All I know is that once I pondered a very very deep and life changing thought. It was only in my head but the most intense thought ever with regards to my walk with the Lord and WHY I always feel so alone. 10 min later 2 ladies walked into my office closed the door and said Jesus sent them to me with an urgent message that I am never alone even if it feels like it. They spoke 1 or 2 other things and left again. Jesus knows your every thought and He is The Good Shepherd......No atheist can explain that days experience away......

I have an extremely different story, that can’t be explained away, yet very different. Sadly I still complain a lot that I don’t get to have certain experiences that I hear of other people having…but I do believe in God giving people little nudges/hints in their life.

The private miracles we experience that don't mean as much to anyone else but are bedrock for us, exist in the millions and millions.

When I was looking for a denomination I prayed and 5 hours later I got a message from someone I spoke 1 month ago for about 5 sentences. He asked me if I wanted to learn something about Orthodoxy. I have the proof of it all still on my phone, it was so unbelievable that it strengthened my faith incredibly. So try to ask God questions! „He who searches, will find and to the one who knocks will be opened!“

it’s symbolic. Look up ancient Jewish Wedding. The son offers a cup to the woman he intends to marry in her fathers house…if she drinks from the cup, the son goes back to his Fathers house to prepare a place for her. Only the Father knows when it’s time to send the Son to get his bride because it’s the Fathers house and He decides when.

In Jewish bridal party traditions during the time Christ walked the earth, during the time the son was preparing a place for them to live together, the bride and her party were to prepare themselves and be ready in a moment's notice for the call, for the call could happen literally any time, and at any hour. The oil represents the Holy Spirit, which if we keep ourselves filled with His Spirit, we will continually made ready as we surrender the old self and its nature to Him while He replaces it with His nature.

I have learned so much from Dr. Heiser. And even though he has passed on, I'm still learning from him! Even though I never met him, he is the one who truly lead me to Jesus. Thank God for Michael Heiser!

Exactly!!!! Just like the holy days/moedim are a wedding rehearsal for the bride of Christ. It’s absolutely about the Hebrew wedding. The spring feast are the first coming of Christ, the fall feast represent the second coming, and the feast of trumpets (Yom teruah, day of the awakening blast hence 1 Thessalonians 4-16-17 which must be read in context) is the day and hour no one knows, hence the day comes as thief in the night. We know the season, we just don’t know the day or hour. The day of atonement is when Yeshua/Jesus takes his bride before the Father’s throne, Sukkot/feast of tabernacles is the wedding celebration.

Once had my car slide out on me and into a ditch with like a 70 degree vertical decline. Started crying my eyes out because there is was unable to do anything with no one for miles around and my car (not totaled mind you) stuck at the bottom. I pray to Jesus I said “ lord please help me this is only something you can do” and literally 10 seconds later a tow truck slid out as-well but he stopped at the top…long story short he helped me get out the ditch and I helped him push his truck out the mud along with some nice cops that the lord sent to help. Moral of the story “the lord will never put you through something you can’t handle and when the devil thinks he has you cornered our shepherd will guide his sheep from harm” stay blessed 😇 🙏🏾 and I’ll see y’all in heaven!

Additionally, Jewish custom was that when a son was betrothed (contact, first part of the marriage), he prepared a home or bridal chamber for his bride and he did return to get his bride until his father approved of the house/room that he has built for the bride. The groom would then, without warning/advanced communication to the bride, go for her to bring her home to his house for the second part of the marriage ( 7 day consummation period) and finally, the celebration. Several NT scriptures, in the gospels, Paul's writings and the book of Revelation discuss this parallel. Glory, Hallelujah for the marriage supper of the Lamb!

It’s based on the traditional Jewish wedding. After the betrothal ceremony the husband goes away and prepares a wedding chamber in his fathers house. When the father feels that the room is ready he’ll tell his son to get his bride and bring her home for the marriage supper to begin. The church is the bride and Jesus is the husband.

Hold on. Peter said to Jesus "Lord, you know ALL THINGS. You know I love you."

Jesus was flesh and blood but he was still God.. (1 Timothy 3:16)

I am not sure about the omniscience aspect because many occasions Jesus reads the hearts of people and even told Peter exactly how he would deny him, which I believe means he did have omniscience.

Its a reference to galiliean weddings in which the son would go build an addition to his father's house and the father would randomly determine when the son should get his bride. The son never knew when it would happen. Neither did the bride.

Not true at all. It says only the father knows. But in yiour given example, the father of both knows it, Rabbis, the family etc. Jesus was invited to a marriage, so many people knew that before. And moreover: so God is relying on a human tradition? Stop making up excuses, Jesus just didnt know it

The ministry of Christ started after His baptism. As to what Jesus knows is what the Father reveals to Him. Jn.12 For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent. Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.

Jeses only spoke the words on earth our Father told him to share. Jesus knows he will rule the earth with a iron fist because God told Him so.

I never met him but I sure do miss him.

Why would Jesus let us know anyway? It is beyond us, also not something we should know. We are asked to be faithful, but never asked know what the divine plan is, it would not be divine if we all knew what was to come.

@@marthasluder5221 In the New Testament it is written by John and Luke both that all of Jesus’ abilities were taken and he became human when crucified, although he did tell the thief on the cross next to him he would be going to the same place where he was going after he acknowledged that he believed that he was the son of God in the flesh.

He did not know when he was man on earth but the resurrected Jesus knows,all things have been committed to Him.

If you look at Acts 1:6-8, the same question of knowing the day or hour pops up again. This time, after the resurrection, Jesus doesn’t include Himself in ignorance; Jesus simply directs the statement of ignorance at the disciples. The implication is that, now, Jesus knows.

Just because there are changes throughout time (changes in covenant, for example), doesn’t render any part of the Bible false. Likewise, we need to understand the chronology of Christ’s humiliation and exaltation in Philippians 2:5-11. There was a point when Christ emptied Himself of glory and authority when He became flesh (Philippians 2:6 and John 1:14), and now God has exalted Him and given Him all authority in heaven and earth (Philippians 2:9, Matthew 28:18).

I learned from Zola Levi that in the ancient (perhaps not so old) Jewish marriage a house is constructed for the couple and only the Father knows and decides when the house is ready. When that time comes he sends word to the son who then goes and gets the bride. We are waiting for our husband. He’s ready. We need to be ready too. That’s all that matters.

​@@Iwillnotbepushednot true. Jesus was pointing to his diety in the verses following when he told them the signs of when he would come back. Only one of the gospels says not even the son. I believe if that verse belongs then he was pointing to his humanity before the resurrection.

​@@StillProtesting the one after the resurrection, when it had been 40 days I think it says, he went up on a mountains and the disciples who were still alive after the resurrection witnessed him ascend. I think it's called the tetragammation, at least that's what I've seen it referred to as. And don't condemn me or judge me and try to send me to Hell thinking I'm a bad spirit or something just because I don't have every single scripture memorized off the top of my head. I was just saved within the last 2 months so, don't go against Isaiah 54:17 and give me a break.

But you are living forever already. Your atoms come from stars. You are the product of 3 billion years of continuous mother to child. Your food and water and air you breathe is in constant cycles. Water cycle. Carbon cycle. Nitrogen cycles etc

A closer reading of the text points to the new heavens and earth being what Christ was talking about.

After he is resurrected and they ask him the question, he says “it’s not for you to know.” The answer changed after he was resurrected.

I was in this class online. So good. Miss my teacher but thankful for all he taught us, modeled for us and the digital archives that still instruct and encourage us.

I’ll advise you to run from this man’s teachings because they’ll obscure you view of Christ .. You cannot know Jesus Christ from this man , I was his student for a year plus until God saved me from and open my eyes to see that he’s void of the Spirit.. . Just imagine this teaching, he clearly denies the deity of Christ , he clearly said Christ wasn’t omnipresent and omniscient which means that Christ wasn’t God in the flesh or that Christ was stripped of His Godhead when he took the form of a man and that’s total blasphemy and complete heresy! . But how would you know that when you’re seeking for something new, you’re seeking for knowledge instead of seeking for Christ, how can you spot a wolf in sheep clothing .. He has taught so many heresy but he uses his subtle voice and gracious personality to mask it just to deceive the unsuspecting ones in our midst.. . No it's kenoticism. They best answer is the one the Jewish audience would have understood. Jesus is alluding to the wedding tradition where after betrothal the groom goes to prepare a home for the bride. His father decided when it was ready. The son had to wait for the Father's approval, even if he knew when it was ready, and if he was asked when it would be his response would simply be "only my father knows" It's not about knowledge it's about deferring to the Father's authority. When the time comes the friends of the groom go out ahead, the trumpet is blown and the bride and guests collect for the feast. Thats the trumpet Jesus speaks of a few verses earlier and the feast spoken of to be ready for with the parable of the 10 virgins which immediately follows. This passage was never about Jesus incarnate abilities, it was always about Jesus returning for his bride and for them to be prepared. That's the context and that's the meaning the original audience would have understood.

I know a few pastors who love the lord but don’t understand and have a hard time answering this question. That’s why I believe this is one of, if not, the best answer I’ve heard on this question. I’m not a huge supporter of Dr. Heisers work, but this is one of the few times I would agree with him. And it’s not really kenoticism, because he’s not saying that Chris stopped being God but rather certain things Christ could easily do in his deity, he couldn’t do because he was limited to his body. Christ in his incarnation, wasn’t outside of time and space anymore, but rather was inside and bound, for the most part, by time. He couldn’t be everywhere at once in his incarnation. That’s just a fact and that’s not kenoticism. Kenoticism is what people like Kenneth Copeland, Joel olsteen, bill johnson and those of that nature teach. They teach Jesus was a man and became God after his resurrection. That’s kenoticism

@@Jude1ministries I'm sorry but kenoticism is the Son emptying (kenosis) himself of any of his attributes. If you are saying Jesus did not possess the fullness of his deity then that is the kenoticism heresy. You described adoption, another christological heresy. Jesus incarnate man was in one place but he still was part of the godhead and knew all and was one with the Father and one with the holy spirit who was omnipresent. Jesus veiled his glory and did not demand what was his as God while on earth, thus humbling himself as an example for us, which is the whole point of the Philippians 2 passage we get "kenosis" from. Fully God, fully man.

@@joshuabigbee5874 kenoticism is the complete emptying of his godly attributes. Jesus was still fully God and Fully man, that we both agree on. But he did limit certain aspects of his Godly attributes to take the form of a man, that’s the point of Philippians 2. It’s clear that there are instances where Christ act s in his human nature and there are times where he acts in his divine nature. That’s the mystery of the incarnation. And I think thats where dr. Heiser what’s getting too, but I don’t completely know. Christ was acting in his human nature when stating that he didn’t know of his return. He also wasn’t in his omnipresent state in his incarnation, however there is one instance where he does act in his omnipresence is John 1:48 “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.” (El Roi: the God who sees me) Now I will admit, I have know idea the doctrine of adoption when it pertains to Christ so if you could explain that to me that would be helpful and I would appreciate it (and I mean that in a serious sense)

People need to seek God and the Bible for answers

This is not really a complete answer. I don't know if Derek believed in the pre-tribulation rapture, it doesn't look like it from his reply. It has to do with the Jewish groom not knowing when his father would tell him to go and collect his wife after the betrothal. The groom goes prepares a place / room for his bride and when it is ready, his father tells his son to get his wife. The groom does not know when the father will tell him to do that. The is a picture of Christ returning after 2000+ years to come and collect his bride the Church, before Jacob's Trouble. John 14:2-3 KJV - In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

The Bible made of the Tanakh and Greek New Testament gives a correct narrative of the events that took place, from eye witnesses and contemporaries. The New Testament writers like Apostle John, Matthew, Peter etc and the events that happened is accurate to historical events that took place like the crucifixion of the LORD. Non Christian sources like Tacitus the Roman Historian and Josephus a Jewish and Roman historian confirms the Crucifixion of the our LORD... which the Quran ignorantly denies. Read Holy Bible. Gospel of Luke 1: 26-38. Gospel of Matthew 1: 18-25 etc

There is no way the fullness of God can exist in a finite human form. He CHOSE to be limited in human form to be a perfect sacrifice.

Satan asked Jesus to worship him, Jesus said people should only worship God. He didn't say people should worship me. The problem with the mainstream interpretation is that people forget or don't know what the tetragrammatin is. And how the tetragrammington is a name of the true God found in the Old testament, It is not the name of Jesus. No, what he was talking about was subjective. If that were true then 1 John 5:7-8, John 1:3-4, Hebrews 1: 1-4 , Revelations 22:13 and many scriptures that clearly says He is all powerful and should be taken out of the Bible. It clearly says that The Three are One. It clearly says that Jesus is all-powerful. It clearly says in His Word that Him and His Father are One. Jesus is Omniscient, omnipresent, and Omnipotent. Same with the Holy Spirit because if Jesus is not omniscient, you’re canceling the Holy Spirit out as well and clearly the Father which again these Three are One. Read the Word before trusting someone’s opinion or theory.

That’s just how the Father wanted it to be, just for Him to know. Doesn’t mean Jesus isn’t omniscient, Jesus knows His time is coming soon to come for His Bride with all the prophecies coming to pass and everything that’s happening in the world. We just have to be prepared for His coming.

I think this is the answer. God kept that information from Jesus because while he was in a physical body Jesus also had humam emotions. He was sad, and he cried when he saw how distressed people could be (e.g., Lazarus and his sisters). Jesus loved mankind so much that He gave His life to save us, and because of that great love, during a period of human emotion, he might have told his disciples the day he would return (the last day). He came pretty close to telling them in Matthew chapter 26. If people knew when would be the last day, many would probably live a sinful life and wait just before the end to repent, and because God knows our hearts and genuine from fake repentance, they would go to Hell. We can't fool God. I think that God didn't reveal the last day to Jesus because God loves mankind and He doesn't want us to end up in Hell. Btw, everyone's last day is the day they physically die. After that there is no chance to repent.

I watched a documentary movie (sorry, cannot remember the name) about the Jewish culture in the region where Christ grew up and their marriage rituals. It was common for the father of the groom to set the time of marriage. The bride, her parents, the community and the groom all had to wait and be ready for the father's word, nobody knew the day or time. The bride would be constantly prepared at a moments notice, day or night. The respect for the father's house she would be joining was paramount. It was an incredibly rich and romantic tradition, of which I am not doing justice here in my explanation. The Bible talks a lot about waiting and being prepared and it relates to this cultural tradition modeled after God. So Christ is the groom waiting for the father to say 'go get your bride'. It's romantic and mysterious, like a slow burn until all at once the action is initiated and joy hits the streets in celebration. This is why Jesus does not know. He was always obedient and lead by the father and still is.

Jesus knows the day and hour because He’s God Himself and has always existed with God the Father, the Father doesn’t hide anything from Him.. Jesus only said He doesn’t know because it’s the Father’s responsibility to declare the day the bridegroom will go and bring His bride home , so it would be out of place for Jesus to declare the day He will return because only the Father knows the day.. . Anybody that says Jesus doesn’t know the day is indirectly saying Jesus isn’t God in the flesh and that’s something the Holy Spirit will never teach any man

Not true at all. One year before the marriage there ia the betrothal. So both know when they gonna marry. Before the marriage, Rabbis do special ceremonies with husband and wife. No, what he was talking about was subjective. If that were true then 1 John 5:7-8, John 1:3-4, Hebrews 1: 1-4 , Revelations 22:13 and many scriptures that clearly says He is all powerful and should be taken out of the Bible. It clearly says that The Three are One. It clearly says that Jesus is all-powerful. It clearly says in His Word that Him and His Father are One. Jesus is Omniscient, omnipresent, and Omnipotent. Same with the Holy Spirit because if Jesus is not omniscient, you’re canceling the Holy Spirit out as well and clearly the Father which again these Three are One. Read the Word before trusting someone’s opinion or theory.

If your Dad was the sheriff, there are things he could tell you as your dad and there are other things that are up to the sheriff.

Mike was just great at explaining things and helping me to understand how UFO's (an interest of mine that dates as far back as I can remember) play a role in the spiritual realm and have actually nothing at all to do with "aliens". Sadly for all of us he passed about a month and a half ago. He's in a better place though, so something we can look forward to is being there also with him and more importantly, with Jesus Christ 🙏 God bless everyone

You may be shocked to find out that he didn’t make it into the kingdom, I’m just saying because he preached so many false doctrines and he dazzled many with knowledge and philosophy but he didn’t preach Christ and him crucified, he didn’t preach the gospel but he preached history which had so many errors in it but only Lord knows if he made it or not

The cut-off point at which Jesus stops interceding for his Saints is the greatest Paradigm Shift of all time. Remember, Jesus said I have not lost one of them the father has given me. So... while Jesus is deeply involved in making intercession for the Saints Our Father God is the only one who knows who will be that last lost sheep to be found. Then, It's over Rover Let the Fire Works Begin.

Jesus told the Father knows the time. HE said he doesn't know the time so that we can be always prepared. We always be watchful and alert. Always have the oil in our lamps.

Jesus Christ does not lie, he tells the truth. It is so clear that no one knows the hour not the angles not the holy spirit nor the son of god/man only the Father. Jesus Christ didn't know when the hour is, basically because he is not God, even the holy spirit doesn't know when the hour is, also because he is not God, the only one knows the hour is the Father because he is the only true God according to Jesus Christ. When you want to hold on to a belief, you will come up with some answer. The problem is almost the whole bible needs to be turned upside down to suit this doctrine. The vast majority of the bible reads as if there is just one person who is God and Jesus is his anointed. Better to turn a few verses upside down, than the other way round. But then, who is prepared to change their mind?

@@rsk5660 always prepared to have my mind change. To believe Jesus is not God is to believe He has been created. To believe He's been created is to define scripture when it says nothing was made that was made without him. It also means ignoring all instances in the new testament where prophecies of YHWH is applied to Jesus. To understand what Jesus was saying when He says I and my Father are one is to look at what Paul says when He says God is one in Galatians 3:19,20. Let me ask, if your shadow starts operating independent from you but possess the same mind so your shadow would not do anything you wouldn't, isn't your shadow another person? Yet still you? This is how I understand God. The Image of the invisible God is distinct from the Father but is identified as God.

@@2NYce John 1 is about the word. In Genesis God commanded (word) and there was light etc. We are so brainwashed it is hard to change. Surely verses like the father is the only true God are so simple. We are introduced to John 1 very early on in our Christian life before we have even read the bible and therefore not able to judge things. If we read the old testament first, we would come to the new testament like Peter and Paul thinking that God is the Father, a single person. If we thought like them, it would not be so easy to then change to thinking God is three persons. Just look at how much is said in the new testament about the changes that were taking place in the christians attitude towards the law, but yet nothing is said to help people in realising God is three persons. You would expect such a big change to be addressed. But no. Some people like this woman in the video have logical difficulties about Jesus being God and instead of praying we tend to go to our favourite teachers, and get "well turned words" which we can't discern to be true or false. We just accept what they tell us. It is only when we pray and read the bible for ourselves that we can find the truth.

@@rsk5660 backstory: there was a point I rejected the idea of a 3 in 1 God. So again I'm not against change. There are plenty of scripture that we can discuss because I actually research this for myself first before hearing the insight of others. I just want to highlight a few John 1:1 is probably one of the most used scripture to support the trinitarian doctrine but it's not just 1:1. It's the whole passage. The Word was with God, The Word was God, The Word was made flesh and dwell among men, etc... This itself is slightly expound upon in Phillipians 2:5-8. Which we can also use to breakdown John 17. Glorify me with the Glory I had with you before the world existed. It makes perfect sense why Christ acknowledged the Father as the one true God especially in the context of the time where they were turning away from the one true God to worship other gods. In Revelation 1:8 when Christ himself identified Himself as Alpha and Omega, First and Last, The Almighty. These are titles reserved for One. I mentioned Galatians 3 earlier but tie that in with 1 God and 1 Mediator. Looking at both does the 1 God and 1 Mediator disqualify the Mediator from being God. This is the same author so there is an understanding that one of the scripture was written with that ties in with the other. Not really a scripture that I see used often but it does reveal the identity of Christ prior to His incarnation (or earthly birth) Zechariah 12:10. They will look on He whom they have pierced. These are the words of Yahweh. So who was pierced? Another scripture not really used Jeremiah 17:10. I Yahweh search the hearts....in Revelation 2, Christ said I am he who search the hearts.... I am paraphrasing but the wording is identical. I am not here to convince, attack, or cause descension in any way I am just share what has been revealed to me and willing to hear more from a differing point of view because at the end of the day we are seeking after our creator and does us no good to hold onto inaccuracies. @@2NYce My last comment was about reading the old test first. You will then have the same mindset as Moses, David Peter James and John. Just try and imagine believing that God is a single person like they did. Then imagine having to unlearn this and start believing God is three persons. It would be as difficult as trying to convince a trinitarian that God is one person. Let me know why you think this difficulty was not addressed in the new testament. Verses in the old testament are used to argue certain points in the new. But no one tries to argue that Jesus is God like you do using the old testament. The old testament is used to show that Jesus is God's anointed, a priest, a sacrifice to God, a mediator like Moses, a prophet, his resurrection. The idea that the God of the old testament said he created everything by himself, is too simple a truth to be changed without any controversy. But the church gradually changed this truth step by step. It can be seen in history. It is quite easy to see that the majority of early christians did not believe that Jesus was God. For example, Tertullianwas teaching that Jesus was created to create everything, and he said that the common majority did not like what he was teaching. Zech 12 v 10 although it says they will look on me, this is quoted in the new testament as they will look on him. I would suggest your method is wrong. Why are you trying to find verses that Jesus might be God. There are thousands of verses that imply that he is not. This creates a problem. Is he or is he not. Normally if a page is almost all white with a black spot we assume the black spot is a blemish. But if you zoom in too close on the black spot you will think the page is black. I think trinitarians are too zoomed in on a relatively few texts and don't see the big picture. I can't show you the big picture. You have to read the bible constantly from cover to cover, over and over, and in this way you will see the big picture yourself. As you become aware of the big picture the verses you think are importants become less significant. In fact, a lot of trinitarian arguments are unnoticeable when reading the bible through. And so, if the bible talks almost all the time as if God is the father then it is safe to assume that the few verses such as the ones you quote might have an explanation that fits the simple narrative. For example the fact that Jesus said all power has been given to me would explain how Jesus can search hearts.

Philippians 2:6-8 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

These preachers exist! The ones that can reason clearly and full truth not jump first at fear tactics

Jesus does as the FATHER says, they are separate beings. He will come back when Father says thy work is done, go and gather my children. ❤

I love Dr. Heiser dearly and his scholarship is essentially unmatched but he got this one wrong. Christ did have the fullness of deity while on earth (Colossians 2:9) and as a custom of the a Jews during a wedding, only the father announces or reveals it, not that he doesn’t know although our English translations do no justice to us when reading that text. However, our beloved brother is now with our Lord and I’m content with that and his work as a faithful servant to our Lord.

@Betsy to answer you shortly, he knew who was going to be betray him (John 6:70) he knew Peter would deny him and knew the exact amount of times before the rooster crows (Matt. 26:34) he knew and saw Nathanael beforehand (John 1:48-50) and Peter says he knows all things (John 21:17) and lastly Colossians 2:9 vividly says the fulness of deity dwelt bodily in Christ. Physical limitations because of his human form, sure, but there's no need to make void his omniscience because he's manifest in the flesh when we have a plethora of scripture to show his full deity on earth.

And as Dr. Heiser said, He was limited to one location at a time and thus didn't exhibit omnipresence.

We must remember, Jesus was in constant spiritual contact with God the Father. God would have been working through Jesus, and more so when it was absolutely necessary to do so. Jesus spoke of and prayed to his/our Father in heaven often, thus we need to understand the special connection the two shared between the Heavenly realm and the Earthly material realm. The point being, God would have given Jesus extra insight into things whenever he truly needed it, and he/God would have also refrained from interfering when he felt his help from heaven wasn't needed or necessary in certain circumstances, or situations. Jesus was perfectly capable of handling most things, especially as he matured and understood his role as God's Son. I think if people begin to see Jesus as God's earthly conduit... things begin to make a lot more sense regarding how God was trying to help the world/humanity...save itself...from itself

*1Corinthians 2:2 "For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified"* I think this scripture serves as a good example or how one can intentionally limit the use their own knowledge to serve a specific purpose. Jesus deferred the His Father in knowledge and authority many times while on Earth but that doesn't mean that there were actually things that Jesus didn't know or things that He 'couldn't' do. Jesus clearly chose to limit the use of His power while on Earth. He walked in the dirt with us, not because he 'couldn't' fly or be omnipresent, but because he chose not to.

Jesus: "a man appointed by God" Acts 2 "God raised him from the dead" Rom 10 "The head of Christ is God" 1 Cor 11 "The mediator between God and man, the human Jesus..." 1 Tim 2 "God made him both Lord and Messiah" Acts 2 "Believe in God, believe also in me." John 14 "Jesus grew... in favor with God." Luke 2 "There is one God... and one Lord Jesus" Eph 4 Jesus are God are clearly two different beings. The bible tells me so.

Can we also say that it's kinda like as a father you know more than your child?

Jesus was and is God Himself in the flesh, there’s no difference, He’s completely equal with God and has always existed in the form of God (Philippians 2:6)

@@brandedforchrist I also read about how it's like Jesus coming back for his bride. How only the father knows when Jesus is coming to take us up. Kinda like a marriage

@@daZelly Jesus knows too but it’s the Father’s responsibility to declare the day so He humbled Himself again in that situation..

@@brandedforchrist weather in flash or not if you are same person you will know same things you can do same things etc.. if a water bottle got smaller in its size it’s still water it doesn’t change to fire.. .. seek the truth man.. he is basically saying he is gonna get godly wisdoms as he grow up ? Does that even make sense ? Jesus was nothing but a chosen men by almighty god.. didn’t Moses separated the sea by the will of god..? wasn’t ibrahim saved from fire by the will of god..? Even Jesus did all the miracles by the will of god.. Jesus referred his god as Allaha in the Bible which is Allah in Arabic language.. Allah is the only god and all the prophets mentioned in the Bible came with Same message.. prophet mohamed is the last messenger and Jesus gave the news of his coming in your own scriptures.. don’t be hypocrite. If you love Jesus pbuh follow his message and teachings.. Image you love Jesus so much but you are spreading messages against him..

This guy is a false prophet. Jesus in the same chapter had already predicted everything that was going to happen on judgement day. The reason he said only the father knows the hours was because the context was about Christ's wedding day to the church. Jewish custom was that it was only the father who would announce the coming of the groom . Heretic!!
