    Stationed at Clear AFS twice. Aug '69 - Feb 71 (I extended my one year tour of duty for an additional six months). After a short stint at Nellis AFB (North Las Vegas) I. went back to Clear AFS in Oct '71 - Oct '72. Yes, you might deduce I loved my time at Clear. Please be aware, however that my time at Clear was much more 'primitive' compared to this short video. No in-room TV. No internet as it didn't exist at that time. We have the theater to watch movies. Good food in the dining room. I especially. enjoyed the remoteness of the. site.

    I grew up working around working dogs like livestock guard dogs and hunting catch dogs and blood sniffing dogs that are 100% off leash and can run 30 miles and keep searching until they find wounded animal on their own and stay there barking until I reach her. So I have plenty of experience working with dogs Obviosly not like a dog in the military. I’m wanting to get into it because it’s my passion and I want to go into the military because that goes through my family and many of my grandparents served and I just feel like it’s right. But I want to go in doing something I love and that’s dogs. I’m trying to find a proper video that will help me figure out what’s the best branch to join for being a dog handler. I don’t really even want to fight with a dog I just think searching for bomb and drugs is very cool and a great way to serve the country. And dogs are such a good partner for that. Anyway u can post a new video soon better explaining what’s required to actually become a dog handler? What’s the best branch to get into that? And just how u look at those people thank you

    Sometimes I think the line is too thin. I have a friend who is white, and he almost exclusively goes for black women or latina women. It's a little concerning the way he talks about it, since he talks shit about white women at the same time. Like it would be one thing if he was just dating women of color, and that's his thing, but to go and talk about it like "Oh man I could never imagine going back to white girls" is so cringe to me. When I ask him about it he always says its a preference... but I can't help but wonder what he really means by that. Has anyone else experienced this type of thinking before? Or is my friend cooked?

    The white church doesn't seem to have a problem, keeping masculine men. So the issue is fundamentally with how the black church relates to black men. It has nothing to do with intimacy with God.

  • @greatdane497
    @greatdane49726 күн бұрын

    As soon as I heard heard her say "alpha male" I knew she didn't know what she was talking about. Intimacy with God is not a problem for masculine men. Lying pastors, who use their positions to sleep with your wives and take your money are a problem for masculine men.

    I'm 6'5 so im speaking from a place of privilege here but it's funny to me how hard it is for people to wrap their head around why tall people are often leaders. In my experience its because im selected by those around me everywhere I go. When i walk into a room or bar (not to be brash) but everyone immediately notices and looks UP at me. Think about that, 5 seconds after entering a room you have its attention looking up at you - which means I'm you're literally looking down on everyone else. Intimidation plays a factor, but these built in subliminal factors of also play into their opinion of what they assume you can. - not my best writing i know but you get the gist. A leader is someone we look up to right? On the contrary, if a 5 foot tall leader were to need to reprimand me, from the very start im not intimidated and therefor much More likelybto be argumentative or not listen and undermining his words

    My advice is to study your butt off for the ASVAB and try to get a high score in all categories. The better you do on the ASVAB, the more options you'll have even for jobs that you might not want, you still want to be able to at least have a good pool to choose from. I scored a 98 after studying for TWO YEARS. I didn't study every day but still did so often and got as much information as I could get, I even bought one of the study books for it and read it more and more. The day I tested on the ASVAB at MEPS, I got the job I wanted in CE right when I got back to the recruiter's office. You can do anything if you just work hard enough on it and don't wish too hard for it because it might not arrive, but it COULD arrive and all you have to do is just work for it. If you can swallow that pill and be willing to just do the minimum, you will go far in life and do things you will be proud of.

    I got K9 right after tech school and served for four years thinking this would help me become a cop upon discharge. I was wrong. The word "police" is not in the title, like in military police. It's security, as in security guard. We guarded parked aircraft, missiles which never move, and ammo bunkers. We checked the same ID cards at gates for years. The job is painfully boring and had nothing to transfer to my city PD. I walked the perimeter fence at night in arctic-cold weather with a dog. It's where they dump people who flunk other tech schools. I never seen an arrest made. With all respect to those serving, don't take this crap job. You're a school crossing guard instead of a cop.
