There's some real interesting thing going on in the world of "right to repair" laws. Basically these car companies are fighting for full repair control. Saying DIY should be outlawed and I don't mean just shade tree guys, but no one (who's not wear a ford shirt) can work on a ford for example. John deer has been doing it for years.

Hopefully there’s people capable of hacking the computers to work on them. I imagine there is. Warranty could be a concern with that otherwise that may be the way things go. Legal or not.

@@HookedOnTuna I agree. I would hate to get the the point where you gotta buy a brand new car and have to LS swap it just so you can, or don't have to, work on it

I get it if it’s a part issue. But why the hell do I have to wait 3 hrs to get my tire replaced when they have the tire in the shop and they’re not even that busy??

Place I take my car make an appointment for Monday for basic repairs call Thursday sorry still haven’t looked at it like wtf not like they are cheap and doing it for free
