    @@1173aw shit i work healthcare for 23 years now, SNF , hospitals, homehealth, and LTC facilities. You are not telling me anything new bro ,but thanks for trying. They just go that way to avoid litigation if their patients get hurt or something goes wrong. I could see starting rehab that way just to get started in certain case with patients that lack ability to prefom a full squat; goal being to achieve full sqat . Therapy services foucus is lower these days than it used to be. Insurance wont pay for enough to treat someone properly and most cant afford it. They generally aim to meet goals of basic functions because of limited sessions;unless you got hella money and killer insurance. Its sad to know that more therapy will help someone be better off, but no they dont give enough of it generally.

    Hey, doing squats exactly as your tutorials show, even tried more upright positions etc. But getting quite bad pain on hips now, wondering if I should squat through it and hope it gets better. After a set even getting to the elbows on knees position hurts.

    Coach Rip I have always been told that when doing lunges (barbell or dumbbell) it is always better to do reverse lunges than forward lunges. I assume this is to put less stress on the joints as that your knee and ankle must be aligned differently based on the direction of the movement. Hell if I can figure it out though. What is the answer?

  • @owenrung5182

    @owenrung5182

    3 жыл бұрын

    Man it doesn’t matter how much stress your putting on your joints as long as you work up to it at the right volume and intensity. Forward lunges do put more stress on the knee but if you just work up to it over a few weeks you’ll be good to go. You’ll get more resistant knees as you adapt to the increased loading on them. Now not that reverse or normal has one better than the other to my knowledge. Do what ever one You want. Hell do both if you like em.

    If you do 225 Full ROM squat you can still do 250 quarter Squat but if you do 250 quarter & if that's the only practice of Squat you been doing you won't be able to do a 225 full ROM. Conclusion do full ROM like rip says

    41 seconds I had to chime in you guys have got to have the ability to think through this just go ahead and do what rip describes and go ahead and do quarter squats but at the same intensity for 5 do your fives. You're gonna start regardless so just go ahead and cover all angles with this method if strength is your goal.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

    Deadlift este regele, în viața reală tot ce faci este deadlift,nu ridici nicio greutate de pe suport ca și în cazul genuflexiunilor,totul pornește de la sol, și deadlift în primul rînd îți întărește forța degetelor pentru a putea prinde și ridica o greutate ceace genuflexiunile nu îți pot oferi ,nu îți pune nimeni o greutate mare pe umeri tu pleci cu ea și gata,trebuie să ți-o ridici singur,deci concluzia o trage fiecare😊

    That leaves the squat rack mostly unoccupied in the gym, except if the quarter-squatters show up and do quarter squats. They do on occasion, but I can tell you they have the attention span of a goldfish, if that, and so the squat rack is soon empty again -- unless a curler shows up in it, which is even worse. Always look at the bright side of life.
