Not with current day rockstar. Tepid lukewarm single player story and MASSIVE offline budget cuts. Then a reoccurring 40 year long online campaign catered for kindergarteners. Spiraling into not only a reflection of modern life. But a degeneration of Gen whatever come after Z. Not that I care. Moral of the story. Don't get kids. Nor a wife.

I have 0 faith that the writing will be up to the same quality as past titles. It's been a decade since GTA 5 came out and I expect many of those writers have left Rockstar Games by now. Theyve waited far too long and made way too much money off of Shark Cards to have it live up to expectations. I could be wrong, but Im not holding my breath either

@@NewCanada Frankly I agree, I would much rather have a GTA game in a city like Chicago, Philly, Huston or something, but Vice City is what we’re getting. However, if we have to return to the same city I would prefer a different take, nothing but love for GTA VC, but it had its chance and ultimately the majority of people probably want to see a new setting in the city, outside of more hardcore fans. Plus we live in crazy times, I want a social commentary on that, not a social commentary on 40 years ago, a decade most of us didn’t live through or remember.

Fleek is such a fanatic for perfection and realism that he bought a mic from the 80’s just for this video cause the game takes place in vice city.

@@NewCanada I think the only thing to suggest that is the IFruit pay on that one store door... Which is actually pretty solid proof, but well... yeah, it's set in modern day. I suppose Gta VI will just be real life simulator, since you hear so much crazy things on the news and what not. But the cars in the 80s look cool (though I've never lived in that era so I don't know if coolness was actually that common in the car world).

+10 seconds respawn time per wanted level. you can skip with subscription or paid ingame currency. we call it "health insurance". don't complain, if you die and don't want to wait you should get better at the game. cue in dynamic difficulty AI from activision.

GTA's comedy never even "punched down" in the first place, it was always a critique of Amerikan capitalism, politics and abuse. The radio in GTA3 made fun of Y2K paranoia and "End of history" optimism. VC was making fun of Reaganomics and the corruption it nurtured. SA was literally calling out how the US government and police create the conditions for the reproduction of poverty, organized crime and drug abuse in black neighborhoods. GTAIV was criticizing the US interventions in former Yugoslavia and bailing out of big banks in the recession. I don't get where these journalists get that GTA should integrate itself and tone down it's comedy and satire. Who even pays these fools?!

I agree with that as long as the gameplay is good and the world is alive and fun, and they have plenty of activities to do like hunting Gators, or better yet bring back all activities they had in San Andreas but we know that's never happening, so let's just hope Rockstar spends the next two to three years trying get all the woke s*** out the game because they know that pendulum is going to swing hard in the other direction next year .

it astounds me how many people drop to their knees over a cinematic trailer that those same people would complain about if it was any other company, yet what lays ahead looks like it could be very bad. I said it the moment I learnt about GTAVI and what Rockstar seemed to be doing with it. You just have to look at GTAV and some things they did in RDR2 and connect the dots. To me, R* clearly no longer has people with the balls to do what they used to do 20 years ago. I mean, even fucking Mortal Kombat bends it's back to "political correctness" these days, in spite of being one of the first to give the middle finger to people complaining about how "socially unacceptable" the games were and continued doing it's thing. But back to GTA, and I say that as a latino myself and don't give a damn someone calls me an "incel mysoginist" blablabla because these are mere buzzwords that no longer seem to mean what they were meant to: the fact alone that this "Lucía" chick is the main protagoinst is telling enough... I just don't give a damn and will never fall for (shallow)"representation". Also, the trailer is wacky because that's just how much they know to get normies hyped up these days. But there's nothing that guarantees that there will be a genuine intention to satirize the setting. Because we're pretty much living in it. And the kind of self righteous people who deluded themselves into thinking they get to dictate how things should be in our societies, are the same type who have taken over most western gaming companies in the last 5-10 years and make the games of today that some of us cannot bear anymore and simply feel the urge to dismiss as "just another woke bs" and then move on, like they never happened.

the driving, physics and combat were fucking atrocious in gta 4 though. Sure it was pretty to look at, at the time, but playing it was literal torture. It's more realistic in gta 5 anyway, driving an SUV and making a 45 degree turn while driving at 4 miles an hour doesn't make the SUV flip a trillion times and crash into building and explode in real life, but it does in gta 4. But who am I kidding? It's not like gta 4 fans have ever driven a car. Or went outside for that matter.

While it wasn't perfect I actually did like the car physics since it was harder with more weight instead of no weight and super arcadey and easy like 5.........but when I said physics and combat I meant the euphoria ragdoll system like he was talking about.....so before you make a whole paragraph ranting at me like you did actually read beacuse in my comment the word "vehicle" was never said 😒.......and even if I did not sure why you would be so mad about it lol 💀....besides I would prefer realistic driving over the easy ass arcadey driving, doesn't have to be like gta 4 but should be better then gta 5

@@mydude6374 gta 5 physics aren't arcadey, they are proportionately more realistic and not over-exaggerated like in gta 4. You can also very easily feel the weight between an SUV and a sports car in gta 5, while in gta 4 a bus drives identically like a banshee. Also the roads have actual grip on them, and it doesn't feel like you're driving on ice for no reason.

@user-ly2ll5od1r so again I'm not too focused on the driving physics and yes gta 5 was arcadey and easy asf to do..... ya I agree that gta 4 was a little over the top but your probably complaining about it beacuse driving in it was too hard for you or something.....it didn't feel like driving on ice either it's just that in real life brakes don't just stop you instantly like gta 5, if your driving really fast and hit your brakes your gonna skid and slide a bit depending on how fast you were going......I remember the banshee and it wasn't that heavy, your definitely just exaggerating a bit lmao......if you want simple ass driving physics that's fine, most people probably do beacuse it's super easy to do while gta 4 was a bit harder but felt more rewarding to pull off...... and again I'm not too worried about driving that much anyway I just want better combat animations and the classic euphoria physics engine instead of the downgraded and simplified versions we got in gta 5.....that's all

I already got that feeling that we're getting another Modern Audience Treatment for another beloved franchise, that will result in the game failing when customers figure out how horrible the finished product is along with equally poor writing. Then the studio will blame the customer instead of admitting they screwed up, I'm calling it now

I don’t need over the top punch down jokes to enjoy a game. I’ve always loved GTA for its craziness and endless possibilities in an open world + all the shenanigans of messing with civilians and committing crimes in the most hilarious ways. Plus, there were alot of parodies and satire, but probably not mean or brutal enough for your taste…

It looks beautiful and whacky I'll give it that. But GTA and Rockstar is another example of after years of complaining about crap like microtransactions and going woke, people will still gladly forget all that and move on like nothing happened after a small glimpse of hope. Sometimes it's good to keep a grudge and stay skeptical until release day.

I agree, even if the game comes out as broken as cyberpunk 2077, people will still play and try to lie to themselves that the game is good. Look at cyberpunk 2077 now, after cdpr fixed the game a bit(they still haven't delivered some of the things they promissed) people are saying the game is perfect and acting like nothing happened

Yup, same experience. This is the first time I've ever thought "I guess I'm too old for this game." I'm sure the graphics will be great, though theres no way they'll stay that like that in an online lobby with 2 dozen other people and their flying bikes bought with shark cards. And content wise there wasn't anything in that trailer that couldn't have been in gta 5. Edit: I'm 23 so, old but not *old* old

Don't feel bad for them. They're part of the reason for the decline in game quality. They'll be tonguing rockstars butt hole regardless of how good it is, like so many fanboys do (*cough* Bethesda *cough* starfield), rewarding mediocrity and lowering standards. Because the sheep have been conditioned well to be excited for next product. They think this is going to be the next GTA V. Most forget it took years and years after GTA V's release for it to become "The GTA V" that it is now.

I doubt Rockstar has the balls to make a real GTA game anymore.

Fleek has a healthy dose of skepticism. And I like that.

Like my father once said, way before he just gave up on modern games to focus on his Emulators: "no gameplay? no hype... never compromise." but we all know that GTA 6 will break Global Records regardless, because the people that still buy Shark Cards to this day are the target audience now.

I'm holding my breath on this one, the gaming industry has bent the knee a long time ago to a certain cult even before Hollywood did. I feel like politicians and the mainstream media are overrating Rockstar so much lol they say that the game will have things that now the current Rockstar and their corporate overlord Take Two will have the balls to do. This game will be super sanitized.

The cope I've seen for this game is beyond measure. They have no idea about the NEW "progressive" Rockstar. It's quite sad.

I mean, Rockstar tried to make likable a lady living in the FKN WILD WEST, that started hiding in a closet and overnight she turned into a "I can also do like men and I need no saving". That is how Sadie Adler, the most unnecessary character in Rockstar history was born. Now take that and make it a whole game in present day. People are actually hyping for Saints Row 2.

Rockstar has been reusing the same 3 cities for years now. They should have started making new locations by GTA 4. They have 47 more states to choose from. I also miss the period piece games like VC and SA as well.

There wasn't an HD version of Miami yet. Was going to be inevitably the next thing. Rockstar are really talented. If you want proof, look at Red Dead. Plus it isn't really old since Vice City in 2002 is 1980s. I mean this was going to happen. Liberty City got its HD treatment in '08 same for LS in '13. It was going to be the next logical step to do VC.

@@RuteFernandes-qs6pc that a damn lie GTA 3 didn't feel anything like Florida, GTA San Andreas didn't, GTA 4 didn't, and GTA 5 didn't it barely felt like San Andreas since the game have been gutted for GTA online, just from the look of it from the trailer, GTA 6 looks like one of the most authentic takes of Florida that I and most Floridians have ever seen .

There better be a whole string of missions dealing with Florida Man.

This attention to detail from GTA VI proves that Rockstar is still the best in the business and will not fall to corporate backing. I also like how GTA isn’t afraid to reflect irl events as long as they don’t take it too far

They say this game gonna cost 1Billion George Washingtons so there no way in hell that Take2 let their developers and writers run wild with this game without heavy studio interference. This will be their most safest, politically correct and formulaic game to date.
