Every Friday during lent I go through the stations of the Cross at my Catholic Church 🌹
Agree. This is the best medidation of the Passion of our Lord
I pray and meditate on the stations of the cross everyday along with the seven sorrows of Mary and then The Devine Mercy Chaplet every single day

@tammywedding3123 yes! The 7 sorrows is a beautiful devotion! Look up Our Lady of Kibeho and the Rwandan genocide. There's a book about it by Imaculee Ilibigiza (spelling?) Her story is just about as amazing as the girls Mary appeared to.
Our church when my kids were growing up, was done in the words of His mother. It was quite a moving experience. ❤
Absolutely loved this episode! The Stations of the Cross is one of my favorites during the Lenten season. We often pray the devotions of the Stations thru the eyes of Mary. There are always a lot of tears flowing.
Sadly, this chaplet is no longer listed on their website. I hope they bring this item back! Thank you for a great show, gentlemen.
I have learned so much about Christ from you guys, especially his relationship with His mother.
Good Morning from Australia 🇦🇺 this is a beautiful episode. Thank you guys ❤️🙏🏼
I love Catholic talk show 😊😅
When I was much younger my father, who was an usher, would turn off one set of the church lights after the 14th station. We would all quietly file out of the Church...it was a very solemn and sad moment. We did not hear the resurrection reading until Easter Sunday and what a joyful moment that was! Now we hear the Easter reading every Friday during the Stations ...having heard it every week detracts from the joy of hearing it on Easter Sunday. Having the 15th station during the rest of the year is great but I really wish the Priest would not read it during Lent.
recently i’ve been listening to the stations on hallow, it’s been amazing and the reflections are really nice
Love the Stations of the Cross.
I'm from northwest Indiana and I too saw the man Ryan was referring to. I saw the man who carried the cross. I bought the chaplet and will be able to pray the stations daily. Thank you for an amazing show.
I used to organise Mary's Way of the Cross for at least one Saturday in Lent in my parish.
Our Lady of Sorrows, intercede for us sinners.
I have a booklet called House of our Lady (Meryem Ana Evi). The story of the Virgin Mary's Last Year's from The American Society of Ephesus, Inc. George B. Quatman Foundation. It details how her house was visualized by Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich, and found in Ephesus, Turkey, was and is maintained. The house is on a very tall hill and Our Lady made stations of the cross up the path to her home. Thought it was very pertinent to your comments about our mother Mary and her pain. And maybe worth a show
All that about the nails certainly puts it into perspective for me. I have a large cyst in the arch of my foot, and after working at my job a few days in a row (unloading freight trucks at Wal-Mart), it tends to not take much to remind me it's there. I've described many times as stepping on a Lego that I can't get away from because it's inside my boot. Now, the thought being unable to escape some nails holding you in place . . . 😢. At least I can limp a little, until my pain subsides.
There should be a talk on Gregorian Chant and how to sing the Gregorian Chant! :)
Thank you for such an informative show. So many powerful thoughts about Jesus and his excruciating crucifixion.
There is also a prayer about the shoulder wound of Christ where he endured more pain from that cross on his shoulder more than the beating

Our middle school 5th graders, do a very humble and reverent Stations of the Cross enactment and it brings tears to the eyes of the students of the other grades and to the parents in the audience. It’s absolutely beautiful to be a part of it each year. All of the 5th graders participate and have reading parts, singing and all dressed in costume.
Trust me, when you are in pain, every step seems a thousand miles. So imagine Jesus in that immensity of pain etc what each step would have felt...
Your discussion of the relatively short distance of the Via Cruces really drove home the intimacy of the Crucifixion for me. It was a relatively small, local occurrence of unfathomable magnitude.
Yes,St.Alfonsus Ligouria, "Catholic Minute"... very moving
The way of Cross, shall be recited till the Sunday of Resurrection.

Loving this episode 💜🙋🏻♀️✝️
I just discovered this today. I'm humbled. I was blessed to attended noon Mass followed by Stations of the Cross every Friday of Lent. A shout out to Father Joe at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Little Italy, San Diego CA.
I started praying the chaplet 2 years before being literally being put through "the stations" in life .in a horrible incident ..full on falsely persecuted, beaten , stripped , abandoned, and resurrected...and It has been on going so Fridays ...really are TGIF for me I never forget.and I wish no one such trauma they can relate but for anyone grieving it sure helps you cope....Christ ...I can't live without him
If you’re in poor physical shape it is a challenge walking uphill along the Via Dolorosa. Jesus was so badly scourged and having to wear the crown of sharp thorns digging into his scalp while carrying a heavy cross uphill - it’s no small feat. And uphill, in spite of it not being several miles, with the heavy weight he was carrying and his severe wounds and weakened condition it was beyond agony for him - can you imagine any of us having to go through a sliver of what he endured! And the walk up to Calvary is no small feat!
@robynbeach3198

That's Simon of Cyrene. We can't carry the cross up the Via Dolarosa , but we can pick up our portion of the cross and carry it as far as he asks us to, trusting him to take it back before we drop it.
Thank you so much for this great episode and all your episodes. I very much appreciate watching this show weekly. Each discussion is a tremendous opportunity to grow in holiness and become a better disciple of Christ--at least I aspire to be, even though I fall more than I follow. Moreover, I also appreciate having men who are fathers and shepherds. Much appreciated in these troubled times of so many misguided people yelping out "toxic masculinity." When Fr. Pagano talked about Our Blessed Lady as portrayed in The Passion of Christ having to endure watching the passion of Our Lord and her Son, I could not help but tear up. Fr. Pagano is a Father who understands the heart of Our Lady who had to endure her Son's unspeakable torment. The two Ryans and Jordan are fathers who understand the suffering heart of a parent when his child is in pain. I wish you all and all the listeners a most Blessed Lenten season. And in fewer than 2 weeks, Our Lord will be Resurrected. Deo gratias! Praise Our Lord, Jesus Christ, now and forever!
This was a very edifying episode. Thank you!
The best episode. Tears sadness I never knew. I do understand I did that to my Savior. But this discussion was epic.
Thank you Cross Amen ❤️✝️

Wow looking forward to this.
Great episode. I am a pakistani capuchin priest. Stations of the cross during lent season is a great devotional prayers pakistani catholics like. The most attended. Sometimes more people on the church on good friday then Easter. One may question the emphasis but persecuted christian has more identification with crucified christ then Risen Christ.

I have that crucifix on my rosary. Love it. And love this episode.
Wonderful show about the Stations of the Cross. Thank you for doing it!
Sorry I missed this excellent show during Lent. Nevertheless it is still a good meditation on the Lord’s passion.
When the Chaplet beads are purchased does a card come with it explaining where the prayers are said?
Make a video about Permanent Deacons. Please
Very Interesting Conversation! Also increased my knowledge of the Stations. Mahalo (Thanks in Hawaiian)!
Loved this episode!
I know this is after 5 months after the podcast. I’m trying to catch up I just discovered these guy close to 2 months. Back in my country my town Philippines - Pampanga every Good Friday there is a re-creation of the actual crucifixion!
Great discussion.
Love Padre Pio way of the cross
I recall the story, where St. Padre Pio, when asked about the pain of his stigmatic wounds, revealed a little known or reported 6th stigmatic wound, which our Lord imparted to him as His most painful: the right shoulder, where Christ bore his cross, which was debrided right down to the bone. According to accounts, Padre Pio related that Christ told him, this, was the most physically painful to endure.
Stations of the cross chalet is already sold out lol. But I did find and order a beautiful job's tears rosary with a miraculous metal added on! I am so excited to get it in. This is going to be my 9th rosary in my collection..... I think I have a problem lol

Analysis of the Shroud of Turin shows that Jesus was between 5'9" and 5'11" which was much taller than the average Hebrew man at that time. One can also see from the Shroud that he was of medium build, not a skinny weakling as so many artists have depicted him, so he likely weighed over 140 lbs. As a carpenter, he would have been very strong. Nevertheless, after the brutal scourging and blood loss, we can understand why he fell while carrying the cross and needed help.
A beautiful episode! the link to the Ave Rosary site does not show the stations chaplet available. May I ask you to re-post the link?
Change the intro music. Sounds like a sports event. Thank you for what you do
Simply amazing.. Thank and bless all of you!
How can we get one mailed to us?
❤️
The Cross makes sense in a way when one considers that Christ is the perfect human as God intended us to be, He is the mold all of us are judged by, Our Just Judge. Likewise, creation was made in and for Him. He is the New Adam. Among uncountable other honors, Our Blessed Lord, is the hero of the story of history, of the theodrama. Following His example, we find who we are meant to be.
I went to go buy that stations of the Cross chaplet and it's not on their website anymore... bummer 😕
Apparently this chaplet is no longer available? It is not on your website.
How do I look at the chaplet of the station and price
So which face is true? This face or the face on the death cloth in Turin?
Referring to Deuteronomy 6;4-7. It is mandatory for parents, especially fathers to share the faith with their children. To at least on weekly basis to share, discuss the faith with the children. It is very sad when Christian children is unaware of Jesus passion and death on The Cross for our salvation! That Easter egg is a simple symbol of new life because of Jesus death and resurrection. That the new, transformed life must reflect in our thoughts, actions, gestures, words, and prayers that leads to industriousness, purity, kindness,, good stewardship.
The rosary stations how can we get it on which price?

Deuteronomy 6:4-7 "[4]'Listen, Israel: Yahweh our God is the one, the only Yahweh. [5]You must love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength. [6]Let the words I enjoin on you today stay in your heart. [7]You shall tell them to your children, and keep on telling them, when you are sitting at home, when you are out and about, when you are lying down and when you are standing up;"
Forensic analysis of the man on the shroud of Turin indicates that the man on the shroud of Turin was anywhere from 160 to 175 lbs

15:04 all historical accounts of Jesus's physical appearance describe him as a head taller than other men, which even in those times is well over 6 feet. And he was a carpenter! That profession takes muscle, even now and Jesus was using primitive tools. The 3D print created from the Shroud of Turin didn't depict a small man either. I think 150 pounds is a very small estimate.

"Why Every Catholic Should Pray The Stations Of The Cross" Believer Translation: Because according to the bible people have done things against the will of god and so this is a way to repent those transgressions for forgiveness. Amen Non Believer Translation: Because 2000+ years ago humans created a way to say this is what your god wants from you and if you don't do what we wrote down in our special book this god will burn you in hell for eternity. So get down on your knees and beg/grovel god for your forgiveness, oh and by the way give us money and this god loves you. Amen
Thanks team for this topic. Way of The Cross is my favourite daily devotion during Lenten days. I contemplate my personal experiences for every station i prefer to do it alone at night before sleep. Am also reading “ The Dolorous passion of our Lord Jesus Christ by Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich “ which is adding more inner details to every station. @ Ryan - Seraphia is Veronica’s real name as mentioned in this book >> Jesus had anxiety and He can understand those who suffer from it- 😊 That was a good insight
