Why is it important to listen to the ideas of teenagers? | Vear Farsat | TEDxNishtiman
Teenagers require attention, but this isn’t always the case. A 13-year-old discusses why it is critical for teenagers to be heard since they may have crucial future ideas. Because they have not attained adulthood may be looked down on. Vear is a perfect example of teenage empowerment because she is a teenager herself, so she understands the issues they face as they enter their adolescent years. Let’s hear about teenage empowerment from the teenager herself. Vear Farsat Sofi is a bright 13-year-old girl born in Erbil. She has participated in the ‘Future investors Project Olympiads (FPO)’ and won a bronze medal. She’s gotten first place in Kurdish Olympiads speech. In her speech, she will be the younger generation’s voice by answering the question asked by most adults, ‘Why should we listen to teenagers?’. With her amazing speaking skills and confidence, this speech will be eye-opening for all adults. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
