I’ve been saying for years that drake is the greatest actor of our generation. He’s convinced a whole fan base of people he’s actually hood and about the beefs and he’ll take someone’s life when we all know he’s not like that. Kendrick and jcole may not do the numbers drake does or the same level of stadium tours but Cole and dot will always get the more respect and have the upper hand as far as pure hip hop artists because of the lives they’ve had and the way they came up does matter when you’re talking about the better artist. If drake kept it real and just said he ain’t a thug and he came up from being broke but not being in the project selling drugs and gang banging to survive everyone would respect and love drake but it seems like now people are starting to think the persona is silly.
