I disagree a little on your anaylsis. If you try to out rise Devon and fail you will lose (like Ermes) and the only option will be flop (like Genadi) Unless you have longer levers and hand than Devon (like Vitaly) you wont out rise Devon. However Dennis gripping low is the perfect counter. Dennis will grip low, neutral wrist, back pressure, and go sideways. Only question is whether hes strong enough

Learn your history, The Devon/Denis match was right after devon had elbow surgery. It was also Denis's dominant arm against Devons weaker arm. Denis would not take a match with Devon's right. Or to be more precise Igor would never let Denis pull Devon. In the match Denis vs John, Denis didn't struggle. You can not mask that unless you paralize your face muscles. He was steady as a rock and pushed John's hand with 80% (I think) of his total power. His face did not tremor nor had veins swolled up on his face nor had a red face. Even recovering, Devon has no chance and Denis and may be the strongest armwresler of our time.🙂

If Dennis truly gets back to his old form he’ll beat Devon. Dennis has a very high iq like Devon but dont be fooled into believing Devon will be as strong as Dennis.
