Why Does EVERYONE Love Whitstable So Much? (Whitstable Kent)
Join us on the Kent Coast as we head to Whitstable to find out exactly what it is that makes everyone love it so much!
Starting our day with coffee (as we always do) we find an absolute gem of a coffee shop called Amedea on the High Street with a distinctly Balkan vibe and some of the most delicious iced coffee we've ever tasted.
Moving on we explore some of Whitstable's 'Must Do's' from the street art of Catman (a local Banksy style street artist) to the beautiful ground of Whitstable Castle, we which never knew existed, and the stunning views from the Tankerton Slopes.
Walking between Whitstable Beach and the iconic Beach Huts we make our way back to the famous Whitstable Harbour where we treat ourselves to an ice cream, some street food from the newly opened South Quay Shed and of course some of that famous seafood including Whitstable rock oysters!
By the end of our visit it is easy to see why people from all over love this corner of the Kent Coast so much.

I was raised there, brilliant place. have coffee at st alphege when it is on, or the tudor cafe and of course beer at the netptune
It’s very different when you live there …I lived there for about 4 yrs and although lovely …in the winter everything pretty much shuts shop ! My favourite memories of living there …saying good morning to Peter Cushing ( the actor) almost daily in either the coffee shop or post office …just the kindest ,nicest gentleman …I will never forget his kindness and him saying ‘god bless ‘ every time we parted ! …And walking along the beach when the sea was frozen one winter mid 80’s …the sounds were amazing ! Well worth a visit …but would never move back to live there 💞
When you were eating the oysters it looked like you were both on I’m a celebrity get me out of here showing each other you’d swallowed them 😂 I was waiting for Ant and Dec to appear 😆

I love oysters, the best place to get them is HollowShore Fisheries, in Oare. Bluey farms oysters out somewhere off Sheppey. Most go to London, or local restaurants, but the ones that are the wrong shape he sells at his shack in Oare, at a fraction of the price you'll pay elsewhere.

We will have to give that place a try next time we visit Oare.
An oyster is meant to be savored. Rather than swallowing whole, I recommend biting into the oyster so the full flavor profile can be experienced.
Our favourite place ❤️ Love the Fisherman's Huts, enjoyed fabulous stays in the Huts, quirky and great seaview 🏡🍾☀️⛵️ Great vlog guy's 😀

Such a wonderful place 🤩☀️
Whitstable is lovely but then I live there .
Looks like you two had a good time. Also looks like a good day at the beach
Love Whistable. I used to live in Faversham as a child and we would often cycle to Whistable to the beach during the holidays. Tried an Oyster once, it tasted like salty snot (apologies) but I love fish and we eat a lot in a week. Not so much meat eaters. Whitstable seems to blend old and new together, lovely little place. Love the Harbour. Great vlog thank you.

I am 100% not an oyster fan. The painting of the queen was really cool. Whistable looks like a really lovely place to visit. The chicken tenders looked really yummy. xx
