My daughter loves the salmon belly from sushi king but I think they’ve discontinued it. They say the best Japanese food is the Japanese restaurant in Equatorial hotel, but I’ve forgotten the name and the one in PJ Hilton, of which the name I’ve also forgotten. I only ate there once and it was a treat from my brother in law. Of course you’ll have to pay through your nose at these places but Aeon has a good and quite comprehensive selection.

And I loved the grilled salmon belly at Sushi King too, but yes, it has been discontinued. But I do wonder if any of these places hold up to the palette of our Japanese friends 😁

Actually, eventhough Malaysia is not a country that can offer that much nightlife, pristine tropical islands (like Philiphines, Indonesia and Thailand) ,ancient history and other tourist attraction, Malaysia is the best South East Asia country to settle in and to buy home because the 1) location right in the middle of the region, where you can go to other countries in South East Asia in short distance, 2) Safe and secured from Major natural disaster, 3) low rate of crime, 4) stable government service (im not referring to politics), 5) affordable cost of living ,6) good infrastructure ,7) can easily find variety of food (local, fusion or international cuisine) in Malaysia and off course 8)Malaysian people are open and easy to talk to and most of us are good neighbours. So, buy your home in Malaysia and you can visit other 10 South East Asia countries during your weekend. i think thats what Japanese are doing.

It’s heartwarming to see the Japanese can appreciate ramadhan bazaar. Some locals especially non Malays are very health conscious and stay away as a lot of the food is quite rich and can be fattening. But you’re still young, so enjoy!!! Enjoy your life 'slowly' here, don't rush to go home in Japan because Malaysia is also your home. I also believe in the idea of adopting another one or two countries as my home. Life is too short to settle in only one place for the rest of your life. I had lived in 2 other countries but very shortly less than 2 years each but still I'm happy that I could appreciate living in other part of the world. Immigration can be a meaningful thing to do in our life as human so do it if you can.

what is ramadhan?.. ramadhan so that we experience how the poor felt when they experience poverty and hunger... but how Malaysian do their ramadhan? yeah they fasting during the day, but feast like a king when they break their fasting. Not to mention the expensive buffett at the hotel that costing $100-300 per head. I bet during fasting month is the most wasted food through out the year in Malaysia. But blessing in disguise, during ramadhan we get to experience many type of food that not always available in other month. It just that i hope we only buy what we need and can finish it.

Hi kaz. I should go to putrajaya Bazaar. U should go before the last week of Ramadan because putrajaya is the government admin city, they will start their Hari raya leave around 26 Ramadan,by then lots of the stall at the Bazaar are closed. Putrajaya Bazaar is the best no. 1 in Malaysia because the stall is run by all of the Malaysia top chef,or very top food/restaurant brands

Yes please visit Sabah. We have the great Mount Kinabalu, the beautiful highlands of Kundasang, the amazing islands surrounding Sabah such as Sipadan Island, Mabul Islands, Mataking Islands and our large conserved rainforest which has some of the most exotic plants and animal that you can find. I live in Sabah and it's a good place to settle and spend the rest of your life with the nature.
