Big fan of Dr. Klaper and his humble and gracious personality and devotion in helping people and the planet. Had a consultation session with him at true north seven years ago and grateful for his consultation that help me understand about the effect of nutrition in our body. Thanks for having him.

I'm excited to see more from Dr. Burns it's great to see WFPB doctors that care about the planet, animals, along with people's health and cares for the less fortunate. He seems like a very compassionate person.

This was absolutely a wonderful chat today, just sorry I missed it live..🙁 Thank you ChefAJ for hosting them and having this very important topic brought to light more..🙏🏼💚 Thank you Dr Klaper for everything you are doing ..💜I love listening to you 🥰 Great to see newer doctors, Dr Burns.. thank you for spreading this message and everything you are doing too..🙏🏼 So glad that the cultural topic was touched upon, it’s very challenging when your family comes from a background (Latin) where meat eating and eating animal protein at practically every meal is very very cultural 😢 It’s been challenging and I appreciate this community so much.. thank you all..🙏🏼🙏🏼💜🌱🥦🍠💚

Thank you Dr. Klaper, Dr. Burns and AJ!!! Discouraging YET do not despair, it starts with each of us and our choices. Is anyone working with the insurance companies-to broaden coverage for lifestyle practitioners? My insurance-Tricare (retired military) do not provide coverage outside of ‘conventional’ practitioners. :(

Brilliant conversation. Thank you, Drs Klaper and Burns. And thank you, Chef AJ, for making this happen. Must-see. Share it out, everyone. Spread the knowledge. There is no question that how people eat has an incalculably profound impact on society, in countless ways. Frightening to think about--but more so, heartening. Because people have the power to change it. One of the most powerful agents of change will be when individuals experience just how good they can feel; many people who are stuck eating food-like substances and 'managing' symptoms of lifestyle diseases can't imagine it. Once they experience how they can feel eating FOOD, there will be no turning back. Pure power, right in people's very hands and wallets. 1:09:31 Spot on. Such a brilliant and profound insight here, among so many from both doctors. Thank you!

As a diabetes educator I am soo interested in the next episode. I am working on eating a mediterranean diet. It's a Segway to a more plant based lifestyle. It's a huge change. Just was to be a good example for my.clients.

Thank you for this video. Not only is it a concern that nutrition is not taught in medical school but if it eventually becomes taught, which agenda will be promoted? Will it be the dairy and meat industry or plant based? It will be interesting to see whether outside agencies and alternative facts will influence what is taught. It’s also horrifying to learn that the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association accepts funding from industries including Coca Cola, Texas Beef association, Tyson foods and Hormel. Does anyone know of any petitions available to ask these associations to not accept funds from industry that has a conflict of interest?

I could listen to Dr Burns all day. I suspect that after a few years of practice he will leave the profession and set up his own practice due to frustration with how things are. In addition to fewer processed foods and mainly plant-based eating, I also believe as much importance should be placed on reducing environmental toxins, improving sleep and mobility, and reducing chronic stress among various other holistic factor. Great discussion overall.

Wow, only 4% of the worldwide mammal population is wild and the rest are either bred for food consumption or to be human pets? That's astounding, if accurate. 1:13:00

The American medical industry and all its connections are very sick and require immediate surgery! How. are we going to speed up that process? There are many of us Whole Plant Based Eaters that do not have the financial resources to pay for a plant based doctor even on-line Many small cities do not have plant based doctors.
