It feels like Brit actually understood the lyrics and message of the song, while Jojo just wanted to advertise her new persona through it. The imagery is a lot different, the widow aesthetic symbolizing her mourning the death of her relationship while talking to a priest trying to get forgiveness. While Jojo looked like a dollar store KISS member while humping background dancers... Her message was "this is the new me" paying attention to the "oh I'm saying 'I'm a bad girl' and cursing 🤭🤭🤭" just completely ignoring the "thou shall not cheat" moral of the song.

It is not a bad song at all. Jojo ruined it and then video was the nail in the coffin.

There's something so aesthetically pleasing about late earlier music videos(like Bleeding Love, Break the Ice and Telephone, etc.). The editing is so creative, entertaining, and it's sad how we don't often have these anymore...

Now THIS I like. Even the music video is better.
