Jamiatul Ulama Britain Hizbul Ulama UK a meeting on 28th December 1986 at Darul Uloom Bury under the sadarat of Maulana Yusuf Motala Sahib, after this meeting both Jamats decided about Eid Ramadhan and all Islamic months, in UK will be based on Saudis the Umm al-Qura Calender. The decision to follow was made in 1986 in Daruloom Bury. To date, no one knows what was the evidence from the Qur'an and Hadith that led to such a decision. Wifaqul ulema are trying very hard to unite in accordance to the teaching of the Qur'an and Hadith but the Saudi followers will not come forward to resolve this matter.
Hadhrat Shaykh Ul Hadith Moulana Muhammad Zakariya Kandahlvi (ra), writes: “On the 1st Dhul Hijjah 1396H, 23 November 1976 in the Umm ul Qura (Saudi governments Birth of the New Moon) Calendar, it is written that Monday will be the 1st Day of Dhul Hijjah and Hajj (day of Arafat) will be on the Tuesday. In Saudi, the Umm al Qura calendar is followed. Upon reaching Madinah (a few days later) it was first announced that Hajj will be on Wednesday. Then on Friday, it was announced again that Hajj (day of Arafat) would be on Tuesday.” (Aap Beeti, vol 7, p211)

As in the UK, there are differences due to the Hizbul-Ulma and Jamiat-tul-Ulma. The reason behind this is because of their wrong impatient tactics.
