The sith sphere in the fate of the Jedi books is questionably sentient, the ships from Zonama Sekot, were alive, and the Yuuzhan Vong ships were also alive.

That ship was the perfect vessel for use by a sith assassin. Chucked filled with forbidden sith technology, power and weaponry that could tempt anyone, capable of getting past it tremendous internal defences with a desire to explore the stars and those hidden places that the sith knew of and had set up home over the years.

Always thought his ship was pretty sweet looking in the phantom menace. Wish we would have seen more of it.

What they should do is tear the ship apart. Reverse engineering and figure out how to build a light side version. That's one of the major problems with the Jedi Order. The Seth come up with all this cool stuff, and the jedi don't. The only thing that the sixth ever invented that the jedi reverse engineered and figured out how to create a lightside version of is the light saber. As far as I can tell, they never even tried with anything else. Makes me think that no wonder the rule of 2. Despite weakening the silk so much through masters not passing down everything to their apprentice. They still were able to overcome the jedi. The jedi handicapped themselves far too much. If you review the earlier wars, it was more the early Republic that defeated the fifth than it was actually the jedi.

Sith technology, like their holocrons being seductive is exactly why the Jedi don't try to reverse engineer Sith tech though. Imagine by ordering a group of Jedi technicians to copy the design, the very tech they're learning about turns them dark. Now the Jedi have a bunch of fallen Jedi on their hands to deal with, armed with advanced Sith tech, and it's all the fault of the council for giving the go-ahead in the first place. They stay hands off with Sith tech for a reason. The Jedi also created light sabers first, the sith stole the tech from them, just FYI

@@WWalton1996yes, this^ Though I do agree that a concerted effort should be made to implement the light side more often into new inventions. There was a Jedi inventor in the High Republic who was interested in doing things like this but the Council shut him down and discouraged his work. (Elzar Mann) Because of his willingness to experiment with the force, he was deprived of the rank of Master even though he was well beyond the age, skill and experience to attain the rank.

I think I would like a breakdown on the bacta tank, how it was used, what needed to be worn inside, and what were some of the most famous users of such tanks in Canon and Legends.

Those plans make that ship much larger than we see in the movie

Always been my favorite ship in any fiction. Just the right size, cool lookin, everything. Maybe a bit overpowered but, all the better.

So the ship is sort of like a horse. It's a vehicle made to be ridden, but it has consciousness and the ability to act on it. A horse will rear up and kick if it sees a threat, this ship will set its defenses to kill if it senses a threat. Well, more like it has a dark side aura of the force that lingers in and around it, and the force telepathically senses and evaluates any life forms that get near it and their intentions, their temperaments, and their sensitivity to the force. That force aura can then affect the electronic components to respond accordingly. It's more of a haunted ship than a "living" ship.
