Grimm howling into the cold crisp air was absolute perfection! He's truly living his best doggie life on Svalbard 💙 Your videos always leave me with such a sense of calm. I fall into a trance seeing the magical snow covered mountains and landscape..and the furry reindeer are truly magnificent as well. I had a White Samoyed who howled a lot. It sounded so beautiful. I hope my next dog will also howl.

Hello Cecilia. Greetings from the Philippines. I just recently stumbled upon your vlog and I am really fascinated to learn about your daily life in the beautiful, wintery paradise of Svalbard. As a person living in a tropical country, I don't think I could easily thrive there. Seeing those tons of snow are enough to make me shiver hehe. But I hope, one day I could visit there to experience The Polar Night/Midnight Sun and of course the majestic Northern Lights!

You really have breathtaking views from your house and actually everywhere you walk or drive. I have already learned so much about Svalbard, thank you for so interesting videos from you and please keep them coming! All the best to you, Christoffer and Grim.

Cody, I grew up in Waco and at 25 moved to Oregon. I hear ya on the BS that we in America have to deal with but with each of these beautiful videos from Svalbard, I always consider the trade offs of getting the occasional finger in traffic compared to a Polar Bear on your back pocket and I guess I will just stay down here. //ji

I know it's wrong and I hate myself for it... I am so jealous of your life on Svalbard. Such magnificence, and joy. I'm not saying you haven't worked very hard to get where you are today, I simply wish I was apart of the life on Svalbard. It will never be due to many obstacles. Thank you for giving me a piece of the purest and sublime part of your life. I wish I could find the words to express how grateful I am.

Every video the landscape is breathtaking. Polar bears have been my favourite animal since I was 3 years old. I have many pictures and stuff polar bears around the inside of my house. My dream vacation is to take a trip to see them one of these days. Cheers 🇨🇦

The scene and the song at the end brought up so much emotion and gratitude in me, just beautiful! And my 5 doggies were howling along with Grim, lol. If he ever visits Houston, Texas he will have a pack of friends to hang out with.

I always watch your videos when I'm up with my newborn during the night. They always make me feel so calm and peaceful 😴

Every time I see your water view, it reminds me of my dad who recently passed away. He had waterfront home in the state of Delaware and you could just look out and see the bay. It is very calming and peaceful no matter where in the world you may be. I want to give Grim a hug ❤ 😂. I wish you all the best, and I enjoy the videos when you go boating and when Christoffer cooks.

Thank you for these wonderful videos, I really found your channel and I have rewatched many of your old videos whilst feeding my daughter during the night feeds. Your channel is incredible and I’m so pleased you’re getting the recognition you deserve for these quality videos of Svalbard life🥰

So lucky that I found your channel, it gives me the opportunity to follow a little bit on what`s going on at this impressing location. I´ve been there with my wife in June 2019. Did some dog sledding on Foxfonna glacier , kayaking to and hiking at Hiorthhamn and had a walk through Bjorndalen with a guide ;-)). It all was topped by a 5 days cruise with Hurtigrutens MS Nordstjernen to Barentsburg, Pyramiden and so many arctic glaciers and fjords and fortunately polar bear observations as well. We will come back for sure sometime in March to have the colours of the pastel winter. Enjoy your life and the different seasons up there !

Such a calming way to start my day. Thank you!

Your home is soooooo cozy, and the contrast between the cold outside the window and warmth in your home is sooooo beautiful!! You inspire me to enjoy winter...

I love the mutual respect for the wildlife there, but also the understanding of the realistic nature from the gov’t for protection. The vast majority of the time there will be no issues, but it’s very realistic to be prepared for the 1% of the time.

I recently found and subscribed to your channel and I love your videos so much! The landscape is breathtaking and the way you film and edit your videos makes them so enjoyable to watch. You guys did an amazing job on the cabin extension, it’s so cozy and the VIEW omg 😍 I live in Canada and once it gets below 10C I lose all interest in going outside lol but you make winter and the polar night seem so appealing. I think what really makes your videos stand out though is that they’re not only about consumption (I do seek out and enjoy that sort of content, so no hate to anyone). I just find it very refreshing to see your videos because whether intentional or not, there seems to be more of an emphasis on being happy with what you have and where you are, as well as sharing what it’s like to live in such a unique and beautiful place. Oh and Grim is probably the cutest dog I’ve ever seen!!

I'm an very curious about that too! I used to watch this guy that was a tattoo artist lives in Australia and he has like a I think Alaskan Malamute or maybe it's a husky but it really looks miserable living in such heat. Seems like borderline abuse, certain dogs shouldn't be in certain climates you know I understand everybody doesn't feel that way but it just seems like common sense. But I always wonder like are there cats there where she is because you never see any you know?

It's amazing how dogs react to that. A friend's dog used to howl at the siren on the fire engine. I've heard wild dogs in the mountains near here howling to each other - especially at night, but sometimes during the day too.
