Assalam-o-alykum Zahid, This is Kalam, I am basically MCA student and pursuing M.Tech in CSE. I remain project work and it will completed this Dec-2015. I need to study Ph.D. and JNTU, Anantapur has issued notification for admission and last date is 19/dec/2015. Can I apply for Ph.D entrance exam conducted by JNTU Anantapuramu, Anantapuramu (Dist) Andhra Pradesh as I have not completed my M.Tech. And What is the procedure for doing Ph.D in IITs Pls let me know the process/procedure to avoid delay. Thanks.

Great video! But I had to drop this point in the comments. If I were you and had all those options at my table, I'd really choose to go to the US. Although on the top tier in India, IITs are all shit (sorry for my words) on a global scale. An MIT or Harvard student always has more global recognition than an IIT one, let alone, some other Indian Institute.

I agree with you till some extent. But I love what I did. At the end I was awarded by IBM as outstanding PhD award and the beauty is choosen by a worldwide committee. So it depends how we do things. I also see people sucking their lives in MITs and Harvards :) Research papers can give you enough recognition across the glob. And PhD is a different ball game.

Sir i am pursuing M.tech 2nd years after that i want to do P.h.d from IIT . but i don't know how i prepare myself for P.h.d admission in IIT. Please help me. What i do ? I am waiting your reply.

hai i did my masters in usa but id did not do any research or publications in my masters but i want to do phd now iam currently doing a job what are my chances of getting an admission in phd in computer science

You can definitely do PhD with a research output in MS. In fact I met many students at IISc PhD interviews just came from US to see if they can get in. But its always recommended that you have some publications to show your interest and ability to document your findings.

Did u earn during PhD or only concentrated on ur thesis?
