I appreciate Coco Boy wanting to expand his knowledge of this little known corner of the world...but to be from Israel and not know about Egypt and papyrus really shocked me 😮

Lake asphalt at La Brea. As good as or even better than petroleum asphalt. Mixed with synthetic means that it's mixed with polymers to enhance the quality and meet specifications for various countries. Good video and basic discussion.

A very interesting hike. I have visited the LaBrea Tar Pits in Los Angeles where they have built it up into a Tourist attraction. I was unaware that Trinidad/Tobago had such a resource.

Coco, this was the most thorough tour of the pitch lake I’ve ever experienced. The tour guide was the most knowledgeable and well spoken.Big up to Neil……that was a 10!In fact I went to school nearby where I can see the pitch Lake from class. At that time there was a huge scale where trucks would enter to measure the asphalt. Many tourists would come and go.Nearby local folks would try to make asphalt drums into steel pan….u can hear tuning of the drums into steel pan music.Thank u so much!Well done.👍🙏
