Yeah the original for the PS1 was crazy. It took up like 13 out of the 15 memory card slots and freaked out parents because you're literally working for the Devil in that one. I would look into them Noble. They are crazy and fun.

My god you have solved a mystery in my brain that I could not for the life of me figure out what it was called for years now. I've only played it on a demo disc for playstation and couldn't find that disc anymore. Making it hard to remember. Thank you.

I don’t know if Noble has ever seen Battlebots before, but a 250lb robot that was built purely to flip it’s opponents is scary and devastating.

Battle bots still has some scary bots. I think someone did an 8 lb bot that moved from spinning a lawn mower blade. When that on got launched it shattered 2 layers of the bulletproof glass.

Lets be honest: Most of us have disqualifying characteristic in one category or another. Maybe Darwin hit you with the ugly stick, maybe you have some defect in your personality, maybe you are a worn down wage slave for Walmart or somewhere like that, maybe you just are into something enough that it would weird a potential partner out. If someone has to be crazy to want you then, hey, at least some people are crazy. It helps the formation of a fantasy.

ff7r does a perfect baiting. You're in a train graveyard, and you have 2 paths, one of which is the obvious way forward. The other, after a minute or so, leads to a box. What's in the box? 1gil. And then the ghost children haunting the place literally laugh at you as they spray paint "WRONG WAY" all over the wall behind you. never been called out for the gamer instinct so hard before

I feel great pain for the player who missed the rope swing. AC4 was janky sometimes.

Another appeal of Juri? When she was introduced in SF4 one of her likes was "big breast"....yeah it's been taken out of her likes since then but people still remember...and the people in her SF6 story and pictures she has the closest connections with? 3:54 The reason why RTS got mostly phased out of AAA gaming is because it's both very hard to monetize the same way you can an FPS title, and because it takes a lot more resources to develop an RTS title into a state where you can put it out to the masses without getting sued.

What if the problem is that they want to invest more than would be needed, in hopes of somehow attracting more people be it through heavy marketing or excessive graphics only to be met by what is a limited crowed that already exists? By that point either increase population or lower costs to something manageable I think.

The best (worst) sympathetic pain moment ever was not even about the pain, but about the anticipation of pain: the balance beam scene from whichever one of the Final Destination movies it was. Second place is probably in the final fight of The Night Comes for Us when the guy kicks the pillar with his shin.

4:01 from my understanding is it was a combination of major series in the genre failing and the fact that after fps shooters became a thing they became niche.

Next for Command&Conquer series will be Renegade at least. I think also the problem of EA want to make mobile games to get more profits.

What happened to RTS games? publishers stopped letting devs make games aimed at older gamers, they decided to appeal to the younger crowd who generally don't enjoy RTS games as opposed to FPS games and the like, but we do have 4x Strategy games ...

I feel like turn based strategy games never quite lost popularity like real time strategy games did, probably because you have a lot of time to decide what to do on your turn and they are easier to play for newcomers as a result where as an RTS needs you to be able to think and act on your feet quickly in order to get the upper hand and win or get absolutely rinsed for failing to do so.

That anime trap game Reminds me of the game Trapt. It was a ps2 game where you played as a cursed noblewoman who had the ability to summon traps through out a set area. You couldn't fight yourself and actually had to rely on your careful planning to win the various stages.

Seeing Link sailing on the seas in Wind Waker just gave me an idea...What if a DCL or Expansion for Tears of the Kingdom (or BOTW 3) saw link just sailing out away from Hyrule? Explore a completely new world, a new enemy, new Enemies, new characters (Zelda might come with) and just let the devs go wild and leave the norm of Hyrule. They were always limited in their creativity because it had to have similarities to Hyrule, maybe the temples, the rulers, the triforce itself, just abandon all of that, allow the developers aswell as the players experience the joy of completely new discoveries again, no more "oh look, it's death mountain" and instead "What the hell is that, and how do i get to it??"

Arguably, Darth Maul killing child Anakin couldn't have reasonably made the galaxy worse off, and most likely made things better.

Red Alert 2 and Generals are far better simply because they're not hyper competitive games with economy systems that punish people doing either fun yet stupid builds or inefficient use of resources. I honestly have to say I don't like the Warcraft or Starcraft style of RTS, I prefer the Command and Conquer style where I'm NOT punished for taking an upgrade or not taking an upgrade at some arbitrary point in a match. I prefer the Supreme Commander style where I can have massive armies and can just send endless waves of units at my enemies. Also, if Tempest Rising is anything to go by the Spirit of Command and Conquer is once again upon the RTS genre.

sad thing is disney was given 100's of different stories by buying the rights to star wars they just refuse to use them cause ruining what's already out is a better idea apparently RIP eragon, artemis fowl and many other movies that had amazing books only for the movies to be something my dog creates 10 hours after eating.

sadly most of those popular games died out because the studios that made them got bought out by larger companies that then forced them to make bad games that ruined the studios reputations at which point the companies sold off the studios piece by piece then just sat on the game IPs so no one else could make them. I'd love a new Command and Concur but the company that owns the rights won't make one because they can't monetize it with micro transactions.

The scene of where the traps slowly activate apon button press or when a certain area is passive triggered one I remember you got to have an opponent get hit into a certain area then gets caught by a pre placed one trap.
