WHY I Homeschool My Children | My Top 4 Reasons

Hello and welcome to my channel! I'm a mom of two wonderful girls and a new homeschooler. In my first video, I go over the events that led us on our homeschooling journey, as well as top four reasons we fell in love with homeschooling. Thank you for being here with me on this journey!
WELCOME TO OUR HOMESCHOOL IN THE SUBURBS!
I'm so happy you decided to stop by my channel! I'm Nives and I'm a homeschooling mama to two girls. Sometimes modern motherhood looks like leaving the corporate world behind in order to focus on your family and to homeschool your children. I find the most peace in cooking wholesome meals for my family; walks in nature; good coffee, especially when accompanied by a good book, and the word of God. Here you'll find content on homeschooling during those early years, motherhood musings, building a foundation of faith later in life, and doing things your way, rather than the world's way. Welcome and I hope you stay! :)

Greetings from Southern California! So glad I came across your channel-I also have two daughters 5 and 2 and we’ll be homeschooling (Kindergarten) starting this year. I too plan to use the Charlotte Mason method as a guide in our homeschooling journey. I’m looking forward to follow along your journey as we start ours 😊

Love this Nives! Thank you for sharing! I'm looking forward to switching to homeschooling next year. Your second reason is one I don't hear much about but I have definitely thought it! I miss my kids when they are in school and it's weird to think they have their own life without me, their mother. Looking forward to your next videos!

@Ourhomeschoolinthesuburbs we feel really good about it! It was a lot of back and forth but now I have peace about it. I love hearing about other people's experiences as well! It always solidifies our choice haha.

i know exactly what you mean about the back and forth and the peace that comes from making the decision.my next video is actually about that very thing - the fears that often arise as we try to make or decision@@fareenaharris4386

Amazing! I have big boys and i wish i had been able to see the benefits of homeschooling and had the support of having them homeschool instead of the messed up school system. My kids with adhd certainly would had been way better for sure!

Oh I know, it’s so hard seeing how the system breaks our children. there’s really no use in going in the what ifs (we all have them as parents and I bet I’ll have them too) because you did your best with what you were able to. Honestly, I feel like in a way, my drive is not just to offer them an education that I believe is best for them, but one to redeem my own experience as a child.

Woww quel beau vidéo ma sœur . Je suis contente que tu aies pris cette décision car tu préserve l’innocence des petites et leurs fait découvrir le monde de la bonne façon. Vidéo très éducative!! Can’t wait for the next one ❤

Another reason to homeschool: travel when you want. Not just when the school takes breaks.... Better yet, you don't have to travel when everyone else is!
