Why I abandoned my children to seek better life in Libya | Legit TV

Support Legit.ng via the link: corp.legit.ng/support-legit After the demise of her husband, life became hard for Justin Enofe, so she decided to 'seek help' for a better life in Italy via the much talked about Libya route.
In this interview with Legit tv, Justin, a mother of two, revealed that most people get deceived into traveling to Europe through Libya, with the promise that it is very safe for them and that they'd arrive in less than two weeks.
She categorically stated that the survival chances of anyone who travels via that route are 30%, and the chances of dying on the road is 70%.

Thank you very much Legit tv. You are doing a very good job. You are creating good awareness, but please, is there any way that this can be shown on national television. I know many were deceived, but many of our people have heard about this dangerous journey and they went ahead. Not many people have access to internet. But if this can go on national television, then, those ones that are tricked will know their strategies, like: I have a hair dressing work for you in Libya. I'll get a cashier work for you in a supermarket, in Italy. I'll take you to Egypt to buy stuff. I'll take you to America through land border. There is a hair dressing work in France(meanwhile you don't speak French). It's time for we Nigerians to be wise.

You see our problem, she did not do research in how difficult it is to survive the Sahara. Italy itself has no future for her as she has no skills they need, they have enough people cleaning toilets and doing other unskilled jobs. The information is readily available on the net with many stories such as hers, please don't listen to traffickers and their promises of work in Italy, they just want your money. On top of that your own Nigerians will be selling you to the Arabs. Anyway, it seems she is at least eating well so hopefully her circumstances have improved with her and her daughters. I hope she is doing better now.

everybody that speaks about their experience in this desert journey talks as if they are victims... but that is a lie.. they all made up their minds to go for the journey to help the miserable life nigerian government has given to the citizens.. but everybody should own up the responsibility for making that decision of traveling to europe by road through the desert.. and treacherous arabians..

So sorry my sister. Nigeria leaves people with very little options. Its hard to imagine people will be discouraged when they can't see a way out. And people always rationalise that their story will be different. So much in Nigeria needs to be changed until then we are inslaved in our own country and treated like slaves in many others.

Please stop with the false narrative. The same Nigeria are full Lebanese, Indians, Pakistani, Chinese, African countries, Dutch and other white people grabbing opportunities and making big business. Stop the victimhood. The problem is our people are too greedy. They're never contented with what they have. They don't believe in hard work, they love cutting corners and outrightly believing instant miracle of prosperity. That's who we are. We need to overhaul that mindset.

Hello Damilola, please regarding all your interview with the Libya Returnee thousands of people want to support these people around the world why not put their bank account Nr and their personal number to enable those people who want to help them......please always try and read your tube comments.......you will ask them what type of work or business they will like to do....but you will never put their bank account or contact no......So why interviewing them when you dont want people to help them.
