Modern Feminism Duped Women | Motherhood Itself Is Enough
So much of the ideals I believed from the modern feminist movement are coming undone, and a whole new generation of women is rising up, realizing just how duped they have been by modern feminist standards in terms of womanhood and motherhood. A new generation of women are turning to God for guidance and putting their trust in God, rather than in the worldly advice of competing with men. We are turning to serving their families as opposed to corporations, we are realizing our self worth goes beyond corporatism. In this video, I speak of the problem with modern feminism and why motherhood itself IS enough. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Beautifully worded video, Nives! I've noticed in mom groups how much moms really just want to be with their children, but they follow what is normal and just accept it. On top of that, the world has made it seem like 2 parents should be working to have a double income in order to survive. And for most people that is a reality. I myself, have mostly been a SAHM but have had to work part time to help contribute financially. I'm happy I've now found something I can do that mostly allows me to be home. I hope my children will see the value in having a mom at home and carry that through when they start families!

Oh yes I’ve noticed that too. Honestly, when I first became a mom, I had the same wishes but thought it was impossible to do so I went back to work. Then I got used to the ease of two incomes and of working (as opposed to taking care of my daughter). It’s easy to get sucked into how the society has been designed and forget about our true desires. So happy for you that you get to stay home with your babies! ❤

@@NivesScott yes I think people want certain lifestyles which I understand. But motherhood is all about sacrifice. I'm happy for you that you came to this realization and are now home with your babies!!

Well said! Some controversial ideas in here, but I think we as a culture shouldn't be afraid to discuss them. Good job.

When I wanted to become a homemaker I was told by a fem inist friend "I thought you wanted more." Others said similar things more tactfully. I only got a positive response from one person besides my husband (my father). I hope young women will find this channel and others that have been popping up with similar messages and know that they aren't less for choosing differently than femini sts want us to.

I grew up hearing thin-lipped women saying things like, "Mark my words, if she carries on like that, she'll end up pushing a pram!" so I thought that motherhood must be the worst thing that could possibly happen to me. I was in my teens for the "second wave" of feminism, and was convinced that I must be "childfree" and a success at work. My son was born when I was forty, and is by far the cleverest thing I've ever done, the hardest and most rewarding. I wouldn't normally bring religion into this, but Timothy spoke sense! Bringing up a child is a chance to right the wrongs of your own upbringing. And my rights? Easy. I have the right not to be patronised and generally treated like an idiot. I have the right to be treated like a functioning, intelligent adult.
