Thank you for sharing. I love your tumbler tutorials. I’ve had the same experience; I make tumblers because I love making them, then I give them away. I don’t get many special orders.

I agree as well! I make tumblers also and without special orders I have yet to have anyone reach out to buy the ones I’ve made videos on. I don’t really mark my videos as tutorials, I just love making them and the creativity! Good luck on your future endeavors

I totally understand. I have tons of blanks that are just looking at me 😂 but I honestly have been doing them for gifts and an extra change here and there so thankfully I haven’t wasted too much money and haven’t gotten back over say. Love all your tutorials no matter what they are 😊 I’m an absolute Christmas junkie 🤣🎄 keep the dollar tree things coming cause I use it to do with my seniors for crafting ❤stay blessed love 🥰

Ty so much. I will be starting Christmas soon. Did you see my Elf on the Shelf I posted last year and the year before? If not, check them out. I swore I wasn't going to do that again this year but I probably will. Lol.

Same here. I’m using the last case for gifts and I’m out. I never made any money from them bc there’s always more products or something new/trends to buy to keep up. I have gallons of resin turning yellow.. I think I’ll make big blocks like Steve McD did for weighting things down. I already made rolling trays of all kinds and they don’t sell either bc $20 in resin/glitter/pigments/decals doesn’t equal $20 in sales.. and the stores/dispensaries have to make a profit from it too. I’ve moved to alcohol ink art for a while bc I have most of the supplies.. it’s been fun & therapeutic to get away from tumblers. Thanks for sharing 🌹🌹🌹 Edit: also cancelled my glitter subscription. Sad bc that was the monthly fun thing. What to do with so much glitter😂😂

I stopped, too. I have 100 tumbler blanks that I'll end up throwing out. I enjoy making them, but I need to spend my time on things that make money.

I know the feeling. Everyone at craft shows are selling them. Last show they had 5 booths with them out of 25 total. it was crazy

Your tumblers are beautiful, I was eyeing all those behind you... it is hard to sell them anymore because everyone is making them. I mainly do them as gifts. Maybe when the prices go down a little on the cases of them I can more...

I agree!! I also make tumblers and they are really hard to sell. It's sad but everything is so expensive to make them and no one can understand that but they will pay money for a Yeti or Stanley. Just doesn't make any sense.

It’s the same in the entire craft world. My sister makes wreaths and they are basically one of a kind. She is so discouraged and just wants to clear out her inventory. I was upcycling bottles and vases everyone oohs and aaas but that’s it. Now just wondering how to deStash! 😅

Alisha I hear you girl I’ve been a long time watcher of yours! And people are selling sublimation for 1/2 the cost of what we can make them and sublimation is literally like a water slide on a plain tumbler but we make real peak a boo tumblers that take time to make

It's just not worth it anymore. I still enjoy making them but I have to slow down. Too time consuming and not cost effective.

I just sold my tumbler press due to the over saturation in the market.
