Thanks Kaz, much better now I can watch it without interruption. By the way I am Malaysian , living in USA. I like Malaysia..may be a little hot and humid and wishes Malaysian to be a little more puntual about time. Drives me nuts when people are late...haha. Of course the food is #1 in the world. You have to go to experience the kampung life and the villagers. So much more food that you can buy from any stalls...

Every countries have pros and cons. I like the discipline existed for people in Japan. Clean and tidy places. While in Malaysia, when it was too easy-going life, u will get lazy. Not all but most of them. Japan is one place that i want to visit one day. While Malaysia is the place where i wanna grow old with..

Yeah and i think the purpose of Malaysia's flexible work cuture was we want worker being comfortable and feel easy to do their work. We need space to think about our work so your the result will have more quality bcs we apreciate quality than quantity while working. But yeah, easy work culture like this can make some people take advantage of it for being lazy and layback. So Japan work culture have a lot benefit too.

Take the food discussion aside 😂, a very good insight from Japanese expats about & what Japanese feel about living in Malaysia. It's good to see a Japanese feeling happy & good about working here although as Malaysian we still have much to do to catch-up with Japanese. There's some pros & cons between Malaysia & Japan but there's an improvement from Malaysia side but to be honest there's still much to learn from Japan. Hopefully both countries can prosper more together insha'Allah. ✌🏻

theres pros and cons in every country, while its nice to hear foreigner give compliments, trust me there's also a lot of downside in malaysia. I think the main reason its easy for people to settle in malaysia is because we already used to different cultures and we dont judge others too much. anyone can live their own life peacefully here as long as they respect others too. I hope you will enjoy your stay here and be successful in whatever you doing.

Hi Kaz, keep up your nice videos! FYI, this restaurant not serving the normal "Nasi Lemak" that easily found everywhere, but it is more of "Nasi Kandar" but with Kedah version of it. The rice is cooked with Ghee & varieties of spices/herbs and pandan leaves. Why the name "royale", because when cooked, the rice is yellowish in color & yellow is the color representing the "Sultan/Raja"

this is more like malay version of nasi kandar... originated from kedah,. More suitable for those who prefer milder taste of spices and lil bit of sweetness. What make this version special is the rice it self. i dont know why they name their restaurant as nasi lemak, im also got confused first time back then. But i really like this version of nasi kandar more compared to typical mamak version.., it just taste preference

What would be interesting if you could provide a little "history" to the cultural potpurri that you experience in Malaysia. Nasi Kandar is food with Indian Influence or Indian infused which are much loved by Malaysians regardless of their race and religion. On the other hand, the equivalent of Nasi Kandar BUT serves only an array of traditional Malay lauk or Malay influenced/ infused food is known as Nasi Padang. Padang is a place in Sumatera Indonesia. Have fun researching on Malaysian food and culture and hope you'll uncover some history too.

Hi KAZ. For added perspective, most mamaks these days, with the exception of stalls found on roadsides will accept T&G e-wallet as payment option. During the first coronavirus wave, BNM made it a requirement for retailers to provide a form of e-wallet payment if they want to renew their business license so any retail shop that is registered with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (Companies Commission of Malaysia) will most likely offer T&G.

Been watching your vlog for a while. Here's my take. Having travelled around for work and pleasure, although many ppl don't realized this but Malaysian food in general is underrated. I can understand why some foreigners love Malaysia in sense of the food, culture, weather and the diversity here. Glad you are enjoying your stay here. Malaysia no tabemono oiishi desu... Gambatte kudasaii.. stay safe on there.

My bos previous studying and working in Japan. He always told us to work like japanese..even i think he not working as japanese..my bos always give task late on evening and hope the staff stay late at night. Most boss prefer staff stay back late doing work until night rather than staff go back on time. To me..my boss not understand time management.. Staff go back home on time..bos think that is a lazy staf..but if bos go back on time..bos said he is a family man..what the hell..??? Life is unfair..just my questions is..give task late evening and hope staf staying at night..is it japanese work culture?
