37, single mom. Good and stable but wanting a long term plan, retirement, health insurance and college for my son. I have been wanting to join since I was 31 but life had me postponing that. So many good informative videos out there, this one was the most inspiring. Hoping to be able to be in and have my son with me in this within a year. God willing.

I can say that I am in the best shape physically and mentally compared to when i joined the Army at 21. Im gonna be in selection at Lackland with guys much younger than me for sure but I have no concerns about that because I know i can provide value to those guys, based off my life and prior Army experience. Keep making quality vids like this bro.

Just a quick story from me I’m 24 . I got out of high school and immediately went to community college for one year and me personally I was wasting time and partying so I left. Had my first roommate when I was 19. I was in out working at restaurants. Till I became a baker(waking up at 2 am and working till 12 pm. When I turned 20 i know I needed a career so I self studied and got my ASEs wile working in various car shops. Started out just with tires and 4 years later I’m doing engine swaps. Doing lift kits on jeeps abs trucks. Simple oil changes and various custom stuff(I even built 2 hot rods and I go to the track and even race often; both cars on my channel). I LOVE RACING. But anyway I finally got into management this year!(only get my hands dirty when I need to). I’m going to be 25 on dec 5 and I’ve been heavily thinking about my life and how i don’t want to be a mechanic anymore and I have no more drive for exploring the automotive field like I used to (I was hustling to get where I’m now). Personally I think I’ve lived life but I want to Serve and I want to explore what’s out there. I know this is what I want and and I know the AF can teach me something I haven’t learned already. Plus my father in law works at the airport and I’ve always had dreams of working on jets. I don’t want to go through an AP school because that’s around 40 thousand. 4 to 6 years is nothing especially with all the military benefits and how much money you can save. Only thing I’m really worried about is not racing but I can put the toys away for a bit so I can achieve my goals.

@@IAW_OPSEC your story is insane at just 25 you busted your freaking balls and that is highly admirable. Also I seen “I like racing” and I was like Hell yeah! Racing runs through my blood as well, ever since I was a kid my family would race literally any and everything but yeah I’m just 20 so it’s like “why the hell are you even here” I know lmao but i am planning on joining the AirForce myself because for me personally I feel that life is a big game and by joining the military it’s like starting off with perks which allow me to not only save money but invest it into my future rather that’s through my business, stocks, or my various projects (that will one day hit the market God willing) but yeah I don’t know if you’ve joined up yet but I’d definitely go.. because I know it’ll be greatly rewarded down the road and if you play your cards right you’ll have more “toys” then you know what to do with!

Great videos man. I’m a 25 year of college graduate and know a fews guys in Air Force Special Operations. Looking into Special Missions Aviator or possibly TACP. Almost signed an army infantry/airborne contract a few months back, that 20k quickship seemed nice but just wasn’t fully committed at the time and needed to do more research with other branches. D1 athlete and double major but non-STEM and not top tier GPA so Officer is tough for me. If I go AF best believe I’m trying for Honor Grad.

I chose to enlist later in life, as I didn't join for anything monetary. Pararescue.e5@gmail.com is my email. Let me know if you have any questions. Also the Spec Ops careers are available in ANG and Reserve. Water confidence is why most people quit. Please please please make sure you are a strong swimmer. Practice technique. I wound up getting an 88 on my ASVAB but I think everybody who does something of what I recommend should be able to get a score in the 60's. Other sites are uniontestprep.com/asvab/practice-test books.google.com/books?id=JID0HK9TmGoC&printsec=frontcover&source=gbs_ge_summary_r&cad=0#v=onepage&q&f=false www.tunicak12.org/userfiles/154/my%20files/_thumbs/images/asvab%20study%20guide.pdf?id=521627 asvabpracticetestonline.com/ And even look at some GED studying stuff for more math. www.4tests.com/exam/ged/1/

Hey dude. Love the vids.. I'm currently 31 and just called a recruiters office last week. I attempted to join years ago, probably almost 8 or 9 years ago, I didn't score very high on ASVAB so I got discouraged and didn't retake. Think I got a 49.. shitty I know.. but I also know I didn't study as much as I should have.. I even got a tutor for math, but I was younger and dumber and didn't realize how serious I should have taken it. Long story short I'm married now with 1 kid of my own and 1 dependants.. I was wondering if A-you advise us living off base if possible and B- do you know of the jobs in demand? I don't want to sit around in DEP for a year or even 6 months.im ready to be an Airman. Thanks and I appreciate you taking time to fill us all in

I'm 32 and I'll be trying to join at 33. I'm just not sure whether to join enlisted or Officer. I would like a change in field into cyber because of the free training and the civilian pay is huge. But I have an Accounting degree so I don't want to miss out on the Officer position. Kinda torned between the two opportunities. I'll have to see what is available and keep resesrching. Hard decision.

I have a question I shave my head. In your opinion do you think I'll have time in BMT to do that. Or just use a clippers. To give my self a close fade? Thanks again man your videos are gold.

I'm 27. I will graduate college with a BA in History, English, and Technical Writing in about 2 weeks and I am heavily considering joining the Air Force. I'm also an Army Brat so I know what to expect as far as military life goes (my dad was in the Army 25 years, was deployed three times, and has issues with PTSD). I would have to go in enlisted at first with the possibility of becoming an officer later. However, I feel that if there's any branch to be enlisted in, it's the Air Force. I would just like to serve my country honestly. I'm thinking I would like to go into Intelligence, PR, Personnel, or IT/cyber security. Are there any other jobs you think I should look into?

Raymond Isiah I am certain the AF is where I should be, considering my life goals in the long run. In addition, creating a foundation for my family when I’m gone. I’m gonna be 27 when I enlist. I desire to earn a masters degree one day in Econ to either teach or serve the public sector once a civilian . If anything I will join and pay off my student debt while in and then finish my masters on the GI. ( I really hope that’s possible) For now, it’s getting my life together and prepare mentally physically and spiritually for this journey I’m deciding on. Thanks for the reply sir. I seriously appreciate you.
