Thanks, Paul. UK here. That was interesting. I have similar cameras to you, except the C70. I did pick-up the BMCC6K too. Timecode is an absolute must as I use a few Tentacle Sync E and Track-E units. Good stuff.

I have already preordered the Pyxis, but for those on the fence... Dan May already hinted there would be more Pyxis models coming. The preorders for the Pyxis are already insane so production demand will be very high. Now I'm hoping I actually get the camera in June!

The RED KOMODO is such a sophisticated camera. No, not in the user's understanding, but in the attachments. There are so many things you need to go to her, and even when you bought it all, it's so hard for you to put it all together. And when assembled, when everything is nearby, it takes up a huge space in a large bag that is difficult to carry and put away in the car. And one day you realize - maybe I won't take her on the set today. I'd rather take sigma fp, which you use only for photography as a hobby, and a small lens. No one will notice the difference anyway... That's why I would never trade the Blackmagic ff 6k L for a modular camera. Just take it and shoot, take it and shoot, dude. This can be said about any Sony camera.

I won’t be getting the Pyxis because it doesn’t have Z mount since I’m planning on switching to Nikon very soon. But I’m also just gona wait for the very obvious 2nd generation Pyxis is that will have NDs and maybe a flip out screen but I am not strongly against the gen 1 Pyxis. Just don’t need it.

Thanks for watching :) will see what the 2nd generation has to offer. Personally I doubt that they will implement NDs since it’s just too much of hustle to get them into that shallow L Mount to be cost effective. But will see

I think we might be doubles, you look so much like me. We even use many of the same cameras. I don't have the cool euro accent though. lol Great video! I like the style, it's so much more honest, I guess I'm getting a little over the influencer thing.

Last question (for today .. -:) Where do you think an S5iix stands compared to a C70? I know the C70 has the mini XLR interface, but the rest?

The C70 is definitely on another level. The image is just fantastic and the dynamic range is stellar. It is a proper cinema camera whereas the S5 II x is a nice hybrid camera

Since you have shot with a variety of cameras I'd be really interested to hear your thoughts on the Nikon Z9/Z8's 8k raw image and where it would stand in the line. Have you seen it? I'd be more than happy to send you a test file if you want it.

Kind of boring stuff. Thanks for what you did, but I don’t know why it’s super boring to me, anyway I like the technical camera content.
