She's not rlly " just an innocent person" hated for being cringe anymore. Here is a list of some things she's done : ^ Created a dance group with disabled kids in it with her mom, where she verbally abused kids (like what was done to her in the past, but still doesn't excuse it) ^is friends with youtubers who were weird to kids even going as far to defend them (Colleen Ballinger & James Charles) ^Also was pretty toxic to her ex (begged her to get with her just as she got out of a relationship), made her cry everyday, verbally abusive and cheated on her with her ex Thats all I remember tho I've seen most ppl bring up the first two reasons more. ^ Oh also someone mentioned in the replies that she stole the credit for some songs.

The funniest thing I've ever heard in relation to Jojo Siwa was when I was watching my younger brother play this anime tower defense game on roblox. So, roblox started cracking down on games that use copyrighted matirial, so games that use copyrighted characters had to change the names to avoid copyright. Anyways, with that anime roblox game, they changed the name of Jolyne from JJBA to Jojo Siwa. I found that funny as shit because JJBA often uses musical refrences in their stand or person names, which, of course, have to be changed overseas.

Objectively speaking, I don't think anyone really hates Jojo Siwa on the internet, she's inoffensive to everyone and non-fans would probably have a Jojo Siwa content pass by their social feeds and click on in to check how she's doing nowadays, I guess aside from a few ultra-conservative American parents of kids who grew up watching her that do not approve of the current Jojo Siwa. This rebranding though is kinda 'meh' and totally missed her perceived mark, but it could also be the fault of her team and not her, she really just went from having a glittery colorful wardrobe to a glittery desaturated wardrobe. 80s glam rock isn't really the "bad guy/girl" image it used to hold back then, it just looks as show-y and theater-y as her regular fashion style. Also a big cliche she stepped right in was making her MV have this forced hypersexualized thing going on that would have been shocking and image-changing in the early 2000s and late 90s, but in 2024 it just feels a bit too forced to be taken seriously. I don't really have any good idea how Jojo Siwa can make her image change to match what she wants to be seen as, but it definitely isn't this.

There are legitimate things to hate her for that have nothing to do with her "new look". JoJo Siwa and her mother mistreated kids in her own studio and her show in 2021 "Siwa's Dance Pop Revolution". They have been taken to court for it and the lawsuit is ongoing as far as I know. Also, she has publically defended Colleen Ballinger in spite of the substantiated grooming claims against her (yes, the toxic gossip train person). I wouldn't be surprised if all of this was a distraction from what's been going on.

I don't think that's really the reason people hate her, there's some bits of crucial information missing here, like her defending a groomer, and being abusive towards a disabled person during her time on that dancing competition that I cannot remember the name, not addressing any of it and her suspiciously cover-up like rebranding! It seems to me these are the main reasons why people hate her, not her new persona.

Buddy, it's alright. The internet is kinda rough. I'm also aspiring to get more famous but my channel is almost 10 years old and I didn't do much progress, nor do I have time to do more progress. But don't lose hope. Getting viral for a good reason is hard, but if you really put effort into it you can get to anywhere you want to reach. And if people find that cringe, don't worry about it. Do something you enjoy doing. Don't force yourself to make people like you, just do whatever YOU enjoy doing and people will see how well you do it.

I feel like its weird that a lot of people are talking about accusations of her and her mother being abusive on the show Dance Moms. Not because i don't think it happened (i don't know the details), or because i don't think yelling at children would be a bad thing to do (it is) but because it was the show Dance Moms. That was a reality show ABOUT insane dance moms, and thats what jojo got famous from. Like, why is it just now people are like "whaaaaaaat?" I always just assume any celebrity who comes from a reality show did some fucked up reality show shit at some point

people were less sensitive in the 2000s/early 2010s and i think Abby did get backlash after the fact (not entirely sure). i didn’t watch the show but as far as i’m aware the mom’s weren’t very famous celebrities with reputations that could be easily destroyed. jojo is a different situation

You don't have your facts straight. JoJo and her mother have their own show where they called the shots. It was called "Siwa's Dance Pop Revolution" and the season ran in 2021. A bunch of the moms are suing for damages and the accusations are troubling. People have seen more of what happens to children behind the scenes after the show and are less ok with it. A lot of them discuss going to therapy because of what they experienced on the show explicitly. It's what "happens" in the machine, but it doesn't mean that it's ok.
