperors and kings throughout europe. Impartial records as well from various scribes just noting payments and travels of various nobles through their areas. So, other than the bible, what direct evidence of God exists? And remember, there is probably matching evidence that zeus, apollo and athena exist.

@Will Theaxe Insults? I responded to your statement, no insult in there. And now you are mixing up definitions and concepts. The ordinary person test is whether an ordinary person could be expected to understand something, like an agreement, or a law. Not as a basis of evidence. Try it sometime... "Well your honor, everyone else in traffic was going 100mph so I figured it would be ok if I did as well." That excuse will fall flat. You will still be guilty of exceeding the posted speed limit. As most parents ask their kids at some point "If everyone else walks off a cliff should you do it also?"... If unsure, the answer to that is no. Same here... Just because a belief in the supernatural is pervasive in the population does not make it accurate, or evidence, it simply means it is popular. And nothing I said in my reply to you was an insult. Science doesn't care about witnesses. Witnesses are well documented as being the worst basis of evidence. They get details wrong, they lie, they have poor memories, etc. Science requires testable evidence and experiments that can be reproduced by the impartial. It is slow, but it is reliable. It also requires an open mind, as new things are discovered occasionally it causes old beliefs to be reconsidered. But, this is a good thing for everyone involved. I appreciate you believe. I appreciate you have probably believed all your life to some degree, and likely your parents and family, community, etc. But, there is a rather large chasm between what is belief, and what is evidence. Evidence is testable, it is verifiable, and most importantly it can be tested and verified by anyone, regardless of their agenda or personal bias. Example. A person with normal vision, and a color blind person. If both are shown a color sample, the person with normal vision will identify a color, perhaps red. The color blind person will see something different. This is due to their bias. It is unintentional but their unique viewpoints, in this case due to physiology, is altering their perception. But, and this is the important part, BOTH of them could analyze that color sample with a color meter and get a color value, and both of them would get the same answer. And no, no evidence, in thousands of years now, has ever been provided to prove the existence of God. Just a lot of people looking around and giving credit to the invisible God for what they see or experience. "I don't know, therefore it must be god." This is not evidence, this is giving up. The only 'evidence' has been a collection of semi related stories edited into the form of 'the bible'. For tens of thousands of years this was the normal response to a lot of things, though they credited other gods and forces for whatever they wondered about. But, once people started wondering with a bit more depth, and most importantly writing things down, the mysteries began to unfold. We learned how to measure time, how to predict seasons, eclipses, and so on. Prayer didn't do it, study and observation, the collection of evidence and the analysis of evidence. And even today we learn new things about old ideas. It's an ongoing process.

@Will Theaxe p value is nothing more than probability. And it has no integrity of its own, its integrity is entirely based on the quality of the data you are sampling. And opinions are not evidence in science. Scientific evidence and legal evidence are very different concepts. What is considered valid in a courtroom is often discarded in science. So again, just because a story is known and popular does not make that story true. Millions believe UFOs have landed on this planet, but there is no evidence of this, so it is not considered to be true. As for proving there is no god, you cannot prove a negative. But we can disprove the validity of the claims being made in support of the god of the bible, and the claims being made by creationists, like the world being only 6,000 yrs old or the noahs ark story. We can also demonstrate the behaviors that lead to such belief systems. Meanwhile the only evidence on offer from the believers in god is a collection of conflicting stories, which they like to call inerrant.

@@ronaldariaaria1781 Completely wrong. I happen to be an aerospace engineer and I understand the physics involved. Airplanes at cruise don't gain altitude over the spherical Earth due to conservation of energy. Cruise is an equilibrium condition where Total Energy remains constant. (TE) = Potential Energy (PE) + Kinetic Energy (KE). And KE=1/2m*v^2 and PE = m*g*h. Pitch trim causes the aircraft to seek a constant air speed for the trim setting. If the pilot reduces throttle, the airplane descends. If the pilot advances the throttle, the airplane climbs. When flying over a spherical Earth in cruise conditions, as the Earth curves below the aircraft's path, it causes a slight increase in PE. Since TE is a constant, the increase in PE required an equal reduction in KE. The KE reduction causes the airplane to descend. I'd bet my next paycheck the rest of your 50 claims are equally idiotic.

Do we have any understanding/formula/insight etc, what happens with light within space that is rapidly expanding? Does it also stretch at the same rate? Kinda like drawing a line on a balloon and as you inflate balloon it stretches the line at the rate of the expansion. Even conventional science says that "Big Bang" expanded millions times faster than speed of light. If light within that expending space also stretches wouldn't that explain it? After all doesn't Bible repeatedly say that God stretched the heavens?

  • @haggismcbaggis9485

Yes, the light becomes red-shifted to the degree of the expansion. However, the universe was so dense at that point of initial expansion that light didn't propagate long distances. It was not until 370,000 years after the big bang that photon decoupling occurred and the universe was transparent enough to allow light to travel. Yet, that still does not explain the distant starlight problem as there were not stars forming until another 150 million years.

In Genesis. Separation of Waters and Heavens there is a heaven under the earth as well. Yet that does not mean we are capable of passing into it because it states there is waters below us and they are deep as well as a heart of the earth. To state hollow earth spherical, would deny that God stated earth was flat, stationary and He set the Heaven in the expanse. False scientism created spherical design but God stated otherwise.
