It was because he was the only black man that could fit in the car with out modifications ( if you are over 6 feet tall you are going to have problems ). Basketball players and football players who are tall and/or wide have to pay for modifications or have one custom-built ( which depreciates the value because the vehicle is now specific to one individual ).Rapper 50 cent is obviously a no brainer. European design is of a smaller build, for a smaller build person ( it's the same with the men's clothing, which is tailored for non muscular men ) . It's primarily for little men. Under 5’5

All asset prices skyrocketed during the pandemic. Luxury goods of all types sold like crazy. As Internal Combustion Engine cars go out of fashion, and are regularly outperformed by EVs, Luxury cars lke Ferraris will become a bad asset, and Ferrari will start pursuing guys like Floyd Mayweather to come back.

I think they both need each other. In Ferrari's case, because of marketing reasons: F1 is their base for existing as an independent team in the first place (they were an Alfa Romeo works team back in the 30s), the reason why they started selling cars in the first place, and the thing that differentiates them from Lamborghini and other luxury car brands. Without F1, they'd be a more historied and older Lambo.

I grew up loving the look of ferrari's, then as an adult and learning about this side of their business and now I strongly dislike them. It may protect their image in some ways, but it trashes their image in the same way. Given a free one, id sell it immediately to some rich prick

Also since the target audience (the rich people) of the cars were actually getting wealthier during the pandemic, Ferrari didn't have to worry about losing customers, it was in fact gaining them.

Ah Ferrari, the prancing horse mystique. I remember when I finally went to Maranello and Modena to visit the museums, they show a video telling the Enzo's story and finishes with the thank notes to the Commendatore, first from the employees, then from the fans and owners of the models and finally for those fortunate enough to experience and drive a Ferrari once in their lives (with those words). So many legends regarding Enzo, he used to make everyone to wait up to 4 hours in a cold room before meeting him, back when there was no dealers, so kings and tycoons had to subject to Il Drake, otherwise they would go home without their beloved scarlet machine

One of the parts people tend to ignore is that Fiat owned 50% of Ferrari in 1969 and 90% in 1988. Without it, none of the classic models people often cherish would even exist. Ferrari was primarily a racing team and Enzo was not interested in producing road cars.

Interestingly, Ford tried to buy Ferrari but got turned down hard. That became one of the pivotal reasons why Ford formed its own team for the Le Man tournament. Ford vs Ferrari was a good movie.

'To take control of' is an understatement. Every brand has some lvl of brand protection, but in my opinion, ferrari smothers their brand. Intentionally.

My first brand new Ferrari purchased was California. Bought 7 years ago. There were some weird points in the contract that mentioned about parking places, no modification and the logo., also apparently at that time I can only bought red color for my 1st purchase lol.

When the video reached its end, I felt like it is just beginning! Athletic interest is on top level.

Money is not everything for Ferrari. And I LOVE that. It’s about honor, respect, and brand identity. Lamborghini and Gucci for example ruined their brand image through selling to anyone. Ferrari is one of the only brands that stay loyal to keeping their image. That is why the rules are so strict. And if you don’t want to play by them, then it’s fine. They don’t need you :)

Very interesting, I'd heard there were conditions on purchasing but always thought they applied to the most exclusive models. Did not realize their overall strategy ran this deep ! That said I much prefer Lamborghinis 👌🏽

I think at this point Ferrari is like a cult or a religion. They have achieved something no brand has ever achieved before, they are truly beloved by their fans and customers. Most of them do not see the brand as a status symbol they just see it as a community and an institution they want to support.

Ferrari are so powerful and confident, that they can even black list VIPS, no other brand can do it. Ferrari do not need any off them. Even though they have not won an F1 championship for a long time, Ferrari is amazing.

Just because someone does a video on one brand banning someone, doesn't mean they're the only brand to do it....I don't know how you could think that. In ferrari's cause, the publicise it to help with marketing, most don't.

I have a friend who used to work in Singapore as an investment banker. He earned loads. His colleague bought Ferraris. It is crazy expensive in Singapore. But his colleague did. He bought old shophouses that nobody wanted. He refurbished them. My friend retired at 45. Earning a very high income renting his properties in land scarce Singapore. He travels every month to anywhere he wants. His colleague is still working. Moral of the story. Ferrari is not an investment.

And I still own a Hyundai🤣🤣🤣🤣

I just love this guy's voice and accent.I could listen to him speaking about anything for days.

you can buy ferraris second hand at several luxury call dealer. restrictions apply on new models of the average person with money wanting a new model needs to wait or be selected

This is why Jay Leno doesn't have a single Ferrari in his collection. He has stated repeatedly in interviews that he will not buy from a company that acts like you have to be grateful to be allowed to buy from them. That's not how a customer/seller relationship should work.

Ferrari is right. If you don't like the philosophy, stay away from the brand.

Volkswagen: 9.305.372carsx1.757profit=16.349.538.604 they have had their stocks on the marked since 1961 (Its a more active company(which means its shares should move arround more aswell) whitch owns other car companies) vs Ferrari: 8.400carsx69.987profit=579.490.800 they have had their stocks on the marked since 2015 (its a less active company(even being less active it still hard 2 major drops in value in 2022)) It also makes sense that the more profit% you make pr car the less risk you have when being unable to sell as you need to sell less cars to make up for the loss.

When you buy Ferraris you signing agreements and you will not alter the car in any way that including painting or anyting else and that's exactly what happened
