Bottom line is its so clear that sexual needs are prevalent. Im not being overly critical but the church shouldn't support a catholic clergy when many cannot overcome this.

Father Ripperger says that a baby is not assigned a guardian angel until birth, so the mother's gaurdian angel also takes care of the baby in the womb.

All Catholics and Protestant believers know that aborting a child is wrong. But our secular society has rooted out belief that life is sacred, unfortunately, save the few who still believe. Catholic commentary should focus on this and not homosexuality. God killed Sodom and Gemmorah. Liberals in our church allows free speech to debate this issue.

None of these things on your list is a problem at the latin mass. I came into the church in NO, but years later when I attended the TLM, it was like a whole different thing. The reverence, music, EVERYTHING!

Thank you for talking freely about this. I totally agree that the Catholic Church will be served better with truth and right consciousness. I do not have much respect for priests who are obviously gay yet preach and pretend against this truth. Lieing about who you are is sinful. Deceiving parishioners is sinful. Priests are to be leaders in truth as examples of Christ. Hard stop.

When I was in Catholic grade school the Mass was still said in Latin. My friends and I would take turns being the priest, saying mass in Latin. We used bread to make our communion. We would say all the responses in Latin and sing the songs. I also loved the scent of the incense used during some services. Sometimes my friends and I would dress up as little nuns. 😊❤

That's why people get a bad feeling for "conservative" Catholics and think they are like a cult. They aren't just the hateful comments but you can't be Christ followers and demonize a group that were born that way. They live in a bubble and believe what they believe. I just pray for empathy.

The priesthood (& nunnery) is a calling of the highest holiest orders. How in the world can a person living in any kind of mortal sin be in alignment with the Holy Spirit or give guidance? It’s the same for any sin too…not just sexual sin. Would it be okay for a serial thief or gambler (lack of poverty) to become a priest? A porn actor (lack of chastity)? The very foundation of the priesthood and nunnery is for those people who desire and seek God so much that they leave the world and its enticements behind …and take an oath of poverty, chastity and obedience. How can any priest living with mortal sin (lack of obedience) obey those 3 oaths?

I just came across this episode just now - watched it - and I have read up on the latest statement coming from His Holiness in recent days..... AS a person who, 'once upon a time'.... has spent a short time in seminary in early years of formation - and who also left seminary voluntarily, so not to live a 'double edged sword' - soto speak - and since as an openly gay man - IF I had chosen to stay in seminary and pursue discernment of a ordained vocation - I would have whole heartly kept my promises of chasity and celibacy - that I had no issue with at all - but when I was told I would have to denounce my 'person' and ideals....well I couldn;t and that is what led me to leave seminary - if a man is faithful to promises of chasity and celibacy both thru years of formation and in their priesthood - who cares what sexual orientation their inner core is..... that is my stance which I stick to - thanks

But a persons sexuality is not WHO they are. Sex is an action, a choice, a behavior. Even if a person has sex every day…sex is only 0.2% of what they do. Yet people have been programmed to completely identify with taking their pants off. It doesn’t matter how many times the TV tries to tell people they were “born this way”…it’s just objectively not true. (Dozens of studies have proven this). And, there are countless testimonies of men and women who chose God, left their worldly desires and became as God created them to be.
