We been feeding cooked red meat and chicken and water and she's thriving. She is going on 16 now. I laugh when the vet said to us they can't live on meat alone. Guess who got fired! New vet even gets it. Society is stuck in the past as is the medical teachings which is terrible. Why you think they want to get rid of social media and the likes of tik tok? BTW I'm 54 and trust more of the people I watch than any doctor who debates myself. I went thru 6 doctors till I got one finally who is a carnivore and she is soon going to be leaving because they are threatening to let her go because she won't just push meds first. They found out she was telling people to try carnivore first. I have all the proof I need now.

We've eaten seasonal veg & meat for millennia. We're omnivores. And we're omnivores because we're sophisticated adaptive & survivors able to live anywhere on the globe. And there's no proof we're just carnivores. It's a hypothesis meshed with belief.

Stable isotope testing proves that evolutionarily, we were hyper-carnivores. We are opportunistic omnivores. There isn't much veg to be had during an ice-age, or in northern climates where some berries and fruits would be "in season" a few weeks out of a year. None to be had at all above artic circles. So the lady in this video is spot on. We can survive if we eat veggies, but we've evolved eating mostly meat, and lots of it.

Great! I guess I'm a "ketovore" but leaning more towards carnivore. But my question is, if humans are truly just carnivores, why do we also have flat teeth for grinding? My dogs and cats don't have flat teeth. Perhaps it's because we have longer digestive tracks and need to "pre digest" our food by chewing/ masticating? Curious. Thanks 👍

@@Teal_Seal I think that everyone is different. Some people are fortunate enough to be able to eat a very varied diet with no repercussions and that's great for them. Then at the other end of the spectrum you have the likes of me who after many years of eating what was supposed to be a healthy diet (fresh vegetables, home cooked meals, very limited takeaways [no McDonald's, just the occasional Chinese or curry]) end up totally intolerant of any carbs or sugar at all. So, I can no longer 'do' grains or anything, but completely understand that others can. What I cannot get on board with are the vegans who insist on lecturing everyone on how we "must" give up our evil diets because veganism will be healthier for us and eating meat is unethical.

Bc I fed my dogs grain free top of the line food (acana brand) and my Olde English Bulldogge, who was 11 1/2 and in very good shape I thought, had heart failure and the vet had in the notes that grains aide in heart health somewhat. So completely grain free in dogs I don’t know for sure is the best. The vet was extremely credible as well, my dogs are well cared for and it crushed me I may have fed him food than wasn’t perfect for his organs. His muscle and body were awesome I thought for his age but in hindsight looking at pictures he was looking very old. Take that for what it is, no expert. We had all good years, I found out he was in heart failure 3 days before he past. And we walked a lot, I never suspected his heart was hurting, beyond him being 11 1/2 he didnt show any signs.

It's not just the processed food though, modern farming practices have stripped the nutrients from the soil, then is artificially added back in with NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus & Potassium) rather than naturally fortifying it with animal fertiliser. Additionally, modern day fruits and veggies also bear almost no resemblance to their predecessors, they have been so modified to be sweeter it is unnatural. Then in addition to all of that you have also the chemicals sprayed on the fruits and vegetables.

Someone could eat strict carnivore and randomly die one day to another cause of death. Someone else could eat junk occasionally and live to 105. And I do believe dogs are carnivores. Yet my boxer/rott mutt is 15 this year. Always been fed grain based food everyday and has never had any negative conditions. Bad hips once he got to 13. But nothing else. Moral of the story: EAT MORE MEAT. Some people, go carnivore. Some people, eat some fruit. Some people, eat some junk. Enjoy your one life. Only God knows when your time is up. Don’t give yourself too hard of a time.

Flexing ignorance of history is a thing on the carnivore side now too, I guess. Carnivores and Vegans have met in the middle with their lack of knowledge. FYI Grains were not a "pEaSaNT fOoD", they were a staple food that everyone ate. You differentiated your class based on the type of bread you ate. The whiter (more processed) the bread you ate the richer or higher status you were. That's right, white bread was a literal status symbol. Heck, scroll up and copy/paste "the importance of bread in ancient Egypt" into the search bar. Don't lie, it makes you no better than a vegan.

Grains, cultivated in just the past 10,000 years of himan history, does not constitute "evolution"... it's less than 1% of human evolutionary history. Grains in quantity weren't farmed or eaten as a major staple until large civilizations developed centralized grain storage of surplus. The hybridization of grains, particularly since WWII, have so altered contemporary grains on the market as to contain protein chains we did not evolve to digest. Either the book Grain Brain or Wheat Belly go into the scientific agricultural history of grain production, the primary hybrids' genetic composition, and explain why we are having such extreme health impacts from these franken-foods. The damage was done before GMOs... but the major health problems of sensitivity & intolerance -- mimicking celiac -- didn't occur until the USDA greenlit the spraying of ripening finishing wheat with glyphosate just before harvest. Nevertheless, through this history with grains, it is true that those who had higher status/economic power ate less of them and those poorer ate more. And the less desirable the vegetable, the more likely it was a mainstay of a peasant diet. (Starches vs greens) The aristocracy saw nothing wrong with expendable "dumb animals" without education or refinement -- just human beasts of labor farming for their right to have a place to live on the manor -- eating slops. This is why the era of the Enclosures is infamous in history... the serfs & yeomen could no longer hunt or fish in the wilds of the king & nobility to supplement their nutrient-poor diets. Just in time for the coming Industrial Revolution, peasants had to leave the countryside en masse... they didn't just stay & decide to become vegans. lol

Humans evolved as omnivores, period, end of story. Our dentition, digestive tract and the paleoarchaeological record make it abundantly clear. Assays of ancient teeth show that humans regularly consumed grains all the way back to Neanderthals. Just because meat is the most nutrient dense and therefore most preferred food source for humans, it doesn't logically follow that we're carnivores. The problem with grains is that the Standard American Diet makes them the primary food source when that's not natural for us, but again, it doesn't logically follow that grains aren't a food source for humans at all.

Look humans are omnivores. However we are meat dominant omnivores. At a minimum we probably should be 70-80% meat based and it's probably better to be more like 90% or more. The only plant foods we really should eat are some nuts and seeds, in season fruit and maybe some in season vegetables. Grains and anything made from them are just filler we really can't handle well. I am not saying that there is anything wrong going full carnivore but if we are talking historically that is not how humans ate as there was always some amount of plant foods in every cultures diets, but often minimal and seasonal.

Grains literally created civilisation. The problem isn’t grains, it’s the ultra processed ‘pre digested’ foods that are mostly made with grains.

Grains did not create civilization. The mostly carnivore hunter gatherers created civilization.

@@TyrianHazenope. Harvesting grains, mass agriculture, storing them, created civilization as we know it. I do believe, as many others do, that eating meat played a crucial role in the development of the human brain, as our brains have immense caloric requirements. But it's pretty irrefutable that civilization was built on agriculture.

@@mwbeck It is not irrefutable that civilization was built on agriculture. There are theories that civilization was built on agriculture, but there are also theories that say otherwise. Look into gobleki tepe. Also, a lot of the theories that people are taught are based on humanity being stuck in the stone age for hundreds of thousands(or millions) of years before the ice age, and then suddenly agriculture led to civilization. They are silly theories that ignore most signs of human settlement being scraped off the face of the earth by glaciers.

@@TyrianHaze You’re just wrong man grains let into agriculture which led to civilisation, the whole point of early civilisation is that you stay in one place for a long time to grow your crops (which would have been most likely grain at the time) instead of travelling around following herds of animals.

@@obeyobay9146 You can keep reading the same lines we have all read in k-12 text books, or you can do your own research and look into these things and come to your own conclusion. I am just telling you what I see to be the truth based on my own research. At the end of the day these are all just theories and speculation about shit that took place 12k years ago after the end of the last ice age. For all we know civilization predates the ice age, but we will never know what existed before that because large swathes of the planet were buried below a mile of ice.

The plants today are not the plants from the ancient times. Jesus sent a clear message in the bible saying: "The bread is my body!". Then why are we gorging on "bread"? Isn't it disrespectful? We're supposed to respect and save this resource for the hard times when there's nothing else to eat for survival. Until then cherish the body you got from God save the "bread" and eat the meat of the animals.
