Yep, that checks. Similar experience, I was kicked from SURT due to a false accusation. Didn't matter though, my leadership sent me back, I finished, and later got my tab. It was just an annoying bump in the road.

The military is picky as hell. If you're not selecting an MOS that's in need which nobody wants, then good luck with everything else. You gotta kiss ass, have good genes, look pretty, and never say anything at all around anyone which might sound controversial.

Yes, the military is picky. That is because it can afford to be. The machine matters more than the individual person. We're all replaceable and nobody is special. If you're a little princess that wants to have your uniqueness recognized and complimented, you're in the wrong line of work. If you want to put your head down and get the job done, then do it and do it quietly.

I think the cadre just didn't like him, whatever their reasons. In both the military and civilian world, organizations have their own reasons for liking or disliking someone. They don't like you, they throw the book at you.

I thought a roll of Copenhagen was standard issue in Ranger Batt.
