Kendrick did a good job but with the ammunition Kendrick had against drake, almost any random person off the street would have won that battle against him. He didn’t even have to rhyme PDF File with anything, just simply say it and you win. It’s the worst thing you can call a person. Without those allegations, nobody would care about Not like Us. Euphoria is great but wouldn’t have affected his career much. I don’t think most people ever cared about Drake being a poser, or appropriator. In fairness to Drake he’s not a PDF file based on what that word actually means, but that word carries the heaviest weight and it’s his fault for his actions that lead everyone to call him that. Now he’s in a position where he can’t defend his character, nor can anyone else. Those who sympathize with him will pretend they dont out of fear of backlash. His career would be better off had he literally killed someone instead.

If you’re willing to accept defeat in a competition that you know you can’t possibly win, it means you’ve finally realised that you’re not unbeatable, Nor are you high powered. There will always be someone out there to best you at something. Instead of envy, you should always be joyful and glad for their success. IF Drakes downfall is yet to come, I only hope he doesn’t see it as a bad thing. After all, struggle is one of the most important things to have in life. The reason it should always be considered a good thing is because It is an opportunity to find a different path that will not only help change someone’s perspective, but a path in which that person can be more that what he (or she) used to be in the past. Unless that person wishes to remain broken and lost in the darkness, dwelling on miserable failures (The Past)

He's got a lot of money n influence. Not unless he's been making/distributing child porn, or something. Also being a pedo means someone has an attraction to underage people, which Drake clearly does. Whether he's guilty of statutory rape, and there's enough evidence to put him in jail despite his wealth/influence is a different matter. One thing that can't be argued is he's an absolute creep.

I disagree about the Cole part. He has said before that he wants to compete on the same song as these rappers instead of going to beef with dudes he doesn't actually have any personal issues with. I still think he will very much share those sentiments

As a Massive K dot fan and a Drake hater from Toronto, I will tell you why Drake won’t go away (entirely)… yet He has 2 fan bases, and it’s the ladies who like his singing songs about heartbreaks and relationships. There’s too many of them and they will continue to support Drake and they’re not bothered with a rap beef. However, the majority who listens to both Drake and Kendrick will slowly stop fuckin’ with Drake. He has lost respect in the Hip Hop community and amongst his own peers. In conclusion, his rap fans will slowly decline and singing fans will continue to support since many of em are women.

Yeah I noticed alot of my friends who are Drake supporters during the beef were mostly women. Judging for the Drake glazer comments on almost every comment section; I noticed its either people who are East Coast/Toronto which I understand because you gotta support your boy if you are from the area and that is natural. The weird part is I noticed the younger crowd seems to like supporting Drake more. I guess if you were around when Drake was still a singer (or during his acting days even) and see the transformation from a "nice/where's my hug" sort of guy to "rapper" Drake with a chip on his shoulder; its a bit harder to support his corner.

Drakes sense of being untouchable quickly turned into disillusion. His biggest mistake was underestimating Kendrick and not only his artistic ability, but his disdain for him. Drakes best bet now would be to pick a safe lane and stay in it. Otherwise we may end up with another rapper turned alternative rockstar.

3 things. 1) Jay-Z bounced back from Ether and came back bigger than ever 2) Drake has a mountain to climb to be even half as relevant as he was but the dude already defied the odds before. He was a nerdy, half white kid from Canada whose claim to fame was being wheelchair Jimmy on Degrassi High and he became not just the biggest thing in rap but in music. 3) Kendrick also has pressure to come back with music that will keep this momentum of his going. If he drops a dud album after this the people may lose interest in him too. Time will tell if Drake lost the war or just a battle.
