Great Video Kevin, Sadly here in Australia our governing body does not have the same views as the FAA. they require all external camera mounts to be fully engineered and certified for the aircraft they are mounted on.

Question: Can you list the best 5 or 10 airplanes for low/slow STOL/bush flying where the emphasis is on getting into the smallest and most awesome spots in the boonies (with emphasis on desert and mountain environments)? Also give a rough price estimate to buy fully factory assembled when possible. I prefer a 2-seat airplane with side-by-side seats, but am open to front-and-back seats if its other advantages are significant enough. I assume the airplane will be experimental, and I'm a SEL pilot, not LSA. I think I'd prefer 915iS (or 912iS if necessary if very lightweight), but I'm probably overthinking this engine issue.

The most relevant question for you before you choose ,is how much are you willing to spend

Give the camera to your kids when you fly. Division of labor. They will either learn flying or they will learn filmmaking; Win-win.

Great video. Really shows how flying low and slow feels. Question: Do you guys keep a list of GPS coordinates of places you find where you can land (with notes about possible gotchas)?

So question: how come no Maules in any of theses STOL videos? I know they're not super short like Cubs but they're not shabby, especially when lightly loaded. I guess I'm really asking because I have one and I want to play too.
