The median length for a marriage in the US today is 11 years with 90% of all divorces being settled out of court.

So let me get this straight: 1. Relationships used to be so much healthier with a more patriarchal society because people knew what was expected of them in relationships and people tended to obey some common rules of courtship. 2. Our modern, technology-addicted, socially-disconnected, unhealthy society severely harms the health and well-being of people's relationships.

Yeah...so she didn't say patriarchal societies were healthier, she said it was easier in the sense that people understood their roles. If you listen to her podcast she is definitely not a proponent of patriarchal values.

No, if you watch many other TED talks of hers you will hear her say a lot more about this. She states that feminism, not the crazy over the top feminism, is not the problem. The issue is that women must bring the men along with them. We have forgotten to include men on this journey.

Shes indirectly telling you that you are too stupid to know how you want to live. And that she and her friends, who think they are all knowing, will force your love life and your medicine so that you will be productive. For who? Shes insane.
