27 years old and I've been hospitalized for pancreatitis 7 times. 123 days sober today! I do not miss the misery of being an alcoholic. The first 2 months I struggled with euphoric recall. Fantasizing of the euphoria produced by alcohol, but now after doing some work on my spiritual life, I don't think of drinking much anymore. I'm getting a clearer image of how bad my drinking was, jnstead of fantasizing about the euphoric effects that only lasted in the first 8 drinks for me. After that it was just a sloshy, depressing night of me being isolated in my room alone. I'm actually living life and making memories and experiencing life and all of my senses in a way I've never experienced. I'm finally awake now and I have regained my place back into society.

@@learningvideosbynikhil8308 for some people the liver is a weakness and can be affected even by regular processed and junk food, add to that some moderate alcohol consumption and yes it's definitely possible to cause fatty liver and if a person continues on that path it can progress to fibrosis. Iv just been diagnosed with mild to moderate fatty liver, now I am quitting alcohol for good.

We like to take cruises. My husband likes to drink on a cruise. At home, he doesn’t drink unless I do. Well, I quit drinking about a month ago. Day 32! So, on the next cruise, he has purchased the drink package. I’m not drinking anything that has alcohol in it. I’m done with it. I choose health!

I have heard another YT content creator say that a person does not save money with the drinks package on a cruise unless they drink more than six servings a day.
@Angiehere-1
Ай бұрын
@@gwillis01 The drink package covers water, speciality coffee, smoothies, fresh squeezed orange juice, etc. I drink a lot of water, still as well as carbonated so that’s covered too. But I hear ya! Totally not necessary for someone like me. But if one person in the cabin wants the drink package, you both have to get it. Those are the cruise line rules.
I was 26 when my hangovers got scary enough that I quit drinking for a while and switched to other substances. Woman's body can't take as much abuse it seems.

I too have some. Random leftovers. I'd like to pour them out. My spouse doesn't like waste. Even though she doesn't drink. So we have three Natty Bos, a hard seltzer. A hard tea. A bottle of port wine and some kind of cheap white wine. It doesn't bother me, but who on earth is going to want to come over and drink these random crappy beverages?
I had a hangover yesterday was the worst one I had ever!! Lasted al day and even when I was trying to sleep last night.

Great work as always, J!! People need to be educated regarding the cold hard realities of alcohol abuse knowledge is power
I heard a rumor several years ago that the members of the music group The Beach Boys decided to stop going on wild drinking sprees in their forties because the hangovers become too painful. It just was not fun any more.
Im 5 days sober and still having horrible anxiety, im riding it out. I have PTSD and one of the reasons id drink so much was to escape it which is so ridiculously stupid cuz it just increases anxiety. No rhyme or reason ❌
Thanks!
Really enjoy your videos and positivity. Spreading true good vibes and the joys of sobriety. Once you can extricate yourself from the trap it’s beyond liberating. For me. A switch was switched and thankfully through reverse mindset techniques my cravings are almost zero. Social pressure not a danger either.
The moment you start getting sober (like I will be at 44 after 20 plus years of alcohol), I would highly recommend ordering a CMP Blood Test which is $40 then get an appointment set up with Quest Diagnostics (or LabCorp, etc,) to have your blood draw within 2 weeks of your final bender. You'll know ur liver, metabolic, protein, blood sugar levels. Bare in mind they could be elevated after years of hard drinking. Then after 3 to 6 months its advisible to take the same test again to see if your levels inproved after 100 plus days of soberity. I hope its not too late to reverse the damage that I caused inside and out.
