Alex O Hollywood is a dark, dark place and nobody should ever get into it. There’s so much depraved and nihilistic shit that the celebs do.

She is so beautiful and talented, she needs a better agent if she really wants to make it in Hollywood. None of these points are a deal breaker for Hollywood studios. she can still be a big movie star.

That's the thing, she doesn't want to be a big star. She did enough of that kind of work to realize that it's honestly not as effective as just doing charity work and outreach while doing parts in series that you love and can connect with.

Tru Calling was the SHIIIIIIIT. When she had to switch roles and makes sure that one girl's death happened and looked like an accident for the insurance money?

I grew up near Boston and my mom is great friends with Judy, her mother. Eliza is just as sweet, caring, concerned and ready-to-help as her charity work shows in real life. They are both doing so much good in the world and I applaud them!

You got this wrong you mean why Eliza wont cast Holywood...

She is my idol and she doesn't need big Hollywood movies, whatever makes her happy is what matters in her career. I love her so much and support everything she does! Screw Hollywood for missing this star

OMG!!! She's so inspirational!! Did charity work on her own, with no camera's on, just did it on her personal time and for the greater good of other's, not for ratings! She is more amazing than i thought!! I will forever miss her as Faith and Tru!

Eliza is an excellent actress who comes across with a lot of confidence. I think you will see her in many productions in the future.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a classic and is still one of the most popular and well loved shows ever. Eliza's character Faith is a staple character (even though she wasn't a regular.) and impacted the show greatly. She had the best character out of the whole show in my opinion and playing a complex character like Faith, shows of her true talent. Faith was psychotic and dangerous, to capture that just like Eliza did takes talent... and believe me she's got it! She needs to be given the option to be in a huge movie! (The character Mia in the Fast and Furious franchise was actually written specifically for Eliza....) Buffy wouldn't of been the same without her.

Because she is stereotyped by Hollywood. She is beautiful woman but she has that dark side and toughness she portrays in most roles she ever took up on. She wind up being stereotyped by Hollywood. Basically she can't play dumb geeky blonde in their eyes which I think good actor could play any role. She just never been given a chance by Hollywood moment she got stereotyped in roles she plays. Sad but I believe it's true.

Eliza is a woman who just looks better with age. She was pretty before but on CBS - Bull she is just gorgeous!

She will always be "faith" to me and I'm gutted she never got her own spin off, even for one series to look at her origin story or post Sunnydale life. (Yes I am aware there are comics) But ultimately I think she'd fit into the MCU as a hero or heck I think she'd even make a good Harley Quinn.

FrakkinToaster Luvva Faith was psycho in BTVS, who tried to kill all of them with no reason and even when she was good she acted like a stereotype of a high school bad girl. Angel was annoying in btvs , only was there to be saved by the girl and less expressive than a Twilight vampire. And Wes was all the time screwing things up . They were far more better in the other show

Ennone Did you even watch seasons 3 and 4 of Buffy?!! Faith was anything but a stereotype. She was a great, complex character with a great arc. And she got most of her character development on Buffy - she was the exact same character on Angel, and her arc happened to cross over through both shows. It just happened that the two episodes where she turned things around were on Angel, but that was just a continuation of what came on Buffy. (And then she came back redeemed in season 4 of Angel and season 7 of Buffy.) And don't even mention Twilight in the same breath as Buffy!

That was a good show indeed but you know joss whedon just knows his stuff.

I've been a fan of Eliza since she stole the show on Buffy back in the day (and had a huge crush on her ever since, but that's beside the point). I definitely agree that she was typecast though, as she pretty much always got the "tough chick" roles. One of the reasons I was so excited for Dollhouse was that I thought it would give her a chance to showcase a whole lot more acting range... but sadly the show just didn't live up to its potential. Glad to hear she has a lot of other things going on in life and hasn't fallen on hard times even though she's not at the height of her fame right now.

Come on!... Eliza Dushku also did an amazing tv serie named TRU CALLING and for sure was a really good one. Her movies as well were so great.

Eliza should've taken that Faith spin off role. The buffyverse would've loved a show unraveling Faith and how she became the way she is. She's such a babe. Was obsessed with her as a teen. Faith is my bae.

Check out the movie "That Night" starring Eliza when she was just a kid. Very good movie.

She was just announced as the newest cast member of the show Bull on CBS

In Dollhouse alone she played about 25 different roles if you're honest, since her character was imprinted with very different personalities each episode. So I'd say it's mostly her own choice, really.

We love you, Eliza. Please come back! There are many mature roles that could use your acting prowess. Indeed, you could take on an action hero role too, somewhat in the vein of a female Indiana Jones kind of character. Or you could tackle the role of the 'bad guy.' As the world inches closer to a post-COVID-19 era I think that many former Hollywood celebrities might want to give acting another attempt. A lot has happened during these last few years and I want to believe that many fully capable stars would want to exercise their talents again after being cooped up during the pandemic.

Hello? Tru Calling not mentioned (which happened immediately after Buffy). She was in 27 episodes of that and Dollhouse as the lead character, compared to only 20 as a supporting character in Buffy. These "won't cast" videos are lame if they continue to work year after year.

I find her super attractive and talented, it's sad how sometimes people who deserve attention don't get it because it's not meant to be. i will never understand hollywood standards though
