They started calling Thompson "old" after he lost to Belal 30-26. I remember, everyone was underrestimating Belal and how Stephen was gonna run through that "bum". But they probably couldn't handle how effortlessly Belal got the victory and "Stephen Thompson is old" is one of the excuses that people came up with.

If they stayed on the feet the fight would have gone either way but Belal did what he needed to do and Wonderboy beating Holland in a striking contest shows you gotta be smart in fighting. Styles matter and Wonderboy was bound to lose to Belal in MMA the same way Holland was bound to lose to Wonderboy in striking.

But after Wonderboy started sparking him on the feet, Kevin shot for a takedown, which he wasn't able to finish it lol. He broke the agreement when he started losing.

Paddy Pimblett will never have a chance at the title, but he surely will make much more money than a lot of contenders, because he brings a lot of viewership, that makes money and he gets a part of it. The title is is only better if you're not charismatic enough to move the needle. Kevin Holland seems to have learned that as well. To make money, you need EITHER the belt OR the charisma to pull viewers. Don't got no charisma? Get the belt. People love you already? Just keep em loving and crush some cans until they're bored. Then slowly climb up untill you can't anymore, but at this point you're probably rich af. Then fight Jake Paul and get richer.
