Why I Wear a Collar |

In this video, Father Jeremiah talks about a few reasons why he wears a clergy collar outside of public worship. The clergy collar is something that sets him apart, not because he is better, but because he has a particular calling to serve God's people.
Father Jeremiah is the vicar (part time parish priest) of Grace Anglican Church in Gastonia, NC. Grace Anglican is a church that is intentionally liturgical and desires to show people the beauty of the liturgy in daily life. We want people to learn how to serve Jesus through the various vocations he has placed each of us in. These vocations are the God-given places of our lives where we can truly love and serve our neighbors. The liturgy connects to our vocations by shaping us to see and love the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in our serving those we encounter in our daily lives.
Grace Anglican is a multi-generational, growing congregation that thrives on building relationships with all those who enter her doors. We worship every Sunday at 10am at 800 Robinson Rd, Gastonia, NC. Come and visit and discover the joy of liturgical worship and being sent to love and serve in our vocations. Visit us at www.gracegastonia.com for more about our church.

So many just don't understand that the collar isn't just Catholic Faith. Glad many more collar wearers are making these videos. GOD Bless (i subbed)

Thanks so much David. Like I said at the beginning, this is a remake of one of my first videos from almost three years ago. Can’t believe I’ve been making vids for that long!

Jesus freed us from slavery to sin when he died on the cross for our sins. When we gave our lives to Christ and became baptized of his family for eternity, we surrendered all of ourselves to him and gained a relationship with. I’m no longer a slave to fear & sin. I am a child of GOD. I didn’t enter into slavery again. Slavery is by definition: you are owned. No free will. No relationship. No freedom. Jesus still allows free will when we’re part of his forever family. But when we sin against him & against others…. We can ask for Jesus’s forgiveness, he forgives us, it’s erased because of what he did on the cross, and we still are part of his family and will never die. We can no longer sin and not feel horrible for grieving Jesus and doing wrong against him because we are HIS and HE is OURS. ❤ Sensitivity of the Holy Spirit in Us & sensitivity in our RELATIONSHIP with Jesus. Adoni. Abba. Elohim. The beginning and the end. Father forever. ❤ LOVE, RESPECT, & fear of Jesus is the beginning of wisdom. It’s similar to the healthy relationship of a GOOD parent. Surrender to gain EVERYTHING.❤
