    i haven’t had a problem with my azodin blitz but that doesn’t mean it’s not T R A S H. it is very trash and i wouldn’t recommend, ESPECIALLY if you’re a beginner.

    The first semi-auto paintball marker I ever got when I first started playing paintball YEARS ago was a Brass Eagle Avenger from Walmart (was a gift from my cousin, uncle, an aunt). It was a upgrade from the cheap $30 pump gun I had. Well I ran that brass eagle avenger for a good 5+ years before the air line got bent. Couldn't fix it because the airline was made a certain way and no replacement parts. I took care of your stuff no matter how cheap it is than it should last a long time.

    Depends on the type of crap. I'm a big fan of the azodin STBB guns for the price they want and the new tech they put in them. That balanced valve is a big upgrade that got rid of the ”hard on paint" issue. Deffentialy agree on the goggles. At the least, get something with a dual-pane thermal lense. Deffentialy agree with the tank and hopper. Get the best ones from the get go and think about buying new gun last. Because you will be using that tank and hopper on every gun you have.

    I'm a Spyder/STBB fan myself. Easy to fix when they break and the old school high end ones usually had some serious high end stuff for them. Rocker trigger being a notable one. adjustable LPR similar to Azodins Zero system. And they're all pretty easy to get your hands on. Nobody knows what they're worth and how good they are unless they've actually used a good tuned STBB before.

    Ive been using mine for 18 years. It's a great marker. I left mine in a rubbermaid for 10 of those years with paintball shit still on it. By the time i picked it back up, the paint peeled right off to bare metal 😆 and it was cocked back(probably from moving) for who knows how long. I gave it a new paintjob and hammer spring after two games bc the fps was dying fast. Also not needing to worry about the hopper is dope. You did good. 👍

    Man, I remember Black Draguns. They were awesome just because they were the first electro under $600. Seriously. There was nothing else. There were Draguns, then Impulses and Bushmasters. And those were $600+. They even predated eSpyders. But yeah, other than that, they're probably garbage. I never shot one. By the time I had enough money for one, Kingman was making egrips for Spyders, and I bought that. Lol.

    I don't know about electronic paintball guns. But with penumatic ones, as long as it functions I consider it a good gun. I've squad wiped half a team with a rental who's ballistics suck. Buy a tippmann 98/a5 or spyder. Those are my two favorite brands. I've only replaced o rings after buying the guns used.

    I love your vids but honestly I used to own and azodin blitz 3, I used it for a little over a year and never had any problems or had to change anything. Instead I had a cheap gun that was easy to maintain and a good as a starter gun to get in paintball and try out speed ball. After a litle over a year of playing with it, I switched to a mini gs. That gun gave me many problems and always had something wrong with it after just a month or 3. Eventually i sold that gun, saved up some money and bought myself a proto ryze. Its a huge improvement over the azodin gun but i still honestly have no hate for azodin blitz 3. In my situation, I couldn't afford anything except for that price range or lower. Anyways I love your videos, keep it up, you have a big impact on the paintball community.

    Cons of the azodin blitz 3: Very load, not air efficient(could buy the azodin zero operating system to make it more air efficient), and cant shoot soft paint or you will have brakes( i used to use 1 star GI sports paint on it and it wont have breaks). Pros: price, easy to maintain, can last you a long time if maintained properly, and decent bps(probably around 12 or a bit more bps).

    To the 98 custom route I agree. I got an Azodin blitz evo and I had to send it back twice before I got a good one. “But what about speedballing?” I dropped a ape rampage board in my 98 custom ACT and I get a consistent 20 bps, if any higher there is a larger risk of chopping but my gun can cycle that fast. Note that I use a dye rotor as my feed system, so feeding isn’t an issue.

    I actually had a black dragun back in like 2000 lol. I think i payed about 150 too.Worked fine with me...... till I walked the trigger. The electric trigger was a blender. But it used co2 unlike the better guns. My brother still uses a bruiser fugitive. My dad, wife and many others I play with use 98s. I personally have a few.

    I get what he is saying here, and I haven't played in years, but in my experience it was always the high end guns that went down on the field. Never had trouble with my first Tippmann or seen an old Kingman spider break in game, but I have had trouble with most of my higher end markers. Autocockers you had to tune just right, Intimidators that were just blenders past 10bs, freestyles that sprung leaks every week, multiple PL sft shockers with issues and almost always first shot drop off. These were all top tier guns at the time. The most reliable high end guns I had were the Dye matrixes starting with the DM4 (the DM 3 had so many issues they just sent me a DM4 instead). Expensive guns just are not the most reliable, they may be the best performers, but usually they are full of extra features and if any of those features have a problem you cant play.

    Dont let the flashing text distract you from the fact that "garbage gear" or "budget gear" is more affordable for most people. But he's also correct, if you're SERIOUS about paintball, please save your money, you will have much more fun with a Mini, or an Axe 2.0

    I couldn't agree more. Why cause a new crappy gun to be built when you can buy an old Tippman 98 for like $50 and when you're done with it you can sell it on to the next noob and get your $50 back where as the super cheap stuff will just be in the scrap bin. The world doesn't need to manufacture more crapola! That goes for paintball guns and almost everything else, really.

    I've had a tippmann 98 custom for 17 years, the only thing I've ever had to do was change orings. However you gotta admit paintball has become blatantly consumerism driven. No way any hopper is worth $200, or any marker more than $1200. only thing that has gotten cheaper over time was a case of good paint......

    That's one part about this sport that's annoyed me: so many people are out there on the fields with guns that cost over a grand and here I am still able to win duels against them with my modified Cronus. To me any gun that costs over $600 is either not worth it or needs serious consideration before getting it. I plan on getting a First Strike T15 soon, but I put a LOT of time and thought into which mag fed marker I wanted to get (I knew from the get-go that my second marker was going to be a mag fed one because I've been wanting to do it for years) before coming to a decision.

    question if i get a electric hopper and i have lets say a tip man would it make it shoot faster or does the mechanics on the gun keep it from shooting super fast?

  • @electricbullshark765

    @electricbullshark765

    3 ай бұрын

    Fire rate depends on how fast you can pull the trigger in a mechanical marker. The hopper will just feed the ball as fast as you can pull it instead of the gravity fed hopper occasionaly not feeding.

    I have a low budget because idk if I’m going to enjoy paintball but I’m looking into the spyder victor that is 160 with a mask and gloves and vest do u think that it ok or save up more???

  • @Brian-ex3mi

    @Brian-ex3mi

    For $160 you are looking at the wrong place my friend, ANS has a COMPLETE starter kit with the victor that includes the marker, mask, tank, hopper and pod pack for $140. This would be a bare basic beginner kit, very little frill but still get you in the game. You could also do the Tippmann Cronus kit on ANS for $165 with the same things but with a more current marker and with a bit more customer support from the manufacture. I personally have and like Azodin markers, they function the same as the spyder markers and have excellent customer service if you have any questions or concerns. I have contacted them on multiple occasions for when I picked up mistreated equipment and they always get back to me quickly and with the answer I need. ANS also has a nice starter kit with the Azodin Kaos 2 with everything you will need for $175. It will be a much better option than the Victor you originally pointed out. Mind you, if you want more "performance" then yes you could save up for a better setup. But if you aren't sure if you will like the sport, I suggest renting or borrowing a few times. No need to drop a few hundred into equipment, admission and paintballs to find out if it isn't for you.
