After watching your video, you hit on something that appealed to me. I'm originally from NC (living in TX now) and I've always wanted to drive a truck, but I let my family talk me put of it. Now, I am ready for a change and to get out of my comfort zone. With the downturn of the Mortgage industry, I'm starting to look towards going into the Trucking industry. Prime is one of the companies that I'm interested in.

Did both FB and Tanker at Prime, tanker will be the easiest div of the 4. Connect 2" or 4" to main line and pop the top and try to avoid spills. Most people are scared of backing a 53" in tight places and others can't handle the physicality of FB. Hopefully anyone going into tanker will try and eat clean and implement some type of workout regimen. Reefer and Tankers are more out of shape than any other division, just an obvious observation while at Prime but that goes for most trucking companies.

You should still gain experience in knowing how to back up a trailer, 90 degree 45 degree and blind side backing are all essential in being able to do and oh don't forget GOAL... Get Out And Look!

I'm starting tanker training for that one reason alone...because I don't want have to back up a trailer on a regular basis. Why are you suggesting that it's something you still need to learn. Asking out of curiosity🤔

Get those endorsements guys, tanker is definitely worth it. I’ll probably never pull dry van/reefer

Hey girl🙋🏽‍♀️ thanks for this. I’m at RM now. So what if you don’t want to work for the company their offering? It seems like you went with Werner (in less than 6 mths maybe) and now with Prime. So how did that work out with the financial obligation and all???? THIS part of the RM experience is fking stressful. And Scott is goddam amazing I wish he was on the pad as well😆

Hey, I didn’t go with Werner I went straight to prime,, Prime offers $1500 in reimbursement and also $900 Guaranteed training pay “ With the opportunity to earn more”. So with the extra I was making I added it to the reimbursement and paid off my loan for RDM

Must depend on need. I just applied yesterday for tanker. I have 11 mths expierence in flatbed for no trainer you got to have atleast 6 mths expierence in a class A truck.-Feb 8th 2024. I'm excited and ready to start!

Hey, They have me currently training in the refer division because there wasn’t any tanker trainers available. I personally think prime is a great starter compant,, Pros is Pay while training and Cons would be 50,000 miles to complete with a trainer
