Of course they had reason to persecute Christ. He was extremely offensive. He came to Earth to tell people that they were condemned to Hell by their sins, He told the religious leaders of His community that they were complete hypocrites, thieves and liars, and He said "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life". That's every reason in the world to hate and kill Him. They're not justified reasons, they're not morally correct reasons, but they're reasons. That's why people still hate the name Jesus and those who invoke Him today, the name has power. Christianity is offensive. But the truth is always offensive to those who love darkness, lies and hypocrisy.

When I observe a Sunday keeper, talking righteousness, I'm mystified how he can embrace what is not written, be so bold, as to be the subject of 1John 2:3-4 What is the usual response to my statement? Keeping the commandments doesn't guarantee salvation. My response to that? I already know that, and that the man is a liar, with no truth in him anyway.

@@jupiterrising887 First and foremost, his gospel is about Christ, as the gospel. It is the teaching/message of salvation being called the gospel, IN ERROR. The gospel, is without ambiguity Mark 1:14-15. HE called it the gospel. It's in the Lord's prayer for Christ's sake. Thy kingdom come. Paul too. Acts 28:31 See anything in those passages about Christ first, or God first? Note in Acts, the matters concerning Christ, ARE SECONDARY to the gospel. They are about the coming kingdom of God. If John 3:16, were the gospel, Christ would have said it is, but he clearly called his gospel the gospel. Satanic gospel while some truth about Christ. True gospel according to Christ about God. It can be red by anyone, but Christianity apparently. This is the current modus operandi of Sunday Christianity. There are 2 types of Christianity. Christ centered Christianity, and God centered Christianity. Christ centered Christianity is all about Idolatry of Christ, little of his word. Christ is about God from the very beginning. Obeying God, Mt. 4:4, 19:17. Seeking God, 4:4, loving God 22:36-40, all which amounts to the ten commandments, as the new covenant, written on the hearts of the truly converted. Christ centered Christianity, is not converted by practice. By practice, the vast majority are the subject of 1John 2:3-4. Thankfully, even the pretentious emotional, and well meaning but false gospel of Sunday keepers, are still eligible for salvation, just as those on the streets, just not a higher place in the kingdom, which is the real purpose of truly converted Christianity. Salvation being virtually guaranteed, the blessed and saints of Christianity, are those who keep the commandments of God. Something Washer would say is not valid, in the face of Christ's own words from the very beginning. Anyone can read it. Revelation 12:17, 14:12, 22:14. Most of professing Christianity doesn't consider after salvation, only getting in. Most of professing Christianity is unaware the ten commandments didn't come from, nor through Moses. Most even think Moses was a Jew. Most couldn't tell you the new covenant, even though I cited Christ declaring it from the beginning. The ten commandments written on the heart of the truly converted, as a desire. Washer, while all appearances of legitimacy are there, is not God centered, but just more of the rote Sunday teaching of salvation being called the gospel, bless his, and the multitude like him hearts. Salvation. A teaching called the gospel, over a thousand years. Gospel according ro Christ, Almost non existent, but for the Sabbath keepers called cults.

Jesus took everything I had, everything I worked for in my life was destroyed a half year after I gave my life to christ, I am struggling with suicide for years now. Jeus doesnt do anything. Giving your life to jesus is giving your life to a saboteur, he will ruin everything only for his glory. I hate my life in christ , I hate myself for giving my life to jesus.

do you know the consequences of giving your life to Jesus? You will have lot of struggle in your life, because that what the gospel write and that what also happen to all the earlier Christian and to all the apostles. But the main point is, they always believe and never judge Jesus for what happens to their life. Instead, Paul on Rome said that struggle makes you stronger because you will more see about the power of God. So if you think following and comitted your life to Jesus will give you an easier life than before, than thats was a miss conception. Jesus is not a fairy god mother that only grant your wishes. He is God that know what best for you, if you obey him. If i can pray for you, i hope you will wait for what Jesus are planning on your life, because there will be a joy in your life. God Bless You!

if he isnt real, than why you should hate him? like i didnt understand the corelation tho. Like, he never start a war, instead, he die on the Cross. All of follower also died in a tragic way. So? Why? Give me a valid reason to hate him. Don't judge him over nowadays Christian! Because not all Christian today is a real "Christian", some them didnt even know what Jesus taught!
