Yeah all black looks nice because of the fret markers. Gold wouldn’t have looked as nice. You made the right call. Flat wound strings is where it’s at imho. Great choice. Great minds and all. 😜

I mean they sound great, they are said to play well and they look good. Also they are so inexpensive that if something happened and a drink at a gig poured beer on it or even kicked it over and broke it, you can get a new one for the same price (actually cheaper) than the harmonica I bought today. 😂

I recently got a Ktaxon which is apparently a de-branded Glarry GIB PJ bass. It was on sale at Amazon for $49; $73 delivered. About 3/4 turn on the truss, a little string height adjustment, and the action is lower than the Thunderbird I had in the 90s. It only needed a touch of intonation tweaking. The only issue I've had is a good bit of noise but only if both tone knobs are up full. And to any who worry about neck dive, it's there but minimal. I used to have a Gibson EB-O and that thing dove like Louganis.

Ktaxon is a strange company. I ordered a pbass from them and they sent me a Glarry.

I've got one of these basses but mine is highly modified and the only original piece left is the body. My Glarrys usually get modified in some manner, sometimes extensively. I have name brand guitars and basses but I play the Glarrys the most.

Glarry basses are awesome. I've done videos on them. I'm left handed and have a few of them. Glarry has decided to stop making left handed basses and has also dropped making left handed guitars. I've contacted Glarry and they have replied and don't plan to continue making left handed basses and guitar guitars.

Harley Benton still make them. But if you're looking cheap LH in the US, try Rogue.

Not a bad idea to do that..I got the Glarry blue stained jazz bass and changed out the tuners and bridge . Sounds fantastic and looks cool. It beats scratching up your expensive Axes at dive bars that almost cost a Mortgage payment!

Been thinking about one of those Glarry basses. In the past, the neck dive has turned me off, these look a bit thinner neck, any neck dive?

Yes a little. If I wear a strap that is a little grippy, I avoid the dive. So I would consider that manageable
